Dungeon Tactic's 8FFA [v. 6.1]

Dungeon Tactic's

A dungeon crawler for 8 players in which you'll be able to control powerful heroes and command unique units, facing the dangers that lurk on this large map. Collect a certain number of Win Points to emerge victorious, but be aware that the other players are trying to archive the same!

- Choose a Hero and buy Units for Gold
- Kill Monsters and Enemys to obtain more Gold
- Combine Units to make them stronger
- Use your Town Hall, Forge and Sanctum for upgrades
- Collect Win Points from both PvE and PvP to win the Game
- Hunt enemy Heros and Units for a Bounty Reward

-Added 3 new Heros to the game: Assassin(AGI), Slave Master(STRG), Thaumaturge(INT)
-new Assassin hero is a Nightelf Warden, old Assassin hero (the Broken one) was renamed to Bounty Hunter

-Assassin: Fan of Knives, Blink, Hunting Dagger allows the Assassin to hit multiple targets behind the main target in a straight line, Anti-Hero increases the damage against heros
-Slave Master: Slave Mine is similar to the Pocket Factory but will spawn slaves with a range attack and without suicide, Rage increases attack speed but also damage taken, Battle Prowess increase attack damage and grants a chance to evade attacks, Praise Capitalism is similar to Locust Swarm with less Swarm and more durration
-Thaumaturge: Banish, Arcane Barrage hits a set amount of units around the Thaumaturg dealing damage, Meteor Strike throws a meteor at set location stunning enemies, Chrono Reset resets the cooldown of all other abilities

Reworked 6 more Heros: Lich, Paladin, Pit Lord, Dark Knight, Tauren Chieftain, Far Seer

Big Rework: Lich and Dark Knight
-Lich: Siphon Mana, Gripping Cold freezes an enemie immobilizing him and dealing continues damage, Deathfrost Field deals continues AOE damage in target area over a set period of time, Blood Hunt summons two Gargoyls to aid in battle - on level 2 they are able to fly
-Dark Knight: Unleash deals AOE damage around the caster and slows enemy attack rate by 90%, Darkest Night protects friendly units in a small area with a spell shield, Blood Weapon increases life steal by a hugh amount for a short time, the Ultimate "Inside Out" remains the same

Small Rework: Paladin, Pit Lord, Tauren Chieftain, Far Seer
-Paladin: Divine Shield was replaced by Divine Storm dealing AOE damage around the caster
-Pit Lord: Rain of Fire was replaced by Firewall summoning waves of fire rolling in one direction exploding on enemy impact
-Tauren Chieftain: Shockwave was replaced with Ancestral Spirit summoning an Ancestral Spirt with no attack but it can slam the ground for AOE damage and swap its position with the Tauren Chieftain vanishing in the process
-Far Seer: Doomhammer range reduced from 600 to 300

-Added a new Region to every base, if a unit enters the base of another player it will be teleported away


5.8 20.02.2024
-Added a new Unit to the Game: the Zeppelin Merchant
-After the defeat of boss nr. 2, 3 and 4 the Zeppelin Merchant will spawn close to the arena and will roam around the map
-The Zeppelin Merchant can sell Units of all Tiers, sorted by race. You can choose from what race the units will originate but the units themself will be random
-Most Items are now color coded depending on there rarity. From Common to Legendary: Grey, White, Green, Blue, Purple and Orange
-The price for the Random Unit Tokes is now reduced by ruffly 40%



5.7 10.01.2024
-Assassin: Cloak of Shadow changed. Will now grant a short Anit-Magic shield on a short cooldown. Will no longer grant invisibility
-Pristress of the Moon: Searing Arrows will now deal AoE damage
-Royal Deepwater Knight: removed Wind Walk. Added new ability: Blade Strike. Deals damage in a straight line over a great distance
-Shadow Hunter: removed Healing Wave, Serpent Ward and Big Bad Voodoo. Added Voodon't: long lasting DoT with slow and damage. Added Possessed Boomerange: auto-attacks will hit multiple targets. Added Rokhan's Gift: Healing Wave in big, more heal, more wave.

Bugfix: Removed the Flagg of the King item in front of the Red Base. Thanks to Traner for the hint.

5.6 06.09.2023
-Added the King of the Hill Event
-The King of the Hill Event will be triggert when a sells a Win Point and reaches the set amount of Score Points
-This player will earn the Flag of the King Item
-Carry the Flag of the King inside the Boss Arena in the middle of the map to become King of the Hill
-The time needed to win the Game depends on the collected Score Points of each player

-Added new Healing Fountains across the map
-You can buy Lumber for Gold at any store now
-Adjusted the chance for different Unit Tiers across the board for every Town Hall level

5.5.1 13.08.2023
Bugfix: Upgrade the Townhall to Tier 4 now triggers a correct text message to every player
Resolved the Win Point bug that would break the Score Point counter if the Brewmaster or Dark Knight hero got killed inside there ult

5.5 07.08.2023
-Win Points now work differently. Added Small Win Points to the game. Small Win Points will also grant a Score Point but can't finish the game
-All Win Point drops where replaced with Small Win Point drops
-Reaching Town Hall Tier IV or level 10 with a Hero will reward 1 Small Win Point
-Win Points will drop from every Boss Tier III or higher. A Unit carrying a Win Point will be marked with a Gold Mine symbol on the map
-Most Tier Bosses got there damage reduced and are less deadly now

-Lumber use got reworked. Armor/Weapon and Abilite upgrades now cost Lumber. There cost was adjusted accordingly
-Town Hall upgrades now reward a lot more Lumber. Lumber also can be found in the Dungeon and in Lootboxes
-Every Town Hall upgrade will spawn 1 Unit Duplicator in your base. The price for Unit Duplicator where increased to 300 Lumber

-Some Creep Camps will now "respawn" every 15min of game time. These Creep Camps always contain 1 Gold Dragon with a big gold bounty reward

-Standard Heros now display there roll to explain ruffly how they will work
-Tier Heros got more basic stats to align them more with Standard Heros. Tier I +2 to all stats, Tier II +3 to all stats, Tier III +4 to all stats
-Most Hero Abilities got adjusted so no Hero has the same Abilitie hot key twice

-Set new Home Point is now free and will trigger a Text Message aswell as an ping
-The automatic Unit Reroll will now trigger a Ping
-Most Units summend by an item got buffed
-Added a new charged Item: Dowsing. The Dowsing can target any Way Gate to changes its destination to the middle of the Map for 30sec
-Buyback cooldown reduced from 8min to 4min. Buyback now teleports only 6 random Units back into your base

Bugfix:
-Killing your own Hero no longer rewards a Win Point
-T1 Void Walker is no longer a Worker
-Score Chicken can no longer escape the base
-Buyback gold cost should no longer be displayed randomly in the center of the map
-Tinker's Sawblade abilitie can no longer stun indefinitely
-T1 Harbinger Hero abilitie changed from Healing Spray to Summon Lava Spawn

5.4 28.07.2023
-Every Tier Hero from Tier 1 to Tier 3 now has a Ultimate Abilitie availabe at level 6
-Every standard Hero now has an Ultimate Abilitie level 2 availabe at level 10
-Overhaul to many Tooltips for units and abilites
-Lootboxes have there HP reduced by 400 for each state
-Reduced the food gaind for every Town Hall update to 25
-Unit Buildings now have different ground textures depending of there Tier
-Units will no longer walk away instantly after leaving the base because of a move command

-Multiple improvements in Unit and Map Tooltips
-Reduced the AOE suicide damage of multiple Neutral Hostile units
-Moved the Upgrade and Abilite building inside the "old" bases closer together for more visibility
-Decreased the cost of Set Spawn Zone at the Home Stone from 50 Gold to 25 Gold
-The gold cost for Buy Reroll now scales with the Tier of the Town Hall. 25/50/75 and 100 Gold respectively
-Main Heros now profit from Race Armor/Weapon Upgrades and have there Race aswell as there Main Stat displayed in the Tavern at the start of the Game
-Added new Item dropts to Tier IV and V Bosses
-Moved the Mountain Region Teleporter more in the middle of the region.
-Added a standard Shop at the old location of the Mountain Region Teleporter

-Decreased the cooldown from the Town Hall abilitie "Buyback for Gold" from 120sec to 10sec
-Added a new abilitie to the Town Hall: Buyback. No Gold cost for the player but with a 8min cooldown
-Both Buyback abilites now have there cooldown reset if there is no unit inside the Buyback Zone and no gold will be spent
-Added the Ligthning Shild abilite to Shamen Epic and Shamen Hero
-Added the Polymorph abilite to Mage Epic and Mage Hero
-Tier Bosses 1-3 now have Resistant Skin instant of Spell Immunity
-Improved tooltips for unit buildings now displaying possible upgrades and main stat of the hero variant

-Changed some parts of the map to support 8 players.

-These items will add new abilities to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Units when equipped
-To be able to use these abilities every Epiq Unit now has Mana
-These Items can be found in the dungeon area or bought in the new dungeon area exclusive shop
-Every Home Stone on the Map now has a Cycle of Power to highlight its location
-Added a new Teleporter which connects the two mountain areas
-The abilitie from the Tier 3 Necromancer no longer needs a corpse nearby
-Changed the Footman Hero abilitie from Divine Shild to Holy Light
-Players will no longer have a shop at there starting point
-4 shops where added to the forrest area
-The forrest is now more dence and smaller units should no longer be able to pass through some trees

-Added 3 new Heros: Faiere Dragon (Int), Satyr Hellcaller (Agi) and Makrura Tidal Lord (Strg).

-The Nether Drake Ult from the Destroyer Hero is now marked as Undead.
-Reworked all Hero Tooltips for correct information.
-The Map is now completely in English.
-The big Fulborg Creepcamp will no longer trigger a Ping.
-Boss Tier 2 now uses Mirror Image.
-Many Creeps in the start jungle now have Mana, ready to be stolen.
-The Armor and Attack Upgrade from the Upgrade Building are now one. The cost and the cost increase was increased by 25 Gold.
-Reworked many Items in effect and cost.
-Reworked many Camp constalations and some creeps are now random.
-T1 Random Unit Item added to the game.
-Goblin Shop now sells one less T2 Random Unit Item but three charges of T1 Random Unit Items where added.
-Buyback abilitie cooldown reduced from 180 to 120sec. Buyback now costs a fix amount of Gold that will increase over time.
-Opend two new paths in the Dungeon Area.

Bugfix:
When a Hero died to neutral hostile a "Player 25" massage was triggert but not anymore.
Every Boss will spawn with full Mana now.

3.9 19.06.2023
-Tinker Hero: Shredder Tree Abilite replaced with Robo-Turret. Shredder Tree is now by default available and got its mana cost reduced to 10.
-Naga Sea Witch Hero: Tornado Ult replaced with Monsun Ult (Blizzard like abilitie with great AOE).
-Assassin Hero: Cloak of Shadow now deals 40/70/100 backstab damage. Vampiric Potion mana cost reduced to 100. No Escape duration for Normal increased to 360sec.
-Dark Knight Hero(Garritos): Avatar Ult replaced with Inside out. Splitts the Hero in 5 unique units with different abilites. If one of them survives the durration the Hero will be revived.

-All Heros Stat increase was reduced back to the basic amount. Every Stat increase was reduced by half.
-Hero kills with level 6 or higher no longer grant 1 Win Point. Hero kills level 10 or higher now grant 1 Win Point instand of 2. Every Hero kill will now trigger a gloable text massage.
-All Tier Heros now have the same revive time and every Hero now should have a endscreen picture.
-Losing a Unit no longer will trigger a textmassage.
-Multiple Creep Camps where changed or got new abilities.
-A new Shop is added. It can be used to unveil an area or buy a Scout unit aswell as the new Flying Scout unit for Gold.
-The summoning Items for random Tier 2 and 3 Units now have a there replenish time inscreasd by 60sec.
-The Net throw Item now works on Heros.

Bugfix: It is no longer possible to trigger the win condition multiple times by selling more Win Points then needed.

A Secret was added to the Map.

-New Ult for the Destroyer Hero: Nether Drake, summons a Nether Drake that will attack enemys with AOE damage.
-New Tutorial Text for the "Point of Retreat" Farm.
-Town Hall Upgrades now grant +1 Lumber each.
-New Shop Item: Unit Duplicate. Will duplicate any non-hero unit that obtains this item. Will be destroyed on use. Cost: 1 Lumber.

Bugfix: Player 4 Town Hall Tier should be displayd correctly now.

-Loss of vision on active Boss reversed.
-Boss units under attack no longer will trigger a ping.
-Nightelf Battleship Hero is no longer mechanical. Ult mana cost reduced from 15 to 8
-Removed the Burrow abilite from Tier Units (because bugged). Replaced with Invisibility. Similar to the WC3 Sorceress spell but only on self.
-Void Walker-Tier Unit: Cannibalism Abilitie changed to Invisibility.
-Cannibalism Upgrad renamed to Melee T1 Upgrade.
-Improved multiple Tutorial Text's.
-New Tutorial Text for "Buy units here" at unit selling zone.

Bugfix: Problem with AFieldUnit resolved. Player 3 and 4 should now be able to use Base Teleport.

  1. Nice little idea however extensively based on Warcraft III gameplay mechanics.

  3. T2 Turtle didn't want to teleport back to base. I was still on tier 1. Found the turtle as an item. Upgrading to higher tiers didn't fix it. The Overlord from the crate item also didn't teleport.
  4. Not sure if intended but the sell barrel can be destroyed if attacked by multiple units.
  5. Rolled tested like crazy and no T4 units came.
Overall, it's a nice idea but gets monotonous quickly.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Hello!
You forgot to delete Flag of The King from the Player 1 base in 5.6 version of the map.
Overall map is good, but it needs more random events, more unique items, more unique units and heroes.
