Campaign Contest #1 - Free theme

Ok, who is the contact person for this issue?
EDIT:
Glad to hear that your campaign is steadily improving :)
Are you still working alone?
I was not able to make any noticeable changes or new things in the last few days (lack of time in rl) and Palaslayer has barely the time to start with the second chapter.
On the other hand, nearly 90% of all needed systems (planned in our concept) are already created and useable, Palaslayer makes a great job with the terraining, so the only thing to add are the quests and some units xD
Hard enough, keke, but it´s always good to know that you can focuse on such noticeable things after you´ve done all the things and triggers for the background.

And how are the projects of the other participants?

I don't think callahan is a god hahahahaha :D
Maybe a guy with a very strong passion for effort and for his campaign?.
Anyways, the campaign for this competition is only on 3 maps and there is only one quest.
I don't see why that would take years to make, to high goals guys? haha :)

I'm in this campaign aswell and ive already done 3 of em, 2 campaigns, 3 maps in each, tho I can't decide so when I'm done I allways think, arh, I don't like it :p
But yesterday I made a huge insight on what I want to do so I am doing my finals now, I've done 1 out of 3 maps, and I've done all 3 quests for each maps and all the things on it.

Yeah ehum, I wrote everything down, so I am just making it on the computer now :)

But sure more time gives more shaping :)
I will show some WIP .. MAYBE, soon :) Will I or Will I not?
I'm not sure if I want to, feels like spoiling.

Keep on going guys! (A)

I don't think either It's called humor.

Aye haha, by the way i tried on the Campaign, I laughed a very good laugh when I saw you haven't finished it, tho I't was a nice campaign
Tho I saw a misspelling in the loading screen but I guess you don't care and also the campaign screen was very impressive, loved the music and the panda, made me become quite some happy to see.

Why?
well I love the style, and my current campaign project is about a Panda haha, and the overall feeling connected with your campaign screen in high levels.

I wish I could have such a screen with my panda.
And my music, I would be thrilled but I do not know how to do that, I'm not a model editor in any level.

I can do fair looking skins, good maps, terrains, campaigns, spells, cinematics and icons.

Yea any bit of more time is welcome. I am doing the campaign in a realy realy quick time and I am progresing fast and it doesn't look bad but I don't think that I will make it till the deadline. But I am trying very hard.

Like we already said about 20 pages before. And this is going to be like Hive Olympics. Nice ideas but no submittions. So sad.

SCREENS OF THE SECOND CHAP!!!! (rare and exclusive)

now, i just worked on the second chapter, and without paladon's permission (muhahahaha) i want to post some screenshots (i take this risk just for u!), hope u like 'em

I thought it looked fine :)
And also I'm the kind of person not caring TOO much for terrain look, it should be looking good but why BEUTIFUL? ;P maybe that for RPG's or something, yes campaign's need to be very nice but not OMG sooo BEUTIFUL, and besides this is a contest for a very small campaign, I focus my energy mainly on the characters and quest, the more fun the better, then I'll try improve terrain in versions and stuff, I put my goals to a minimum that way I'm sure I'll get to the incredibble some time :D

I realize this is a campaign CONTEST but thinking of the time given on such a small campaign, that should be possible.
I small very well sharpen and fun campaign would win in my opinion than rather an unsharped huge mapped campaigned even if its only 3 maps and focuses so much on terrain and yes all that kind of stuff.

Bowing Out

The deadline is forcing me to churn out crap, which I really don't want to do. I don't get all that much time to work on things as it is. So, I think I'll drop out. If there's an extension, then I might hop back on board, but I won't finish within this deadline.
(I blame him :fp: :pal: )

I suppose I never directly stated what I'm doing. The campaign was "Rise of the Peons: Ukor's Revenge". I might continue it at some point.

But here's some screens of stuff I've done, anyway:

Well, the village is supposed to be kinda plain since they've built there. I use blizzard cliffs because of the time limit. If I finish this campaign, I will probably redo it in a gold version. Right now I'm aming at pretty simple terrain that's playable.

Thx for commenting.

Heres a little storywise:

A clan of ogres in the south have destroyed a few villages in the mountain region. The High King has sent out his Knight Captain in order to end the threat. But this uprising is a larger threat than anyone realizes...
