hm my already has a couple of thousands ^^, so it only triples or sth, my aos has 12500 (at the moment)

Holy shit.. Well I can beat you at everything other with my arena, it had so much work in it that I don't know how much I should take to give other people passwords for playing it.

/sarcasm

Well its really hard work. But its worth terraining and mapping when you see the end result.

Good news! New screenshots available!
The forest & the swamp.
Don´t be afraid, it won´t be totally rpg, it´s more like a mix of standart camapign/rpg.

However, pala and pala will post more informations asap.

EDIT:
Yes, we can. Time to show progress!
I created a Sky System and a Fog System.
The cooperation of both systems allows us to give a realistic day/night feeling.
The systems include the possibility to additionally give a thunderstorm/rain/sunshine/whatever feeling whenever we wish. Let´s see.

No. You can always choose via escape between 4 camera angles. One is the standart wc3 one. Three are something between this and bird perspektive.
I simply like this most.
The terrain looks different if you play it from different angles.

EDIT: Btw, these screenshots are from the same area - no wonders that it looks boring after 10 screenshots of the same place^^

Mouse Control.
Two simple reasons:
1) Arrow control is jerking and not smooth enough.
2) You´ll need the arrows for the dialogue system *ouch!*

Ah and 2nd btw, it´s not the only hero you´re playing^^

Yea I was kinda hoping for mouse control, I saw a lot of good rpgs and campaigns got ruined by arrow controls. I just get tired of it after some time as it is to damn complicated and slow.

You got it. And if you get bored by the perspektive and quick-klicking, you can always change to another, for example the wc one, angle.

so first i wanna quote bountyhunter2

I forgot to add:
- Houses realy don't fit in :/ ( I mean they doo but they look bad I don't know why its just they bother me )
- the yellow shrub in the night picture is too light

if u have a good house model tell me, i searched for them more than half an hour

we cant change the damn shrub color as well ^^

who says that this looks boring... isnt right at all ^^

if u want some ruins, there will be a temple ;)

Hmm I started doing the campaign. It takes place in the world I created for the Ghoul's campaign, anyhow the story goes somehow like this:

On the East Continent once existed a vast Goblin empire Pedelia. Its capitol Pedeliah had lasted over a millenium. But somewhere in the south, a visionarist, named Cahran, who used black magic to conduct numerous experiments, had opened a portal. He was possesed with the spirit of a ancient illusionist, and controled by him he summoned armies of Renevants from the Abys. And city fell and fell, and only one small fort divided the Renevants and the capital Pedeliah. Fort Lihan. This campaign takes place in the 3 days of the defence of Lihan.

I started doing the fort, Screens tomorrow.

first, we use different camerea views, usin s special camera system

second thing, when i finished the terrain in map one, paladon will do the rest while i already make the one in map two

i think as far as i know at the moment that map one is the biggest part of work because you will play that map most, and the terrain is mostcomplicated

when the systems are done u will have to import them into the other maps only, nothing more

thx @ kyrbie, i do my best to create a realistic terrain and surrounding for the gameplay, atm i have 1/4 of the first map done, working at the seconds part at the moment, if i go on like this i can finish it by the end of next week, and i think we have a month left then ^^

so their might be good chances for us to finish the campaign before edit-time runs out

stay tuned

palaslayer

EDIT: @ kyrbie

ya'rly! can u send me the link to this? i forgot where to find it...
