The Kings of The Hill

is a 3v3v3v3 hero arena in which each team tries to maintain control over the Hill by being inside of it, and keeping enemy heroes outside of it. The hill is an area marked with a closed square yellow crown.

At start, Player 1 decides the settings

- How much time to play?
- What is the hero respawn time?
- How much points every 5 seconds per hero inside the Hill
- Are Items allowed?
- Are creeps Allowed?
- What is the creep respawn time
- What is the time between when the hill relocates?
After that each player can pick his hero from 6 available

- Healer
- Warrior
- Hunter
- Assassin
- Support
- Mage
How it works?

- You score points by staying inside the Hill area.
- The hill is always visible to everyone
- The scored points are multiplied by the number of team members inside the Hill and awarded every 5 seconds
- If there is more than one team inside the Hill, nobody gets awarded points.
- Units who are invisible thanks to an item, or an ability are no considered part of the hill, unless they become visible
The result of the game is announced when

- one of the teams reaches the maximum points
- The game time runs out

- Killing enemy heroes also awards gold
- Maximum level 100
- Each hero has 4 hero abilities and 2 normal
Usable commands

* Press 'Esc' to get out of the graveyard, inside of it, or select your hero
* -clear command to clear the chat
* -settings command to see what the host set as rules for the game

It's a really nice concept. Too bad it's so old school gameplay mechanics (heroes and all). I think you could definitely add some more stuff going on or game modes like wandering creeps or whatever you'd think makes sense. Approved. If you want...

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

The concept is not new, and I don't know what you mean by old school mechanics.
