Totally Accurate Warcraft Battle Simulator: The Chronicles of the First Era:
This is a battle simulator in the warcraft realm for completely no other reason than pure fun.

One player is the host who will have access to a few chat commands to set up a battle.
When a battle has started, those who participate in the battle must place units until they are done.
Then they send them to war with the builder unit and as soon as all players have sent their units to war, the battle will begin.

Chat Commands:
  • -help : shows the general commands
  • -camHelp : shows the camera commands
  • -clear : clears the screen of messages
  • -showPlayers : shows all the current players in the game (including race and gold)
  • -camReset : resets the camera settings to default
  • -angleOfAttack #value : sets the angle of attack to the given value
  • -farZ #value : sets the angle of attack to the given value
  • -fieldOfView #value : sets the field of view to the given value
  • -roll #value : sets the roll to the given value
  • -rotation #value : sets the rotation to the given value
  • -targetDistance #value : sets the target distance to the given value
  • -zoom #value : sets the target distance to the given value
  • -zOffset #value : sets the height offset to the given value
Host-Only Commands:
  • -setGold #amount : sets the available gold to the given number (-setGold 12345)
  • -setPlayerGold #player #amount : sets the current gold of a certain player to the given number (-setPlayerGold 1 12345)
  • -start random 1v1 : starts a 1 versus 1 match with random players (same for 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and 6v6)
  • -start battle # # # vs # # # : starts an x versus x match with the given players (teams dont have to have the same number of players)
  • -forceStart : starts the current battle without having to wait for all players to send their units to war
  • -stop : stops the current battle
  • -resetRace : resets the races to be able to pick other races
  • -setHost #player : sets the host to the given player

    I might have to use lower poly models though.
    We did a game with 100k gold... then we saw the poly limit being reached (which basically messes up the entirety of your view).
    Luckily, the catapults came in pretty fast.

    I played this multiplayer over battle.net.
    Nothing happens after picking races. There was just an empty map with no units or any quest log to help you out.

    I guess you didnt read the General Information at the top.
    "One player is the host who will have access to a few chat commands to set up a battle."
    The host has to create a battle. A battle can be of any number of players and with different settings.
    You can use the -help command to see what commands there are.

    Hmm.
    This would could be solved in a better way.
    Neither me or the other player saw this. I think it would be useful to be displayed in game too. or perhaps an easy interactive system to set up the game?

    I think I'll give the host a message (I think there is only a message that he knows he is the host) to tell him to start a match and use -help to see all commands.
    Maybe also give a message to the other players that they have to wait for the host to start a match.
