This is the Feralas test map that appeared in my YouTube video 2 years ago. This was the first video of what later led to the invention of "Shelly the Elf" as a character:

Playing this map requires a WC3 / WoW hybrid client because it references feralas terrains and WoW 0.5.3 doodads that aren't present in a Wc3 install by default.

NOTE: In the linked video above, the character WASD movement was using single-player-only async movement, which meant that it could more perfectly emulate how playing World of Warcraft might feel. If you go onto my GitHub and download the code for WASD movement on Warsmash, it will feel clunkier than this because it is using a Warcraft III unit for the player hero, and using synchronous movement that supports multiplayer and combat with the Warcraft III emulator units. So you might have a "worse" experience because of this tradeoff unless you dig very deeply into the Git history in the version control.

Set to Lacking as it's fringe requiring stuff which can't easily be accessed by regular Warcraft III players, thus being more akin to a mod than a map/template. If you want more reviews, you should participate in the The Grand Review Exchange! R U...

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

No hate intended, but there is nothing on the import manager. The whole map is red.
Per the map description:

There was not ever a time that I had a version of the map with all of the doodads and terrain inside the map itself. I could construct that for you if you like, but the WASD movement would still be missing. Is it helpful to you if I prepare a version of the map that plays on some Warcraft 3 version, even if the WASD movement for the hero isn't working?

On behalf of curious users, yes please.
