The hammer doesnt even dent it. The slicer holds up an image device showing one of the hackers. Hacker: "Flooka nekeo ahahal nook." Translation: We've hacked the system and found the blueprints. The slicer nods and a schimatic opens up. He walks up to the door and yanks a claw out. He skins a section of a door and a handle appears. He turns it and the doors open. They continue their march.

OOC: Yes, I ought to enjoy this as well... Cause, if the Kraken was smart, he'd be able to warp out of the nebula, but he may have used the idea to create a "rip in space" device. So... if he can warp out, he'll want to, and thus begin my epic campaign of hunting it down! >:D

IC: Meanwhile, the cruiser appears outside the Shakuras Defence Fleet, and after codes are transmitted, as well as cargo details, the samples are offloaded to transports that would carry the samples to the Del'Kara lab, where they would be analyzed and tested, and scientists could figure out how it works.

OOC:
OOC: Kraken vs the Holis biometal beings starting in a system near you.
nice! so, after my battle with it perhaps? :p I'm hoping to one day be able to kill the creature, and thus be able to have it for studying. Or, take a risk and subdue it with lots and lots of drugs to put it to sleep, so I can study it that way :p

A red portal opened and a wolf like creature walked out. Then a three head dog flowed after. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, kill the poor people. The dog showed a smile and plasma drooled out. It attacked the planet cracker with pleaser. The Cerebus fired plasma at the kraken. We are gods, Bow down to us or die. The message was heard in the ships.

so..... you boarded my mining ship.... Well, they aren't exactly poor. You see, every single worker on that ship, due to the purposes of the ship, are trained in combat! >:D

IC: The workers grabbed their weapons, being part of the military, those who had the chance, got their suits on, and soon, weapons blazed as they fired at the 3 headed dog and its "owner", at least, until the section was placed on lockdown.

OOC: I really have to ask... how do you just open a portal on my ship, and logically sick a 3 headed dog on my people. I mean, my idea of Planet Cracker workers being military personell isn't on the spot. I have had it for the entire summer. So I really have to question your method and timing of the attack, knowing that the Planet Cracker poses the largest threat to the monstrosity, if it goes down, your going with it. Besides, its in a whole different language, so you wouldn't really be able to take control. :p

But... I really have to ask... where exactly is this? Rereading your post, you attack the Kraken... but are on my Planet Cracker? How exactly does this work? And... your attacking both the planet cracker, AND the Kraken??? Your post seems out of line and confusing...

Send forth my servants...The Cherubim shall smite them.

It is time, to raise the shield of my respite.

And so it was that the docking bays opened, and nine million cherubim servants flooded out from its holds, and swerved gracefully as any Laminari weapon through the void of space, moving to and fro betwixt the beams, and missiles, slicing them with their blades as their pale bio-steel bodies ripped through space with speed and agility towards the planet cracker!

The cherubim soon set their glassy eyes upon it, and all nine million let forth a heart chilling, death singing battle cry, like a chorus of wailing ghosts on all channels...

Their silver wings spread and then folded against their bodies, wrapping around them like a shield, as they burst forth with white-hot speed and swarmed around the cracker, spinning around its hull as beams of burning light "The Flaming Sword", barraged against its quivering shell, some of the cherubim fell upon it, crushing it inward, slightly denting it as they landed in majesty, cutting, and stabbing away with their swords! Screaming with their wailing voices on all channels, cold robotic voices calling for death, and blood...

The Kraken then set his warp drive to send him forward, he raised his tentacles and flung ships out of his way as he seemed to wade across the nebulous sea, and stretched forth his bio-steel 'hand' to grasp the cracker...so tiny it was compared to his seething, and raging body! Driven by the warp wave that carried his monstrous form!

RAAAAAGH! I come for THEE!

He screamed in the ancient tongue, his cold voice boomed on all channels amidst the wails of his lesser children.

He struck forth a tentacle and bashed it against the side of a large ship that stood in his way, nearly breaking it in half, and sending its wreck sideward. His massive girdle of debris followed his gravitational pull, smaller ships began to suck into his orbit, cherubim who encircled him ripping their swords through their 'faces', as they encircled him.

He began to wrap the rest of his tentacles about him, forming a hard, weaved shield above his surface and sealing them together, with pulse-shields on full.

Still he strode onward to meet the Cracker, two large gatherings of tentacles still bashing ships out of his way, while the third reached forth to go for the 'throat' to tear it apart!

ADDENDUM: 'Faces' to the cherubim, who are rather childlike, are the cockpits of the fightercraft. The cherubim are essentially 'fighters', but they are like bio-metal gundams, only smaller, and not drivable. They are all advanced Laminari AI who's prime service is to be 'guards', they are the first soldiers in the fleet of a Monstrosity's repitoire. There are usually 9 million in the 'choir' (legion).

They have two weapons: A literal blade, and a ranged weapon of highly intense light (a particle beam/laser) "The flaming sword".

They have a pair of wings also, that are extremely hard, and yet flexible, and contain within it the pulse-shield mechanisms.

The Cherubim were originally designed after the servants of Laminad, Angels who guard his throne.

The Cherubim are forged together in the Monstrosity's forge, as are the rest of his servants.

OOC: ^_^ moon sized ships are very roomy, and their docking bays are lovingly stocked over the centuries of waiting ^_^

I hope the cold wailing of ghostly death will stifle your hopes into dread and fear! ;p Like Nazgul they call for your death...

OOC: The Bios are out side in space. Their like the krakin but with the life and brains of Holis creation. The Cerebus can telepathically talk to others. And your were next to the attack point of the Blood army. Any more questions need explaining.

OOC: He isn't 'like' the Kraken...the Kraken is a "World Event" not playable by characters or races. I'm just playing him as a 'boss' or as a 'creep' of sorts, a plot device really. :p

And bio-steel is a unique creation to the Laminari, and their race....It is infact, specifically what makes them 'special', and not to mention 'elf like'.

Not to mention the Kraken is like...a moon...your three headed dog spit isn't going to A) reach very far, B) phase me. He's a dog, and if he got inside, he'd be ripped to shreds. If you think the outer defenses are tough, wait til you see the insides. And then that is just the first layer, the Core itself is exceedingly defended, and surrounded by heavy armour, and the throne of the AI (Kraken himself) is even more so...as is the Interface Hall (the massive computer system that wraps around the core and through it like blood vessals), and the Forge. And you've only seen the Cherubim servants...*foreshadows*

OOC: "plasma forged" makes no sense...Plasma should melt it if anything. You can't forge something 'in plasma', you can 'use' it...like a very, very, very tiny plasma cutter...but that would be exceedingly horrible and tedious...cell, by cell.

And no, your steel is NOT like mine, I really, really, really, don't like you taking ANCIENT laminari (and I mean exceeeedingly ancient) technology, that is specifically what makes the Laminari special...just off the fly, and saying:

"Its different, because it is 'plasma' forged, but really it is the same thing"

Nano steel should be the closest thing you can get to, the Laminari have been working with Bio-Steel as their basis since...eons ago, that is their 'metal', the root of their technology. It is 'their plastic', their 'steel', their 'iron'...

Biosteel is formed in special vats and forges, where the cells are grown, and genetically altered to obtain an extremely hard, and dense shell of a mithril like metal, and they 'grow' and they split and they form these shells like snails, they are 'cellulose' cells. You can't plasma forge them. And a tiny device is formed inside of them to create a 'pulse' shield, that helps to enhance the pulse-shield devices outside of the cellulose shell. This device also acts as a small computer that allows it to link up with the interface, and the AI's command, allowing for it to be controlled. For all intents and purposes, laminari ships are 'alive'. And that is 'high technology' to obtain something so complicated. It involves messing with life itself! And practice. And the Holis would not have obtained such a thing, the Laminari would not have allowed it, being atleast as old as the Holis themselves.

SoL, just leave our ideas and yours separate.
Now, IF you captured a sample of said Bio-Steel, you could try to reforge some, but it would take forever to perfect the process.
That being said, you HAVEN'T captured any, therefore you CAN'T forge it.
/end argument.
P.S. Elenai's right about the plasma-forging. Plasma burns. Lots. That's why it's a weapon.

OOC: 'what transport'? There isn't any on a Monstrosity. And like I said, getting near it would be suicide at any rate, I have a feeling that gathering samples of it would be exceedingly dangerous, as you'd have to literally pick a cell off of it, and well...we all know how dangerous this Kraken is, having sent an imperial fleet retreating twice.

On a special note: This Kraken is I may also add, but one of many, and it is a young monstrosity so to speak. There are veteran monstrous beasts who obtained full girdles before the pathway in their region was abandoned still awaiting out in the Nebulae of unsuspecting regions deep in space. Whom are even deadlier, and more watchful, if this is a reckless, and not so wise lion whelp...there are others who are far more cunning and vicious..and some who are actually 'bigger'.

After a few hours of searching Amenon sent another transmission to Kamica. "I would no want my people to panic over part of the Ugrentien fleet not returning. I am sorry but I have to go." He issued the order for a return home and directed the fleet into the pervious wormhole heading home.

yes... all 15 feet of it... of course your only going to dent it XD

Just think! His hulls are burninable! He is using fuel as a shield! XD Its like using gasoline on your tank to keep enemies from climbing on due to its slipperiness! XD Its just a fire waiting to br lit! >:D

That being said, you HAVEN'T captured any, therefore you CAN'T forge it.
For example, I have acquired some detached, carbon samples of the material. But, you won't see in used in military tech any time soon. First, the scientists have to examine it, tear it apart, figure out how it works, figure out how its built and made, and go through thousands upon thousands of tests before even making an acceptable copy, not to mention remaking the technology. Besides, it won't even go commercial, cause they have to figre out a way to control it and not have other systems affecting other samples/devices. (no mixing signals, resulting in controlling eachother's stuff that uses it. So, in short, no military use, no commercial use. Just science for now :p)

IC: Urgghhk... *The admiral growled. The comms were being spammed by these "songs" and he had no way of quick communication to the fleet. But then, he realized, and gave the order. Soon, flashing lights were giving the command as the light turned on and off. And, with their orders given, and the Monstrosity looming ahead, the Planet Cracker warped out, rushed through with doom closing in on them. The rest of the fleet watched, and broke off from the beast, and remaining drones either pulled into their hangers, or dragged beam sentries into cargo/landing bays. And soon, the fleet broke off, and fled for safer distances from the monstrosity. So far, due to the slower pace of the Monstrosity, they were getting further and further away. The beams had done their job. The bombs and missiles had done their job. The drones, too, had done their job. Now, it was time for the fleet to make a tactical retreat. But, they left a present for the Kraken, a cluster of shells, floating in space. The admiral would enjoy getting the readings from it, and to finally test the effects on the nebula.

The shadows stop at a corner and take up a defensive position, looking around the corner for a suprise with a little mirror. The slicer looks over at his comrads and nods. A few seconds later he dissapears, gunfire is heard on the otherside of the wall as well as blood splatter and screams of terror.

"Understood, rescue vessles are arriving, thank you for your help, It's realy appreciated" Kamica responded.

Meanwhile, in the Shantaron home system, a strange small object, about a meter in diameter, of an unknown material entered the system, heading for the home planet

OOC: Gath, I suggest you scan it or something =3)

The Kraken was pleased as the saw the fleet retreating from him, he swung his free tentacles back at the retreating fleet as 'an act of defiance' or 'victory', almost as if he were shaking his fist at them. His gravitational pull brought in many wrecks for his girdle, and his cherubim were called back, bringing large chunks of metal and debris to be recycled in his forge, before returning to the holds.

He slipped quietly into the deep nebula, where the clouds were thickest, and the waves were harshest, where communications on any channel were garbled or even useless, and the flitting twists of ethereal energies engulfed him in a safe womb. Wreckage in his girdle began to pop, and sizzle, as still 'living' electronic devices were fried in his self seclusion within the deepness of the nebula's treacherous electro-magnetic waves.

He sent out his servants to help heal him.

They went out, and began to cover his pitted and cracked outer skin with seeds, and quickly they sprouted, covering his hull with a new shell, thicker and calloused.

He began to ponder ways of protecting himself, and guarding himself. And new methods of warfare.

I must make a stronger shield for my body, and stronger servants, and forge better blades...

He said to himself.

yep. besides, it would be cheap if I destroyed it early on. I need to find a way to overpower it, and make it feel weak! >:D Besides... it has overlooked/ignored one detail..... >:)

IC: *The fleet maintained a safe distance, and the order was given. The cluster of shells burst to life, their engines blazing. As they whiped every which way, they soon were given course corrections, and shot towards the monstrosity. Thus was the use of this cluster of nuclear warheads, (more powerful, since a Planet Cracker bomb can rip a planet apart from the core, and yes, there are some of those in this cluster :p) against a fearsome opponent. A final attack before heading back to look over the data from the previous attacks to determine a proper strategy. The missiles, bombs, spreading out, shot off towards the Monstrosity, aiming to cripple a good part of it.

OOC; I, after some thought during posting this, came up with a way to weaken the monstrosity, that, looking at how it operates, might just work if not enrage it :p Well, we shall see how this goes...

IC: The admiral realizes a pattern in the Monstrocity's actions, and realizes that tere may be a way to defeat it or cripple its threat level easily. When he got back to Shakuras, he would talk to the council about the proposal.

OOC: Silly Var, I didn't look over it, you overlooked an important detail :p

He slipped quietly into the deep nebula, where the clouds were thickest, and the waves were harshest, where communications on any channel were garbled or even useless, and the flitting twists of ethereal energies engulfed him in a safe womb. Wreckage in his girdle began to pop, and sizzle, as still 'living' electronic devices were fried in his self seclusion within the deepness of the nebula's treacherous electro-magnetic waves.

I'm basically in an impenetrable shield of static and EMP fields :p

These nuclear shells are but duds in the water encircling my girdle...fried, and sizzled. Basically just pods of useless radiating uranium waste :p

She walks around the corner calmly, almost as if waiting to be shot at, yet drops the hammer to the ground (as if leaning on it) and examines the area. Seeing the dead people with the Slicer standing over them, she decides taking point would be a bit better for her.

Not sure, but at any rate, if they are impact detonated I think the Cherubim would be eager to rid them of existence, when they all 'drift suscpiciously' creating what the AI would see as an environmental alert, similar to the original attack. (the very first one)

OOC: Well, they are special nukes of sorts, a bit stronger, since the Cracker Bombs are used on the cores of planets to rip them apart for strip mining risky areas. :p But, for conventional purposes, they have a remote detonation able to be used (military purposes really, against fast targets that zip circles and triangles around them lol) but also, in the case that one tries to cause a chain reaction of detonations before the bombs/missiles have reached their targets (hacking missiles and bombs Oo and thus guiding them back, or EMP (yes, I had already developed this and used this method in other RPs)) they can have a impact detonation. With this system, duds are extremely rare, and, where they were, they would have been outside the dense cloudscape, and thus operable. But now that they are in the cloudscape, the electronics are shorted, and they have to rely on a uncertain impact detonation, without guidance correction or dodging, or engine increase. So... it's almost a nuclear free-for-all with these shells :p

In short, when I think of technologies for the Black Sun empire, I try to work out the kinks, and make them as efficient as possible. Duds scare people slightly, in the case they do go off, but epic WMD are more effective :p Nothing like bueatiful blue rings of destruction to scare your enemies back under their rocks :p

As for Tahril's question... I'm not quite sure, since nobody likes nuclear recipes out and about, with a little alien touch to the ones Black Sun uses :p

The scene was one of utter chaos burning debris and floating bodies blanketed the void around the Shantaron home system. As the small object rounded the hollow shell of a ruined ship a clear view of the Shantaron home planet could be seen. A great monstrosity with tenticles moving fluidly around it like an impenetrable cacoon stood in orbit around the planet. Thousands of ships spun around it bombarding it with great rays of plasma only to be swatted away like flys. Giant beams of energy patruded from the ship slamming into the planet unseen from space but on the surface oceans boiled and magma flowed from unnatural cuts in the planet's crust. The planet was being slowly destroyed. Another hunk of debris blocked the view as a ship raced by fleeing the terror its cargo bay opened engulfing the object into its hull and sped off. Several soldiers surrounded the object their wolflike faces barely visable in the dim lighting. They began to observe and used scanners to scan the object.

OOC: So basically the 'duds' (explodable only on imapact) are just floating in my orbit for the time being? My girdle seems to have become dangerous...luckily I'm so deep in the clouds that ships can't reach me without completely disabling, or basically becoming 'dead in the water', so maybe I'll be able to figure out what to do for an epic story, or an escape...or reverse...>_> <_<

At any rate, it is a nice time out for the Kraken.

OOC: lol yes, and in the meantime, I can deal with other problems, and find a good way to execute my plans. I realize at the moment, I'm the coyote trying to catch the road runner. I have all this technology, and here I am, trying to catch it, not destroy it if I can. Black Sun doesn't know there are hundreds of thousands. They have been lucky so far not to have discovered any in their controlled nebulas. But still, it IS time for a break from the Kraken scene :p After a couple more posts :3

The object seemed to be a ball of a strange metal, scans showed there being one lifeform inside, however, also the outer shell appeared to be biological, then the ball opened up so to say, and showed a humanoid in armor.

OOC: First he was curled up and the armor had shaped as a ball, now the armor shaped back to a normal armor and Lonai is lying flat on his back)

The wolf men gasped in sheer horror. One barked out orders and they ripped him from his position and began to drag him all the while flails awaited behind. They dragged him through the ship to a sort of glass like chamber and threw him in. They sent one off and began to stare at him.

OOC: Bye. I'm leaving my races and might post my last one before I leave. I'm angry and taking a break.

Var, I give you back the North'throdir. Here's their plan find the ring, restore the holis.
Gath or Elenai, One of you will take the holis. Here's their plan, take over the universe.

The reason for anger is of this tread with life's cruel plans. Don't worry I won't kill anyone.

OOC: so..... you are leaving the RP due to your personal life? The North'throdir are currently prisoners of sorts, and I don't really want to have to control the prisoners that are being kept in nice quarters, or war prisoners of any other race... I made the race for you, they are yours.
