Snake Information

"Yes they do. Every animal sleeps. The only thing is that you can't tell whether a snake is sleeping because they have no eyelids. Also, depending on species, it could hibernate for a few months also. To encourage a feeling of safety and a place to rest, you should always have a place in the cage for the snake to hide."

Personal Knowledge: Cold weather makes them drowsy and think they need to 'hibernate', too cold and they will die although I'm not sure they'll realise as they'll be in a state simlar to a coma?

King Cobras and most other snakes are active during the day and sleep at night, due to the temperature (cold/night/drowsy).

So in game terms don't go to Karthek Inkita is perfect.

Finally getting a hold of consciousness and eyesight, Zarion asks the only girl of the crowd. "I'm sorry if I interrupt you. But, may I ask where am I?".

Akador watched them and sighed. He wasn't that much interested in the boy anyway.
How the boy managed to have her tell about her past so easy was a mystery for him.
He thought of what the Elf just said.

Alyssia turned to the bo, she was blatently confused at his words "You-", she began only to swing round at the sound of another voice, she raised an eyebrow ever so slightly, seeig it to be non-other than the unknown elf. He asked where they were.
"Antika, in Inkita", she replied softly, returning her gaze to the boy and walking inside, still wondering what he had meant; 'You're not lost, you've just never found home...'.

The boy turned to akador. "you recived my message." he said, indicating errily towards the pocket that held the stone...

Elvor were sitting in the garden, enjoying the sounds of his little jungle.
Behind him Elizra was playing around with some firefly, trying to catch the swift insect.
Elvor smiled, and let out a long sigh.
"These... adventurers.
They all have something special about them.
The girl doesn't even seem to know it." Elvor said, talking to himself and Elizra.
He thought abit about what he had just said, then answered his own unsaid questions.
"You know as well as me, that i usually take everything in my own hands.
But i have a feeling that these adventurers are too important in... whatever plot is going on, to just ignore.
I have a feeling that they will prove great allies."
Again, he thought what he had just said over.
"Hmm... I have to get them some better equipment."

The boy stood after saying that, walking to elvor.

"You are a mage of water. You are very powerful. But beware, the tides are changing."

He said, innocently.

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor smiled.
"Usually i am the one turning the unpleasent tides."
He said, smiling.
"Though i am aware that something rather big is coming in, and that all of us Shevaen have to be prepared."

"you do not understand, Elvor," he said speaking his name as if elvor was an old accuaintance. "The shadows are rising. Great powers, that have stood still for millenia, are shifting. The eyes of the gods have found this group of adventurers. You must beware, the lord of intika has fallen." He said this a voice so strange, it could only be descibes as prophecy... the suddenly, he became normal.

"I do not belive i have introduced myself." he continued calmly. "I Am Lord-Emperor Urak."

 

[Dragonson]

"A pleasure to meet you, Urak."
Elvor said calmly.
"But i am not really sure what it is you are saying.
With, "The Lord of Inkita", do you then mean the great lord of the sea?"

What food is laid out? I would just assume that there is some kind of meat there, but if your elves are vegetarian then making that assumption would be problematic.

He walked inside the grand palace, or rather, sprinting.

OOC: There's fruit baskets all around the house, but there's all kinds of food in the dining hall.
Also: Elvor lives alone.
He has no servants.

The boy nodded.

"You need me more than you can imagine, for i am somthing to you, that without, you would be powerless. I, and my brothers, are the source of all magic, elvor. The evil seeks to turn us into power cells for his dark engines. this is what you must know. some of my brothers are hiding, but most have been captured."

He paused looking into elvor eyes. "I am the source of all of your power Elvor. Me." he finished.

Elvor looked very confused, and quite baffled.
"So... you are... One of the Sons? One of the children of the sea?"

"I Am." he said simply... "I am suprised you did not regonize my name.

OOC: the stone was his message, the one fuss saw falling from the sky.

Suddenly, Akador arrived at the dining hall. He mumbled something when he saw the fruit and sat down, eating it.

Elvor didn't smile any longer.
"That is becouse i thought all of your kind was dead."

"No. the gods, or... whatever...." he said, somwhat mournfully.... "Created a new generation of us...."

Alyssia stood listening intently to the conversation, unable to leave the boy's side. She appeared fascinated by all the relevations although a small crease had appeared upon her brow, indicating some level of confusion.

OOC: Dead-Man, sorry didn't reply, thought the RP had advanced to much + you were offline.

"I see." Elvor said.
"It makes slightly more sense now."
He stood up and started walking around in circles, clearly pondering the situation.
He then turned around and faced Urak again.
"How many others are there?"

"I don't know. There are many. i was close with fifeen of my brothers. but there are may more. but they are all sources for different things. my closest brother is a Son of Fire..." he said. An then turned to Alyssa and explained everything (so far) to her in her native tounge.

Alyssia was speechless, she had never heard of a non-kyrrin speaking such fluent Nithaen.
She was grateful nonetheless, thanking the boy for the courtesy.
"Fascinating... more of you?", she mused, having reverted to the common tongue.

Elvor shook his head.
"This is truly a dire situation."
He then turned to the boy once again.
"You have to stay safe, boy.
Do you understand the importance of that?"

"I do, and i am thankful that you rescued me." he said to elvor.

"yes, there are many more like me, although we are all uniqe, and represent somthing different." he said. His entire arm suddenly turned to clear water. and he reached out ad grasped Alyssa's hand, looking at her. "You WILL find your home, i am shure of it." he said, smiling. his eyes seemed ot flash." Suddenly he looked around and gulped. "ELVOR!" he yelled pointing into a corner where shadows, not three but ten, materialized....

He heared the yell from afar and he sighed.
He looked at the food and stood up, sprinting towards the source of the sound.
Such a yell was not very normal..

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor noticed the shadows.
Though instead of terror or dispair, he laughed.
"You may be too powerfull for me normally, shadows,"
He said, while walking in between the shadows and the boy.
"But not here! Not in Alentika!"
With that, he pulled out a great horn and blew it, summoning the Mage Council and the members of the Warrior Caste to his aid.

The shadows laughed, and a strange black cloaked one waked fourth... the 11th...

"I am no shadow, elvor of the council of mages." his voice reverberated across the chamber. it sounded like a meat grinder crossed with and earthquake and a bit too much magic... ((Waaay eviler and cooler than darth malak))

"I am a black shade."

OOC: everyone in the part knew what a black shade was. a monsterous spirit that fed on magic and could cast spells past most average mages with a flick of his finger... he had but one weakness... his heart. it cannot touch him, it will die if it passes fifty feet away from its heart.

Alyssia's shook her hand free of the boy's watery grasp and put her arms round him protectively, why she had no idea... it just felt right.
"Come with me", she urged, indicating that he let the other's do the fighting.
"Inside...".

OOC: Flat just looked at your WIP, I'm backing out

Niador finally arrived at the place.
He grabbed his spear and examined the shadows.

"A black shadow?"
Elvor said, on his guard now.
"How did you get past the city shield barriers?"

"hahahaha!" he laughed. "it is no matter. give us the sea-child and the girl and we will spare your life."

His face suddenly turned into a smile.
''Never.'' he simply said, with a dark voice.

 

[Dragonson]

A sinister smile flashed over Elvor's face.
"You threaten me on my life? You might want to re-think that."
Elvor said, and as he said that, Elizra walked over to a position behind him.
"I have been killed by worse beings than you, shade. Bring it on!"

 

[Gyrosphinx]

Shurg almost fell from his chair when he heard the chilling voice of the Shade. He grabbed his axe and ran to the site.

"Me!?", Alyssia asked, both shocked and horrified at this new revelation. She tightened her grip around the boy, "Never... My L... Life is my own, I will... do w.. with it... what I will!", she screamed.

 

[The World Is Flat]

OOC: so it was good? fanks... i was abit concerned it might be really crappy....

"ahahahahhaha." he laughed evilly. "you very well know that i do not operate in this fashon." and with that, he revealed a boy behind him, with red skin, red eyes, and his hare was not hair at all, but flame....

"Vijn!" Urak yelled.

The shade laughed.

"had over the boy or i wil-"

The council teleported in, with a massive warrior caste guard...

Alyssia stood frozen, rigid. Arms locked around Urak. Her face perfectly, expressionless, like a great carving.

With this distraction Akador stormed forward in great speed.
As he arrived he tries to impale the shade.

OOC: Is he actually materialized or..?

OOC: His heart is not in his body. :S

IC:
Elvor, not smiling yet, ordered the Mages and Warriors to surround the shade.
"Shade, do not try ANYTHING with that boy!"
Elvor shouted.
"We are too many for you.
We can easily block any kind of magic you might try.
You are trapped."

OOC: no, he is liek the shadows, the only way to hurt him at all is to stab hiss heart.

the shade looked around.

"hmmm. fine then, my master will have you all killed!" the thing yelled, and they all dissapeared, including the flaming boy.

Exo came out of the palace just in time to see the shadows disappearing "whateh... they followed us all the way here?" he looked a bit shocked tough hid it rather well.
