Personal Knowledge: Cold weather makes them drowsy and think they need to 'hibernate', too cold and they will die although I'm not sure they'll realise as they'll be in a state simlar to a coma?
King Cobras and most other snakes are active during the day and sleep at night, due to the temperature (cold/night/drowsy).
So in game terms don't go to Karthek
