OOC: haha, that's imaginative
EDIT: Does SoLmaster still rp in this!? Or has his character faded out of existence
-> Added the below "IC" to get us rolling again, it'll help dragonson know our current positions, "hopefully". It follow's on from this... P.S sorry if I missed anyone from the party, I don't "think" I did... I also listed them all so I could express Alyssia's feelings towards each one and develop her characteristics in general.
Alyssia wasn't long, she came back to the courtyard with dripping hair and a clean face, "No food", she said apologetically to Shurg. She sat down next to the boy and asked of the group, "anything?".
IC:
When no one answered, Alyssia sighed and stared down at the boy, immediately wishing she hadn't; for his eyes met and held, her own. Just like before... She was drawn to them. It was like looking into a dark lake, staring at an object for hours on end, trying to determine what it is, there was something about them, about
him - that held her attention so well.
"Urak", she breathed, her voice edged with awe.
The boy wasn't in a much different position than herself, he was young, lost and apparently a long way from home, one he was
forced to flee from. A bird's mating call rang through the air, breaking the ambient silence and her focus on the boy. Looking round she saw the rest of the party in calm conversation or pacing around the courtyard, some alone, some in pairs. There were quite a few... she hadn't know any of them for any decent length of time. But had she ever known anyone, other than Hyrai? Perhaps that was why she already considered some of them friends... For most of her life, she had intentionally avoided interaction with her own people, preferring a simple life, one of solitude and self-preservation.
Shurga, the Ramorughaur. Though they had spoken very little, a bond had formed between them, she knew that. He came to her aid, several times, risking his own life for a girl he'd never met, why she had no idea. I fear I will be unable to return the favour, she thought.
Exo, the dragon-man, a bit hot-headed, but a skilled fighter none-the-less, she had never seen or heard of his kind and wasn't sure she really wanted to, he was an unknown entity, she liked him, but didn't trust him.
The mechanical man stood at the edge of the courtyard administrating repairs to his broken body, another unknown, she had no opinions on him.
Then there was Akador.. prince of the Niador, Alyssia had her doubts about him, but they were slowly fading away, he seemed nice enough. What his motives were though, she did not know.
The elven mage was missing, as was the serpent. Both had been forthcoming with aid and seemed liked they knew more than they'd ever let on, Alyssia could relate to that... she had her own secrets after all.
Another elf stood loitering by the palace gardens, she'd missed this one earlier, had he been there all along?
She had never even heard of all these races in her life, let alone seen them together and she was now anxious for events to transpire... but what would she do now? Or what would
they do now? Only time would tell... she let her gaze drop, focussing once again, on Urka and his cold, jaded eyes.
