"fire magic might avoid you elf but it's aura should pass even trough water magic, this golden flame. it is not fire, it is a dragons pure energy of hearth. you should be able to let it come to you, allow it in your hearth." he then closed his eyes en tried once again to meditate.

OOC: Hope it's ok that it's night now... (I'll delete if it isn't..)

Alyssia woke to nothing. It was dark, the sun having retreated, giving the moon it's turn in the sky. For a moment she thought she might have actually died, but slowly she began to pick out the forms of her fellow captives and all the events of the past few months flooded back. The branding, the beating, the crawling, a boat and then chains... and pain. So much pain. Her mouth was numb now, she brought up her left hand and massaged her jaw slowly, it didn't appear to be broken - that was a relief.

Slowly she edged herself up the hay pile into a seating position, simultaneously sweeping her filthy hair out of her eyes and behind each ear. For the first time in a while, she didn't feel threatened. She knew the Ramorughaur could be trusted, a noble, honourable people, more so than her own... she hadn't always thought it was so. Sighing, she sank back into the hay, where would she go from here? Where could she go?

"Awake, anyone?", she asked timidly, deciding she had slept enough.

OOC: Eugh... I know the feeling, ISP's ¬.¬

+ On a lol note: How big is the cell? must be getting pretty full now xD

IC:

Slightly disheartened, Alyssia let out a long deep sigh and rested her head back against the wall. She ran her fingers through her matted her several times, trying to disentangle it but gave up shortly after she'd begun, having only made it worse. Quietly she began to hum and then sing... in Nithaen:

"Tale ol ye mah, say koo - tah mel, no dier"

"Alas, urah - lo ko, meir hah no tah - la fie"

"Tale ol ye mah, say koo - tah mel, no dier...

She trailed off... contemplating the words... they weren't particularly special, it was a song Hyrai used to sing to her. She shook her head, how grateful I am she thought, I show my gratitude by remembering two lines...

With that note, she slumped down into the hay, she would have cried had she not already sobbed her dear ducts dry.
A while later, she was asleep yet again, dreaming peacefully of a time that used to be.

Kryn woke up sprawled across a cold stone floor, illuminated by moonlight. He sat there a moment, trying to remember what had happened. He had entered the town, but after that was just a blank.
Kryn pulled himself up, checking that everything was in its place. He gave the room a quick glance.
Hardly to his surprise, he was in a jail cell. There had been plenty of times when Kryn had entered a village that didn't know about the Anzi. Those encounters usually involved him getting thrown in a jail cell until he could explain what he was and why he was there. There had been a few nasty occasions where Kryn had needed to throw a guard around and then run away, but he hoped this wasn't one of those.
The cell was much larger than a normal one, however, and had several other inhabitants, all of whom were asleep.
A Kyrrin, wrapped in a bundle of robes, lay in the corner, with a Ramorughaur hovering protectively near her. A shirtless human stood off to one side, along with an unfamiliar gray-skinned human and an Elf in the robes of a mage.
Kryn wasn't in a hurry to introduce himself to his cellmates, so he slithered up to the bars, wondering if he could squeeze through. If he turned sideways, it might be possible, and so Kryn gave it a shot.

"Another adventurer that has come to join our ranks."
Elvor said with a glum voice.
"Welcome to the Guild of Strange and Unexplained Imprisonments."
He had been trying all night to surpass the dampener.
He knew that he could get the all out of here if he could just find the right WAY, since most dampeners have flaws, to cast his spells, but he couldn't.
So he hadn't really slept much, leaving him grumpy.

OOC: Sorry 'bout pulling a random fact about Dampeners otta my arse, but i kinda felt that it would make sense anyway. :S
Hope it's kay with you flat.

Silvares woke up from his really deep rest. "Well, Damn. That was a mistake. Magic dampeners." He starts to pull out part of his arm. "So what happened while I was regenerating power?" The other arm was repairing the damaged one. His core was back at full strength.

Kryn was thrown back from the cell door, slamming to the ground on the far end of the cell. It looked like whoever had imprisoned the group wanted them to stay here.
Kryn pulled himself up and turned to face the others.
"Hail, fellow cellmates," he said with a quick bow. "I am Kryn, champion of the Goddess Lillic. May I ask who you are?"

OOC: Hammer time? :D
nah, just kidding. I got it covered. :)

IC:
Suddenly, Elvor's face lighted up in a smile, apparently not noticing the newcomer.
"Hah! The dampener is made in made from spiritual magic! All i need is to exhaust the source!"
With that, Elvor started massing up his magic, chanting a spell over and over and over.
A simple spell, but it would do.
Soon after, Elvor felt the dampener weaken.
"Allright! Take cover!" Elvor said, as he prepared a nova spell...

OOC: roll please. :)

OOC:

DM:

Elvor: (Spell Roll)

D6: +10 For Skill -10 For Weakend Dampaner
Result: D6: 6!
Critical Roll: 6! Ubarpwn!
Final Result: 12!

Elvor's Nova erupted across the room, Somhow feeding off the magic of the dampaner, now surpassed. It poured its own magic into the spell... causing the magical cage to explode, leveling the entire prison. While the party is unharmed, They now stand in the middle of a massive burning Crater. To Elvor's Right, where the warden's office was, lies a large old crystal, covered in runes... a magic generator of epically powerful proportions. Magic generators are things of legend, the arto of their creation was lost long ago... but now, it seems... somone has found it again... and they are not friendly.

"Hmm... This is NOT good. I have to bring this to the council at once."
Elvor says, concerned.
With that, he fetches another vial from his bag.
He throws it at the ground, shattering it.
"My dragon should be here soon."
He says, turning to the others.
"Are any of you hurt?"

The blast had caused Alyssia to bolt upright, interrupting her deep sleep. She stared in horror, first at the elven mage and then at the burning wreckage around them... Slowly gathering her confidence she gulped and said, "...a dragon?", obviously far from delighted at the prospect.

"A dragon..." Kryn repeated. A dragon was one of the many things he had failed to see on his travels, and he was almost certain that no other Anzi had seen one in a long while. This would be quite a story to tell when he returned home.
"May I ask what your name is, mage?" he asked. High-Mage Councilor sounded like a powerful rank, and his power was hardly lacking, evidenced by the burning crater around them.

Exo smiled "a dragon eh,whats his name? I'd like to meet your dragon. being a dragon warrior i feel like making contact with as much of them as possible." he then looked around "aaah, time to eat i guess" he had a grin from ear to ear and then started sucking up and swallowing all the fire around him.

"My name is Elvor Wavetamer."
Elvor said.
He then turned his gaze to exo.
"You can talk to him if you want to. He's not that talkative though, really."

OOC: Yaknow flat, technically there shouldn't be fire. ;)
But i guess that the fire could be from eventual explosives within the prison.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the shadows seemed to grow, peel of the ground, turn to a mist that grew and formed shapes... three misty figures, made out of living shadow encircled the group. they drew long katanas made of flickering flames... One stepped forward, hes body still a faint cloud of dark mist...

"Surrender the Darkstone, and we will spare your lives..." the shadow entoned in his dark voice... (think wc3 lich)
