Divided Village

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
This is my first map I have made for PVP to be uploaded to HIVE so I would appreciate any feedback to help balance the map to be suitable for ladder games. Any feedback on how I should also post maps would also be valuable to me.

Anyway The Map is two villages being separated by a flowing river the main bases aren't inside of the villages instead the natural expansion is located within each village with a 3rd base located in the top left and bottom right corners of the map where rock and granite golem guards the mine.
To reach the opponents side of the map you just need to cross the bridge over the river located at the top and bottom of the map. (there is also a goblin merchant in each village guarded by creeps if you want to hire a zeppelin)

I do understand that a village with village buildings might make it hard to engage in battles but I will try to improve the position of each city I just want to first receive feedback if its a main concern.

Tree gaps still present. Terrain is quite flat. Creep camps should have low camping range (double click on them) if not protecting mines. Would be good not to have buildable tiles near bridges if there aren't enough routes to your enemy to avoid lame...
Look more like a melee map made for campaign map than a casual melee map.

Some of the basic has been execute well for a beginner.
1. Item drop look acceptable.
2. Good map size selection. Not perfect but it's not bad!

Some that need to fix to make it fit for the casual melee case.
1. Trees gaps in playable area must be fixed.
1.1 Doodad gaps are extra detail if you could carry it.
2. Creeps aggro should be set to camp mode, unless it's the goldmines camp.

Extra review note:
Bad synergy/flow layout. Path and creep camp position doesn't lead to anywhere, I only see visual appeal in this case.

Thank you for providing feedback on my map
I have started to fix the gaps in the trees and doodads and will try and connect the different creep camps that stop at dead ends, to try and improve the flow of creeping

Would be good not to have buildable tiles near bridges if there aren't enough routes to your enemy to avoid lame gameplay with towers and stuff.
Bridges need to be properly placed. Use CTRL+PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN to lower or raise them.
Some paths are quite narrow.

Overall a nice idea but not quite melee ready.
Simple.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
