2) Ai Voice - All dialogues were voiced. Many thanks to the ElevenLabs website for providing services. And many thanks to humanity who invented neural networks, thanks to them we can do voice acting.


3) Innovations for old races. - Every chapter we will be able to notice that in the old buildings there are new improvements that will one way or another help us during the battle. We will also be able to find completely new buildings or even redesigned concepts that can surprise the player!

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

Crashed on launch, using latest Reforged version, 1.36.1. Launched on Classic graphics with "Medium" settings.
Launched on "High" settings anyway.
Greetings. For your sake, I just went to Warcraft 3 and checked it, I didn’t fly out, no bug, I tried low, normal, high settings. I wonder what it could be? You turned on the option EHNANCED TOOLTIPS?

Its rare bug and can occur thanks to Reforged. And yes - I had "enhanced tooltips" option enabled. Anyway I just restarted campaign and it worked.

Greetings, Mentilara. I downloaded your campaign and put it in the "Campaigns" folder, and when I started it up, I noticed two things: there is no background, only chapter selection with some custom soundtrack playing and when I clicked on the first available chapter "Defence of Strahnbrad" the error screen pops up where I could only click on "OK" button and nothing else happens. I am using a normal WC3 version of the game, the 1.31 version. Any help in resolving this matter would've been greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello, you need to use the latest version of Reforged, 1.36.

Some of the none build missions will not complete unless they are on the final part.

Example chapter 3
I was able to kill Jaina with the starting 2 ogres because she did not cast water elemental till about 50% hp. I was able to kill arthas and the two footman with him before reaching the granary and the mission would not complete

  1. Disappointed Mathog's not a hero too especially when having glow. Not even an inventory.
  2. Wide Swing should look passive as Bash. You could make it so with: Button Manager v1.8.2
  3. Not really nice you're forced to listen to what the human heroes talk; could have been a skippable cinematic instead.
  4. Weird that villagers appear again among the orc troops and they all stand looking at each other.
  5. Arthas has a regen cheat not falling under 200 HP.
  6. What's the point of the objectives if you can't and aren't supposed to win anyway? Wait, you are compelled to first eliminate all footmen before Artha's health trigger disables. That's ugly.
  7. Doesn't make any sense for the Blademaster to cast Bladestorm if the villagers are already dead.
  8. Mining peons should go gather gold by themselves after the intro as the ones cutting trees do.
  9. The choices are a nice touch, makes it replayable.
  10. LoL, poor Arthas, dies each chapter. That's one heck of a Groundhog Day.
  11. Kel'thuzad could have been a hero too. Come on man, he's weaker than a Necromancer.
  12. Most of the time in these maps it seems you're more watching a movie than playing since doing something meaningful is always near the end.
  13. Not sure chapter 3 is doable. Even tried cheats and there's no victory message anywhere you try to stop the humans before destroying the granary.

1. He has that glow because of the model, he's not supposed to be a hero, that's how it's meant to be.

4. Well, if you look closely, they are like hostages coming out of houses that were not destroyed under the onslaught of orcs. They had no choice.
5. This is not a cheat, when his health level drops below 200, he steals some of the health from his troops.

Yes, since then strategically, you won't have to worry about Holy Light.

Forgot to mention that if Arthas reaches Kel'Thuzad in the northwest, you get a defeat message that immediately is followed by the ending cinematic scene when he says they've been discovered.
I understand what you are talking about (Grain Warehouse) is not destroyed, and it shows you a message that you have lost. I have already fixed it, thank you.

I tried to use it, but it lagged and in some places Arthas stopped attacking.
I guess just using it once on the player, not Arthas' and the enemy player and then deactivating it once the player units get back where they should shouldn't lag or cause Arthas to stop. Don't enable and deactivate it like you're doing with Waits and periodic triggers. That's a bad implementation, looks ugly and might cause lag.

More feedback:
  1. In chapter three after you skip the intro, the camera remains in the darkness instead of moving to where the undead units are.
  2. Giant Skeleto and Skeleton Warrior have the same icon.
  3. One of the peasants running north to the map edge from the trees where others cut, remained idle at the map border.
  4. Generally, the camera should go where the point of interest for the player is. Once the ogres become yours, or when the humans start talking, it should show that.
  5. What are the captive villagers good for? I thought they were gonna fuse them into an Abomination or Flesh Golem.
  6. For some reason, Jaina disappeared after the first encounter with the ogres but appeared as a dead body in the ending.
  7. Arthas appears and disappears as the camera shakes in the ending scene. Jaina's body is a bit levitating.
  8. Could change the colour of the allied undead in chapter 4 so not to confuse your units with theirs during battle or unit selection to make unit groups.
  9. The talk about trolls has some units in Cyrillic saying stuff.
  10. No idea why the camera in undead cinematic scenes shakes.
  11. How is it a new story after Athas was killed and needed (by the way, he dies in the previous chapters too), if right after you see him and Jaina again in front of Kel'Thzad and the undead lose?
  12. Mana Stone and Ice Golem Heart have the same icon.
  13. Snow Acolytes and Acolytes look the same.
  14. Some of the ice undead buildings and units at the periphery towards the enemy base remained allied instead of belonging to the player. Not sure if intended. Same with the green undead.
  15. Temple of Frost Shroud's selection circle is invisible/too small.
  16. Gho's Cannibalize is in Cyrillic.
  17. Rod of Necromancy and Wand of Negation have the same icon.
  18. Idle workers of the green undead do not show the idle worker icon.
  19. Too many units have Disease cloud, especially on the green side. Unit roles should be more different. The ogre is pretty much just an Abomination without Cannibalize.
  20. IMO instead of save-load trial and error to click the right dialog button for Raitiren, the wrong answer could lead you to solve the quest differently, like say get an axe or something to crush him.
  21. In the Stratholme fight, you kind of have to leave your units around near the exits of the city to kill the coming enemy units and work alone with Mal'Ganis otherwise the enemy quickly kills more zombies than you can convert especially when the zombies run away like crazy.
  22. One of the zombies from a house right north of the purple undead base turned from green to red.
  23. On game load Carrion Swarm switches places with Raise Dead on the nerubian queen.
  24. Arthas isn't interested in the orb of frost although he had space but already an orb of fire. OK, Muradin had it.
  25. Some abilities are simply renamed and reskinned but the same as the original. For instance Incineration, Bloodlust etc.
  26. If you move past the blue base, your units are disabled with those periodic deselection actions and ordered to go south.
  27. Arthas doesn't quite heal in chapter 9, rarely. At least the Riflemen. The last knight is healed constantly.
  28. Frost Revenant's Blizzard AoE is huge.
  29. Not sure why but in the blue base, the black mask always turns on and what you discovered gets blacked out on the map/minimap.

Not quite 5/5 but overall a really good and creative edit.

I couldn't help myself and quickly made changes.

4. I'll make a Visibility region instead, the player will see the ogres, if the camera follows itself, then it seems to me that it will look like I'm leading the player by the hand.

(without icons, passive skills)
The green camp is already very strong, so I added a few new abilities.
21. Leaving troops behind can be seen as a tactic, or you can attack his camp, many ways.
22. If I'm not mistaken, then this is a bug from the original when the zombie changes color by mistake.
23. In 7 chapter or 8? Anyway, fixed(chapter 7).
24. I did this in the original, left it, and then took it away with Muradin, hah)
26. Ooof, yeah... Fixed.
27. This is the bot's AI doing this, probably rifleman dies too quickly..
28. Make it even bigger?
29. I know, I needed to make sure that the area was not explored, so I did it this way)

Hello! Place my campaign in the "Campaigns" folder, open Reforged and go to the Custom campaigns tab and play
oooh. so is it true? i mean after 1.35 version its "only" reforged? i got only this old version and since microsoft got the game idk how to get the reforged version itself

Hello. Arthas is healed and takes some of the health from his troops. Cheats will not save you in Chapter 1.
Thanks, I did eventually beat it. I did cheat though lol.

1. New campaign menu music.
2. Fixed AI in chapter 7.
3. Added easy mode.
I assume Easy Mode was for me lol

This is clearly not the usual ROC campaign remake and it's not a generic race/team swap either. I can tell and appreciate the effort you've put in every single map. The way you were able to manipulate AI in such a way that it almost looks like another real player controlling it is outstanding.

Excellent WEditor skills and creativity, congratulations

For real though, while I was getting frustrated with the difficulty, the AI manipulation is off the charts.

Think about it again, every day you do this you get deeper into the darkness.
I dont get it eather, and its wierd that we dont have any oppetions, like before. Some people are not good with riddles at all. How are we sposto get it. The riddel is vage at best and at worst there are no bettre hints.

So I went into this thinking Hard mode will hardly be a challenge only to be absolutely CRUSHED during the first mission. And I loved it. I have never noticed how overpowered Holy Light during the whole campaign actually is but it helped to teach me few ways of coping with cds and healer priorities (and how to play ring around the rosie with Arthas to prevent that one hell of an evil Ressurection)

The way AI Raynor Arthas speedruns no-build sections and heavily macroes when given a base made absolute treat trying to stop him (and often failing) ((many many times)) (((But all creep bonus objectives are doable even on hard diff for which I praise your balancing)))

Love the usage of artifical voices, most of the voicelines sounded exactly like the original warcraft actors. Although few times (especially in the Culling) the lines felt a bit forced/the meaning was lost in translation (also the cave riddle appeared very confusing to me but I am not good with riddles anyways)

It would be great to add a hint that you can recruit new units from the granary on mission 3. I accidentally found out only during last fight and it forces restart

The only map I had problem with was map 4: The first part with solo Kel'Thuzad takes way too long because you get no units and you have to wait for your allies to send small groups of ghouls while also having too low a mana regen to clear anything by yourself (maybe adding a fountain of mana under the goblin shop could fix that) and in the second part the golem near second gold mine does not activate even when you haunt it (so defeating blue with 2 base income in the first few minutes was probably not intended)

The only bug was Mentilagosa's frost wyrms in chapter nine being unavailable -> when turning into second phase I took control of her but the quest did not complete (the two huge AOEs helped me defend the wave of doom Arthas made to destroy me though), she also turned invincible when assaulting blue base

TL;DR: Lots of praise, small bug report and question: On about half the maps I found some hidden tentacles/seekers that disappear when clicked. Is there a way the player was supposed to interact with them? I like exploring campaigns to the fullest so this bothered me a bit (definitely did not expect murloc making a good bossfight)

All in all it was tough but it felt great completing it and I am definitely going to replay with different choices one day.
Thank you for making this campaign and I hope you plan to continue.

You can't interact with the tentacles, but who knows, maybe one day I'll add this feature.

for the riddle...the 2nd one i still cant get it...the first one is year, but second one all in my head is mouth....
One is "dream" other one is "year".
They are all good and fine. Hid the answers behind a spoiler tag. Some people might get frustrated. Perhaps what you can do is to make riddles like password so people that wont get it can at least save scum.

It's an interesting idea, but it's kinda boring just watching the AI play until I get my turn to play, which basically I take control of a few creeps that will be killed easily then back to waiting again. Also, events don't have consequences that much seems like. For example, I already killed Arthas in chapter 1 and 2. Why is he still around in chapter 3 and 4? "Hard" difficulty is not balanced, especially in the chapters that the player doesn't control heroes in. I had hoped to be able to play in Reforged as well.

Didn’t I clearly highlight in the text that this is like StarCraft 2 reversed? Hard should give the player a challenge, if you find it difficult, then play on easy difficulty.

When of the most interesting custom campaign I've ever played. It has successfully introduced a completely new aspect when playing the original story. We really should have had this way sooner.
I'm really looking forward to the upcoming projects.
