Win the game by defeating the mobs, but not too quickly!
Your towers must leak to level up your character, but if you neglect or overwhelm your character, you'll die and lose.

Balance is key!

Air every 4 rounds. Boss every 5 rounds. 6 Skills. 5 Stats. 1 Life.
About 160 items, 45 towers with 2-10 upgrades, 34 skills, 27 classes, and more!
Up to 8 players with 8 unique themed areas to play in.

Commands:
@die, @help, @menu, @view, @party, @reset, @rates, @restart, @weather

Modes:
Individual, Player Leader Setup, Player Leader Only

Options:
Difficulty - Easy (Poring), Regular (Bongun), Difficult (Deviruchi), Nightmare (Baphomet)
Spawn Type - Normal, Bonus Waves, Random Waves, Bonus + Random Waves
Wave Type - Command Spawn, Time (30s), Quick Time (15s), Instant (1s)
End Type - No Ending, War of Emperium, Endless Wave, Character Rebirth, Final Boss, Boss Rush (20 Waves)
Game Length - Short (20), Normal (40), Long (60|Unfinished), Extreme(80|Unfinished), Nightmare (100|Unfinished)
Shop Type - Closed, Normal, Shared, Shuffled, Shared +Shuffled
Day Type - Long, Normal, Short, Day Only, Night Only

Notes:
Player Leader Setup sets a player as the leader and defaults all players to the options selected, but players may still change them.
Player Leader Only means only the player leader can change menu options, and the Restart command is disabled in this mode.
Teaming up with the @party commands allows players to enter other regions and fight together, and all your mobs will teleport to this region.
The @restart command allows players to restart their game whenever they want without restarting the whole map.
Bonus Waves are created by defeating a mini-boss that spawns an additional wave of 10 mobs, with a 50% chance of spawning.
After completing the game with the Rebirth option, all waves are mini-boss mobs, but bonus waves are disabled.
Game Length refers to the number of waves. Waves over 40 will technically work, but every wave except boss rounds are the same mob.
Shop Type and Day Type can only be changed by the Player Leader.

This is my first serious attempt at creating a custom map that started as a hobby project during covid over the past 3-4 years.
I randomly had this unique idea and couldn't shake it til I made it. As I started making it, I just kept adding more and more to it.
I've put a lot of time and effort into this, way more than I ever intended, and really pushed myself to finish it this year, so I hope someone likes it.

It's heavily inspired by the classic MMO Ragnarok Online, which I still play a lot of.

Feel free to use the map or any of the components from it for your own projects. Pretty much everything is done in GUI.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

I've never heard of that bloons knock-off game before so I won't be doing that. Although, my main inspiration does come from the classic MMO Ragnarok Online.

That is a great suggestion, thank you! I will update it with commands and further info in the quest log. I hadn't considered that before but that would be really helpful to players. I realize now I didn't leave all that much info inside the game, and the @help command is pretty lacking.

Is there anything else I could improve on to make it less confusing? I did want to make it as user-friendly as possible so anyone could just jump in and play without needing any experience first. I would love to work on that more.

I feel the best part would be info in the map itself, then perhaps if you think are worth it, some hints now and then appearing as text messages on the screen for various stuff players might miss or not realize from the get-go.
 
the map waves don't come after i set it to timed mode on the starting settings, only the first wave arrives, then the wave counter dissapears n' waves stop coming.

playing on wc3 v1.27b

(i still have to try it on reforged, but most of my friends don't own it so i've to play on 1.27b)

Also, the map itself, the idea, is very good, original, and could be a big gem 💎 for the mapping community, given some hard-work n' love.

After these bugs are fixed, i suggest:

-Making the hero items/skills more approachable and understandable (mostly the job/skills part)

-adding just a couple more tower types or upgrade trees.

-maybe, making it so players can buy units to spawn on other's lanes, to make it more interesting competitively "maybe you were ready for the next wave, but were you ready for it +8 more skeletons?"

-improving terrain, and terrain layout and map layout, it feels very compressed together, or at the very least, very tight together.

That's all!

Keep hitting the hammer, editor is gonna have plenty of +hours poured into it, but if you keep at it, it'll be worth your time! gj! :peasant-work-work:
