Orc vs Human

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Orc vs Human
Now is the time to settle the score. Play your part and make your effort!

Game mode:
  • A altered Warcraft III Melee Map with minion waves, tower structures, quests and much more
  • Win Condition: Destroy enemy (Brown/Light Blue) Nexus to win
  • 8 players max.
  • 4vs4

Map Details:
  • 8 Goldmines
  • 14 Creep Camps
  • 10 Shops (Selling; Heroes, ships, mercenaries, items)
  • 3 Lanes with minion waves for each team

Extra:
  • Greater amount of Gold within goldmines (undryable)
  • Base trees have extra lumber value
  • Added new mercenaries
  • Exclusive items
  • Quests for both Teams

Game Information:
  • I wanted to make a altered melee map where you both have the flow of minion waves and the possibility to tribute with your own army to win.
  • Enjoy the game

The concept isn't bad but the map gets too cluttered by player armies and AoS styled troops and allied buildings. It's also kind of weird and controversial to buy items from a moving hero. Perhaps reducing food and building numbers would make the...
That was a fun map for me.
-Constans Human-Orc unit waves with same stats fight each other like in dota.
-Almost Unlimited Gold Mine and bounty on the enemy units gives you gold ( well needed, because your troops and heroes die fast in battle.)
-Can buy some unique items at base, really expensive but if you have army, can invest for it.

For me, with friends that map can be okay.

Very fun map. Being able to fill the empty slots with computers is really nice, because it allows the map to be played even in single player. I played a few matches with friends, but having the Cloud ability on the human side really gives them a pretty big advantage.

I’m giving it 4 stars for now because I think the map has potential for new features that could diversify the gameplay even more.
 
Improved:
The map 'Orc vs Human', has been updated with the following:
  • Cloud Ability on Dragonhawk from Human race, has been nerfed with its; Area of effect, Cooldown, Duration and Casting range. Nerf
  • Items bought from Markedplace, Grom Hellscream and Admiral Proudmoore is now cheaper. Nerf
  • Quest: Rescue // Increased buff for the prisoners, who make it all the way back to base. Buff
  • King's Guard and Elite Warrior have been buffed at its main stats, likewise have Grom Hellscream and Admiral Proudmoore. Buff

  • I have so fare decided to simply nerf the Cloud Ability, as many of you have pointed out to be too effectively and gives the humans a too big advantage. I choose not to remove the ability completely, do to interest in keeping the uniqueness of that unit and not changing too much of the original melee composition. Please let me hear how the nerf turns out.
  • I noticed the Orc Computer AI to be less aggressive than the Human's AI. Looking into this, I sadly can't tell why it behaves in this manner, compared to the Human Computer AI. If anyone would know the reason why this occur, please leave your comment or message me.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

i played your map a week ago, i enjoyed it, but in my multiple play, the orc one was aggressive and i love it, though we mount a comeback (i love playing orc but humans are cooler)

Improved:
The map 'Orc vs Human', has been updated with the following:
  • Orc & Human Computer AI have been reduced to a food capacity of 80, instead of 100. This makes the total map run much more smoothly, with fewer glitches. Nerf
  • Small change in some creep camps positioning, which makes it easier to clear more effectively. Buff
  • Added more 'Lumber loot' in some of the barrels in the middle of the map. Buff
Make sure to play the newest version!
