Map Title: The Purge of Ashenvale: Blood and Ashes​


The Lore​

Ashenvale is no longer the emerald sanctuary of legend. An ancient Blood Well has been unearthed, and its dark resonance has drawn the Blackrock Clan like moths to a flame. The orcs have marched north, desperate to claim this power to feed their insatiable bloodlust.

But they were not the first to arrive. The Order of the Silver Hand had originally sent an expedition into these woods in search of vital resources. When those scouts vanished without a trace, a full battalion of Paladins was dispatched on a rescue mission. They arrived at the worst possible time and place. Now, they are locked in a brutal war of attrition they cannot win alone.

The Battlefield​

  • Northern Front (You): The Kirin Tor has arrived. As the ultimate magical intervention force, you have deployed from the north to end this madness. You are not here for diplomacy; you are here to be the hammer that strikes the anvil.
  • The Meat Grinder: The center of the map is a constant war zone. The main Blackrock base relentlessly assaults the Silver Hand’s fortifications.
  • The Southern Betrayal: While the paladins hold the line, Troll warbands (allied with the orcs) advance from the south, flanking your allies and claiming territory for the Horde.
  • A Twisted Land: The dual influence of demonic presence and the Undead scourge has driven the local wildlife into an irrational frenzy. Once-harmless creatures have become monsters that crave the flesh of both the living and the dead.

Your Mission: The Purge​

You command the forces of Dalaran. Your Silver Hand allies are trapped between orcish axes and troll spears. You are the third party in this conflict—the deciding factor that will determine the fate of this region.

"We look for no survivors, for in this land, nothing is worth saving. We are the Purge of Ashenvale. We are the Kirin Tor. Let arcane fire purify what steel could not."

Main Features​

  • High-Stakes Multi-Front Warfare: Protect your ally’s rear from Troll incursions while pushing through the main Orcish line.
  • Aggressive Environment: Neutral creatures have been empowered by demonic corruption; they will attack bases and interfere with supply lines.
  • Unique Factions: Play as the Kirin Tor (specialized magic units) alongside the Silver Hand (heavy armor/healing) against the combined might of the Blackrock Clan.
  • The Mystery of the Lost Scouts: Explore the map to discover what truly happened to the first expedition.
Victory is the only path. In these cursed woods, you either conquer or you become part of the rot.

GAME DYNAMICS​

This map is designed exclusively for a Single-Player experience. There is no need to enable additional computer slots; the map is pre-configured and ready to play from the start.

  • You (Human): The protagonist. You must manage your resources with surgical precision to withstand the onslaught.
  • Primary Enemy (Orc - AI): Difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE. The Horde will show no mercy; their waves are programmed to push your micro-management and defensive strategy to the absolute limit.
  • The Third Party (Undead - AI): An independent faction that hates everyone. They are enemies to all and can be your undoing—or a tactical distraction if you play your cards right.

MAP FEATURES​

  • Faction Allies: Unlock High Elf and Dwarven outposts to obtain crucial support units. You will need them all to survive the orcish siege.
  • Extreme Difficulty: The Orc AI has a significant resource advantage and aggressive attack patterns. This is not a standard skirmish; it is a test of endurance.
  • Strategic Terrain: Utilize choke points and high ground to counter the enemy's numerical superiority.

THE "LEGENDARY" LOOT​

Hidden somewhere on the map is a very special item. To obtain it, you depend on:

  • 50% Luck: You might find the ultimate artifact to turn the tide of war...
  • 50% "Just Wood" (XD): ...or you might end up with a pile of lumber as a "reward" for your efforts. Choose your path wisely!

AUTHOR'S NOTE​

This map is NOT for beginners. It has been designed to be extremely difficult. If you are looking for a casual game, look elsewhere. Here, the Orc AI plays to humiliate you.

This is an English based site. I understand the need to connect with Spanish speaking audiences but this is not the place for it. There are such sites or means to, I'm sure. However, as stated before, multilingualism is allowed as long as English is included.
Please remove the YouTube link in the authors field as it has no place there.
