Official {Unamed} Futuristic Roleplaying Thread

OOC: Well, there was the BSJ Shakuras when sacrid attacked you. But yes, subspace nodes can develope in systems, though the one in your main system likely got brutally severed. :/

Well, Gath, it could check the energy signiture, say "nope. not it" and pass it out the other ear. :/ (so to speak) Bt, it will make sure you don't get too close :P Some people might take it as an escape pod or scrapped fighter, etc. :P They may want to sell it. :P
 
The Norththro'dir had fixed up half of their fleet and had crews that knew the price of failure. They colonized the other 4 systems completely and built planetary shields with ranged arrays. They read through Holis data and started to build some gates. These were photo types and were still being fixed of flaws. This time they will protect their home from any race of conquers.
Odin sat in the still being built city of Dul'gast. He was reading the reports over Val Halla space. He knew they gate would need to be improved. The latest report from the Planet Jori had been eating at his mind. It showed that some area would not have power for now. Some one knocked at his workroom. "Who is it?" "The raven." "Heldic Loki, stop your games and help me with the latest reports." Loki entered and saw the huge pile of reports. He knew this would be a long night.
 
OOC: Gates? Your building gates from innder ring pictures of the Chozo Subspace Gates?! Oo They were designed for subspace, but... is that even possible to build them for other warp configurations? Wouldn't it be better to build them from sdcratch instead of trying to mirror other designs and find a way to work them into another warp type? Oo

Still, being able to colonize 4 systems, build cities and put up shield generators for the entire planet, all in 1 post? I may as well have all my systems stocked full of extra turrets! XD And found the frequency I'm looking for! :P
 
OOC: Well there were colonies on the other systems. They took the done ships,recolonized the other worlds and start on the shields and gates. Sorry for the shield, there still being built.
 
OOC: My people have no need for this thing you call "money" and plus I didn't detect a drone so its free. Anywho LOOK I'm GOING INTO FASTER THEN LIGHT TRAVEL!

IC: It didn't take long for the ships to pick up on the old Shentarion trail. A small jolt could be felt as Zerentimon gave the order to enter faster than light travel. After a while the fleets exited. Zarentimon looked to the scanners. To the left was a planet to the right a large ship. (The snake people planet and wormholeship of the kamica peeps?!?!)
 
OOC: I need out. So let's just say the wormhole is large enough for my super Destroyer and we can finally move on. lol

IC: Asura recorded the location of the system and marked it under their control. As Reverana thanked the Emperor, turned off the screen, and began taking orders, Asura hacked into a satalite and got info from one of the computers on the planet. The nodes were withdrawn, the ships were put back into their fighter and bomber bays, and All ships moved towards the coordinates. Asura had the Koldir map of systems and returned to the bridge. "Did you enjoy yourself Asura?" Reverana asked. "Immensely. I got the map of the Koldir systems right here." "Was it military?" "Close enough, that would've taken longer to get through. I compared it to a map off some kid's computer. I'm almost out of range too." "Heh. You really are a piece of work, Asura."
 
While this communication was going on, a search for the person who used a cannon was done, and the person was found, it appeared to be a tactical AI, that had controll over a factory, the AI was interrogated, and stated that it was the most logical approach, warning the AI not to do anything like that anymore, the case was laid to rest.

Also, AI's can learn just like humans, or Koldirs for that matter >.>.
Oh, and Gath... no wormholeship... a wormholestation, not a ship... though Kamica's ship is there atm =D)

IC: The new defense system complete, the Chozo could now focus at the task at hand, returning citizens to their worlds, cleaning up worlds the Holis touched in any way, as well as removing markers left behind by the Chozo. The "academy" was blocked off by the military, until scientists could go through it's contents and engineers go through the programming. Public access was restricted, and any trespassers hauled out with an explanation as to why they shouldn't go in. The military had no clue what was in it, and, seeing as the building was formed from another structure, much less by alien technology, there was no knowing what it could unleash upon visitors, or do to them. A full sweep of the building, along with a full-depth analysis of the technology would be required before anyone outside of the teams set foot in the building.

IC: The vultaran fleet reached the wormhole. A drone was launched and it flew into the portal. reverana waited, staring into the shimmering blue event horizon.

OOC: To me, it's blue. I don't know what you imagine though. It would have to have an event horizon because there has to be a border for the wormhole. lol and technically, subspace tunnels are a form of wormholes. XD You can google "freespace warp" if you want to see what our subspace portals look like. lol

Btw, var's subspace horizon is blue, while mine is red. XD
 
OOC: Nope, I imagine wormholes as colourless, guiding the light through the wormhole like it does with everything else that comes in, in other words, you can see exactly what's on the other side =D, in this case, you see a giant circle, filled with stars, with one rather bright one in particular =D)
 
OOC: Assuming that it's instantaneous travel, of course. You did say it would take 2 *unknown word from koldir language* (hours in my case, possibly days). There would be a tunnel for the ships to go in. And if you've ever seen star gate, you'll notice that they don't see the other side. It has an event horizon. In star trek, they don't have the tunnel effect, yet can only fly in straight paths and can see the stars whizzing past you. XD You're version sounds more like a dimension hole.
 
OOC: This will be good.

IC: The academy saw this as a act of reason. It started to examine these chozo beings. It created a hologram of a chozo civilian it saw. The AI thought it would be reasonable to contact this group. The hologram walked out and wondered around until found by the military. "May I speak to your leader?"

OOC: The hologram will look flawless to chozo eyes.
 
OOC: ... what? It walked out of the building, possibly through the city? Why can't it simply be restricted to the grounds, if not just the building? Besides, the military will think it's a threat to the Admiral if it says it like that. saying "Your leader" not my leader, or, Grand Admiral. :/ Besides, ID does get checked. :/ So, science and engineering teams would most likely have seen it. So, the Hologram took on the image of a scientist?

So your saying, that to other races, it looks flawed? :/

Why not just have it appear, and initiate talks with the teams in there? Summing up an image from all the Chozo in the building? Instead of taking one image and mimicking it.
 
OOC: Yes, a bit flawed until your at higher level. Then you can see though it hologram.

IC: "I come to report to your Admiral. I'm called Rax. You may think of my as an AL."
 
OOC: ... Chozo have holograms, its just that they don't serve much of a military purpose. They... don't exactly like the concept of sentient AIs. They are fine with their Drone HUBs, loyal supercomputers. They don't want an AI refusing orders due to an argument, if the ship is about to get gunned down. :/ But that doesn't mean they wouldn't figure out a hologram if they saw one.

IC: A soldier checked the facial recognition of the Chozo before him. "Facial recognition does not match any files in populace database" The computer tablet chimed. The soldier looked up, unamusement planted into his face. "State your name, position, and purpose here. No one but military personnell and the science teams are supposed to be in here." Another guard began radioing in the breach, informing of an undocumented person at the Holis building.

OOC: Come on! XD You think it's going to be that easy after an invasion attempt? XD
 
OOC: Any image of a civilian is going to be very blurred due to distance. And besides, the clothes would be evident. The school wouldn't have a picture of a naked chozo to act as a base for any hologram. A nice simple test would to have the hologram take its jacket off. Since the school doesn't know what a full chozo looks like, it'll have to guess. All it sees at most would be the suit/clothes, arms, head/helmet, and shoes (if any). I think that's a major flaw right there. And it would also be very disturbing if it could create a hologram of anything it wants.
 
"RAX, a academy teacher of all mathematics, I'm here to report a complaint. Please stop being afraid of the place. The holis are good now, so they have no need to enslave you. They have no need for war yet. They used to have great advances in all areas of science, mathematics, arts and history. So I'm here to offer a tour of the academy, no harm will be towards you or any of other chozo. I have no reason to lie." The hologram answered with a calm tone. He showed that he was a teacher by the admin badge he wore.

OOC: Hahahahahahaha, didn't see that one. You can ask him to show his true form.
 
OOC: He's a hologram. He doesn't have a "true form"

IC: "I think not... Rax. No one is allowed inside except science teams and engineers. And trust me, we aren't afraid of the Holis." He raised his gun, and set it back onto his hand (rifle, of course :3) "You must understand... professor, that we have a certain procedure we must do before we use alien technology. The wimpy superweapon used to defeat the Holis was just a drastic measure, a stab in the dark. But, before we even get close to using this place, if ever, we must have teams go through everything. That means, all the knowledge, all the coding, all technology. We don't want to risk things happening to people. And, if we must, we will demolish this place." He was stern. He would make sure his job was done, with no exceptions. And he wasn't about to be called a scared little bird, like a prey species.

OOC: Well, he IS a hawk. :P by assuming the Chozo are scared of the Holis, you are insulting every bird of prey on the planet (majority of the species in this galaxy) Besides, if the Chozo were scared of the Holis, they wouldn't have put up such a fight as to bring hell upon the Holis. :P They aren't scared little songbirds, you know. XD
 
OOC: A hologram with an admin badge? I'm pretty sure there isn't much the Chozo want from the Holis right now. Do you think humans would honestly go ahead and accept an alien school on Earth? No. The military would tear it apart just to make sure it isn't dangeroud. and politicians would be arguing over whether or not to accept it and why the military is tearing it apart. lol
 
The soldiers notted all the guards around the area and battlesuits with their feet planted in the ground and large, rectangular cannons on their backs. They figure that they are getting close to some official on this planet. They also noted what looked like tribal tents mixed with some sort of metal to make them taller, and all the tribal looking creatures that were around it with bloody staffs, and large teeth. They came across large doors and noted the round circular embelm in the center of it. They figure its their nation's emblem since it was on the battlesuits and weapons.
 
"Yes, sorry if anything I said offended you. Well if you want help, us teachers of the academy of higher learning will help you. Send you teams in but they can't remove anything. Yea, The place it self is the technology. The data will be transferred in a crystal. So good bye and good luck. I'll send Becky with the crystal and she will help you understand. We are ALs, Artificial Life, units that have material bodies but we do have holograms." The hologram faded away and the others teachers were activated their bio suits. They gathered the data that was needed for the chozo to examine. The data was in thought waves data and had to be carefully copied to the crystal.
 
OOC: ..... XD They already started taking the place apart. XD Now, they do put it back when they are done, but it's more of the hacking procedure they are using the look over everything. They aren't ripping hte wires out or hard-drives. Just hacking XD Lots and lots of hacking, while science teams look over the materials and physical materials of the place. Marines? threats. :P So, your kinda late. XD

besides, I already knew AL meant Artificial Life. XD You underestimate me, like you do the Chozo brain! :D lol

IC: Science teams continued to analyze the structure and the materials in ti's construction, while engineers go through the coding, and anything on the computers. Military went through the place, carefully searching for anything hostile, or any technology that the engineers and scientists could study. They were going through everything. The crystal, however, was taken to a lab for processing in a computer seperate from the entire network. An isolated computer to go over the data and chek for viruses.

OOC: :P I will try to stop any tricks you may attempt to pull. :P I'm not going to rush this. XD
 
Even though they were now under the rule of the Vultarians, the Koldir didn't change their way of life, they just continiued working, however, the amount of resources they had to give, would have to be compensated, so a project, which was partially done several years ago, but never finished, got picked up again, as they now had found a way to get to the appointed planet, without having to wait a decade or two, another new class had been build, this time not for combat, but for fast transportation, a massive ship, with the shape of a hollow cilinder, it was almost like a mobile base, as it was large enough to even have a wormholeship fit into it, it was called 'Starlight' for it was to be the most important ship for the Koldir FTL program, it's first mission was already ready as soon as it was launched, a cargoship with a special cargo and several resources onboard got loaded into the 'Starlight', and the Starlight traveled to the edge of the Koldir secondary system, after which it went Faster Than Light into the direction of an uninhabited, according to scans, resourcefull planet.
 
Zerentimon checked his scanners. Seeing the station with a much higher level of technology than the planet he turned the ship towards it. He sent a transmission he had said hundreds of time to every race he had met in his life. "We seek the followers of Laminad the Laminari." He spit out the last words in disgust. "Speak now or your souls will be extinguished from this universe."
 
When the doors open and they get inside, they see glass screens around the room, showing off battles that are going on on different planets. One of them seems to be focusing on a certain person. There is a man in the center, with a cane in his hand. He appears to be watching that screen. The man has what looks like a minigun but it is shooting out plasma rounds. And the rockets on his shoulders shooting down some sort of mechanized troops. The scientist waits to hear from this person as the doors behind them closes.
 
OOC: One of Gath's races (a hostile one) is at the snake-peoples planet (One of my protected planets) and hailing a station nearby it (a wormhole-station))

IC: The only responce they got were some words in a foreign language, though other than the one they just heard.
 
OOC: Ah. thanks. They were starting to blur together. :P

IC: Research into the technology and data of the Holis structure continued. Several teams had flooded into almost every room of the building, hacking into computers (same device the marines used. Stab/plug it in, and let it figure it out. :P) and sifting through the information and code. Marines had yet to see any threats, though they were suspicious of the holograms.
 
ooC:Var there is no computers, not hackable ones any way and the crystal have the data. So the chozo don't have any thing to plug into. The computers are neural based and the chozos won't be able to. The building is small compared to the space inside it, plus there's no tech to teal because the building creates it.
 
Zerentimon signed he would be glad to kill this race however he couldn't risk a possibly location of their enemy. He pressed a button. He looked away in digust as a Laminari picture with an arrow coming from it to a pciture of the galaxy.
 
OOC: So, where is data stored? in crystals. What has to access them? the nueral nodes, aka, a computer of some form, and in this case, not a biocomputer. So yes, there are computers. What are the students supposed to do once plugged in? Have it downloaded into their heads? There would likely be a display of some sort. Guess what that would use? a computer. A computer would be needed for the nueral nodes to function and send and recieve data. So yes, there are plenty of computers around. Just not exactly in the form we ahve on Earth. :/ But there are definetely computers.

Computers Might want to check the first line. And, due to computers ahving to be physical, there is always a way to hack into one. And, even if the crystals are the hard-drives, that means that they can be accessed to pull up the data and inputdata into them as well. So, yes, all I need to do is pull up the data from the crystals like any comuter would with their hard-drives. It is possible to hack. And, being crystals and nueral interfaces, it may take longer to hack, but there are computers to hack.
 
OOC: Yes and no. The building it self is AL, so basically it's the computer. The rooms are empty until Mathrean, AKA the Building, makes all the tools. So it adapts to the needs and tech of any race.
 
so, it could become a factory if it wanted... Build a droid army within to unleash upon the public. Yet another point of entry for the Holis to attack. Could also turn into a Jump Gate if commanded, I suspect. Not really convincing me to keep it around. :/ Besides, the Chozo won't trust it until it is proven safe, and that means, going through all the codes and resources. :/
 
OOC: Yeah, if it can become a school, what's to say it can't transform again? If it makes it's own tools, it could easily build turrets to keep itself safe. Possibly a sattelite for world domination. lol

IC: The drone sent visual to the other side. Reverana watched the screen as it appeared. "All systems are functioning properly. It seems safe, sir." said Asura. "Good. Send a cruiser in, just to be safe. If nothing goes wrong we'll go through."
 
OOC: Programmed to stay that way unless the controlling faction at the time, Holis, Norththro'dir or Chozo, agree to any kind of event. War, Rebuilding, you get the picture. Then will it change with all Controlling fraction agree. No one can force it to change without the agreement. So it has defenses that will not harm any being. These are made that any being can enter without fear. The building has others brothers and sisters that can be linked when the two or more controlling factions agree to the link. The link can be broken when a controlling fraction doesn't want the link anymore. So basically you control the School, free of charge. The Holis have one and also the Norththro'dir. IF ANYONE WANTS ONE, go see the norththro'dir, holis or chozo.

Who is controlling then? Sounds to me like you are planning another war against me. So, since it is Chozo space and a Chozo planet, that makes the Chozo the controlling faction. And, as you said the controlling faction had the choice, as seen in the second quote, that means that I can change it. But, as it is Holis technology, you too, also have domination of that structure. So, as I said earlier, it is just another point of entry for another seige. Makes me feel like removing it from the picture. :/

lol All your attempts to make me feel safe with it only make me lean towards ridding myself of it sooner. XD

Basic summery:
1. One of the "Controlling factions" The Holis, North'throdir, or Chozo can change the structure to fit their needs. (Allowing 2 to gang up on the Chozo and use the building as an entry point)
2. The Controlling faction title seems to be able to be switched to whoever dominates the area, or has control of the building, not mattering on location.
3. Only the Controlling factuon has the power to make the change of the structure, even if the majority says otherwise. So, with it being Holis technology, and the North'throdir now using this tech, they can over-ride any changes the Chozo demand.
4. The majority of the factions can agree to the link even if the recieving side does not want it. Yet another appearance of war from the Holis and North'throdir against the Chozo.

In short? It is a threat to the Chozo, as they are not quick to accept apologies from attackers and intruders that led to war and possible enslavement and destruction of their planets. So, they see it as an entry point for a future invasion by the Holis or North'throdir.

Now you see my reluctance to agree to the existance of this building upon Chozo soil. The Admiral isn't friendly with the Holis or North'throdir, as neither of them listened to the Chozo when given orders. Both claimed a planet. So, he doesn't like them much.
