Flaken smirks. Flaken: "Very well then... There not who were after. Where is that ship at anyways?" He says looking at the radar. The giant cannons retreat back into the ships. The fighters and transportships return to there ships as well. The radar starts tracing for that tracker on her ship.

Amenon looked at the giant room his face showing once more Aw. He never thought something so natural could look so beautiful. He stood there waiting on where to sit.

As the admiral waited for the next news segment, he received a call, informing him of the progression of five mining ships in the nebula. Ripping his seat around, he grabbed the talk button. "I did not accept any proposals nor any requests for any ships to go into the nebula!!" Angry with what he suspected, he growled, "Get. Them. OUT!" His face furious, he watched as three cruisers made their way into subspace to retrieve the mining ships. Deciding his course of action, he stood up, calling to the helm to prepare for immediant subspace travel to the nebula, following the course of the five mining vessels. Receiving an affirmative, he felt as the engines roared to lfe and pushed the ship at full speed within seconds, out of the defence fleet. Then, suddenly, the smoothness as the ship entered subspace. Receiving a call from the command station, he responded, telling them of the current situation. Rumors had spread among the military and population, fluctuating between an ancient vessel, possibly a weapon, to a new, deadly race whose murderous existance was being kept secret by the government. And the admiral informed the comms officer of the truth, told him to publicize it, told him why he needed to get to the nebula as fast as posible. He told him of the danger the object possessed, to both military, and everyone else. And with that, he ended the call, and sat down, brooding as he watched the subspace tunnel continue on his screen.

But I figure the race is approvable, since they would live in volcanoes, and immitate the atmosphere in their ships (that could explain part of the size, since they have to have a machine that recreates the atmosphere perfectly), and they are also a mining ship. :/ Though, people haven't made up thier minds on the ship :/

The part on reflecting shields isn't that like impossible i've never seen a shield on a ship reflect something.
Overall Its a nice race and will probably be approved after a few twicks. What do yall think.

As well as that post there have been numorous descussions about your ship and everything else so until I have everyone tell me they approve and the changes in a new race creation sheet written by you. It is not approved.

The vultarans picked up a few ships heading towards them. "We're being hailed." said one of the engineers. "On screen." The screen lit up and showed the other ship's bridge. "Ronai dor Koldir tsira, kia so?" The vultarans captain loked at the enigneer, "Did you get that?" "Negative." The captain looked back at the screen. "Vera kar Reverana. Terog dir vala Tephra Blade. Venra korto sulmanya."

The radar starts tracing for that tracker on her ship.

A faint signal, originating from what seems to be an open field, creates a blip on the tracker screen.
(OOC note, if they scan for energy signatures, etc., it shows nothing but plant-life and the beacon.)

The message that was returned got thrown through the entire local network to every translating AI around, then they all shared their information with the ship that had hailed "We can understand your language now, please repeat your message"

OOC: That's cheap, DarkKnight. No one has ever HEARD the language. It would sound a bit more like rumbling with a language inserted, the rumbling giving the words different meanings. There is NO way you could have gotten it translated! -.- We said, NO Universal translators or instant translators -.-

OC: what? that fast? You don't even know what species they are. I only had him say a couple sentaces. You'd need a heck of a lot more than a couple sentences to be able to understand his language. Besides, do you know anyother species that has a volcanic atmosphere or body? Take a look at them, I think you'll realise that their vocal cords are a lot different. Heck, they can talk to eachother with sounds that sound like the rumbles of an avalanche or volcano blowing up. lol Youy can't translate that. XD

IC: Reverana looked at the screen and then back to the engineer. A rumbling voice eminated in the air. "Veratook taran senda karaida manayta?" reverana then looked back to the screen. "Veren kul torin kalr tarn krintok, hemiosoluda vendrasultan."

Suddenly, the ship began to speak in a completely different language. "Dahngeradrun. Vara tun sill touk." To all who weren't Vultaran, all they heard was a screech of different frequecies that lasted for only two seconds.

IC: THe admiral watched the progression of the devices, and ordered the testing grounds to be prepared by the time the devices were complete.

Yes it is, but for the purposes of me keeping my home secret, I'll say it fell off when she went to land.
It's also a perfectly reasonable event, because high-speed flying would make it fall off, coupled with the fact it would be put under intense heat.

Flaken looks mad at the lack of stickyness of the tracker device. He orders his troops to go down on the land to track down the ship. Some transport ships go down onto the planet and begin there search.

As the troops spread outward form the field, one team discovers a hole in the ground, layered with a strange metal. The team radios in to Flaken:
Soldier: We found a tunnel, and I think it leads to an underground base. Permission to search?

(OOC note: If permission IS granted, they head down a shadowy tunnel. Any light sources they use flickers on and off until it just outright quits.)

The ship exited subspace infront of the mining ships. "You will dock with the BSJ Shakuras and be return to the safety of Shakuras. You have no permission to be in this nebula. It is far too dangerous for any of us to be here right now."

"Yeah? And who made you dictator? This is my ship, and your keeping it all for yourselves!"

"No, sir. We have this nebula locked off for everyone. ALl missions here must go through me first. It is for your own safety. Once we have removed the threat, then we will permit commercial ships to come through here. But as it stands, this nebula is far too dangerous for even military vessels to safely journey through."

"Well excuse me if I don't beleive you" The mining ship captain sneered, and began to order his ships to head around the flagship of the military fleet.

Just then, the other cruisers warped in, cutting off any route past the juggernaught. "If you would like to know what this threat is, I will send you the images we acquired before 31 drones were butchered by it." The images were sent, and all was quiet. The admiral waited.

OOC: Ah, so they do not follow basic language structures, evolution etcetera.

IC: "Wait... that sounded completely different than the language they used, Are the AIs joking or something?" "Uuhm... the AIs say that's the best they can do, without knowing their anatomy, history, culture etcetera" "Then how did we get those other languages to translate?" "Well... their languages were more like ours" "Damn" "Sure is..., what shall we do sir?" "Uuhm...show a picture of our planet with a circle around it, depicting our territory, and place the cannon like weapons they use inside of it, and show a picture underneath it showing our ships attack theirs, next to that, place the same picture, but with their weapons outside of the ring, and then show a pic underneath that showing just my ship and their ship, without any signs of aggression" "Are you sure sir?" "Do you know any other ways to tell them?" "No sir" "Allright then, send it"
The picture got send to the other ship.

OOC: umm, ok. let's see. a circle around your planet, probably meaning your territory, or your moon's distant orbit (lol), I assume the weapons are supposed to show that they are aimed at my ship, you want to attack me, and then force me out. lol That's what I get. I don't quite know what the cannons are for. but I do know that you want me out. XD quite the first contact. lol

IC: The Vultarans on the bridge looked at the screen. They looked at their captain and nothing happened. The computer spoke again, the screech being heard on the other screen. "Vara tun sill touk. Vandan targruk scarandum. Targruk henderana valatush." This is what the Vultarans heard on their end. Reverana looked up at the speakers and nodded. He looked back at the screen and the screen turned off.

The mining ships, unable to pass, given the information, their crews in shock and awe, surrender to the Admiral's will. Docking with the great ship, the fleet warps out, returning to Shakuras.

The captain waited for a while... and another... wihle nothing hapened, he then send a message to the Emperor, he soon got one back, and with that, the ships started to charge their weaponry, and slowly advancing, while closely watching the enemy's weaponry.

Soldier: Sir!
As the team continues down the tunnel, all power sources flicker out. They're left in total darkness, and a rumbling sound can be heard.

OOC: umm, charging weapons? how exactly does that work for a ship with melee as it's only option?

IC: "Charge weapons. Pump the Centurion gas and target their bridge. Fire when ready."

OOC: I assume you have shields? If not, this is one short battle. and the gas is for the reflective defense, not for firing. lol I have energy weapons for that. XD

They tried, the power went out before they could.

IC: As the rumbling drew closer, a large, reptilian head came in to view. The soldiers heard it's breathing, saw it's face, and could hear the swishing of it's tail.

The soldiers quickly rushed out of the way, the ones that were hit just hit the rocks withought hurting themselves.

The beast lunged forward, narrowly missing one soldier whose armor screeched as a spike grazed it. Drawing it's head back, it released a blue cloud from it's mouth. The creature was gone when it cleared, and their radios regained their power, flickering to life...

OOC: Plasma ridges on the wings, and yes the bigger ships have shields on their flanks mostly, and they are all very good pilots/captains, allowing the fighters to be very good evaders, sometimes even able to evade a beam weapon (by looking at what angle the weapon is going), how do you know where our bridge is? XD)

IC: The ships suddenly started to increase their speed, though not straight for the giant ship, but on a course that would put them behind the ship, while the fighters went directly for the gun turrets.

Sergeant:What's go-- *static* --there? *static*

The radio flickers off again. When the soldiers look up to find the hole, it has been covered by a magnetically sealed 'door'.

One of the soldiers runs up to it and starts banging on it. Shit! He says as they look at each other with a frightened look on there faces.

Plasma ridges on the wings, and yes the bigger ships have shields on their flanks mostly, and they are all very good pilots/captains, allowing the fighters to be very good evaders, sometimes even able to evade a beam weapon (by looking at what angle the weapon is going), how do you know where our bridge is? But how can you tell where it's pointed if the opposing fighters ahve kept you busy? How can you tell where it's aimed when its the same color as the hull, no glowing, and is basically poking slightly out of the ship? How can you tell where its pointed when you can't find it on a ship thats just a bit too far to see details?

IC: The admiral sighed in frustration. Times were tough with the attempts to bring his civilization into a golden age of peace. And with the increasing aggitation from those that wanted a "better" leader, one who did not keep secrets, and told the public everything, the admiral knew where this was headed. If he couldn't stop it before it became common amongst his people, then he would be forced to reveil the ugly, ugly truth about several threats to the people, their empire, and their very existance.

OOC: Ok, let's see. You don't know where the beam cannons are aiming cause the cannons are basically domes with a crater in the center. Behind that is the cannon itself, protected by a one way shield that allows it to fire and enemy lasers to not hit it directly. My ship is large, and it isn't going to fall that easily. You still didn't answer how your ships power up weapons if they don't have ranged weapons. and i think you are going to have trouble with attacking my ship by slashing with your fighters cause there is really nothing to break off. These aren't like the star wars turrets, with the barrels and all. It keeps my ship a little bit safer by having the weapons on the inside.
btw, I guessed on the most logical area for your bridge to be. Is it possible you could give me a link of what your ships look like? It'll help me visualise the battle. lol

IC: "Fire at the larger ships. try to take out their engines." "Affirmative. Changing target."
The beam turrets came online and got into position. They aimed at the the engines of the larger ships and began to glow, the glow appearing in the crater of the cannon covers. (I assume cruisers, right?) "Fire." Red beams of enegy shot straight at the ships.

(If they have shields, It hits the shields and starts weakening them.)
(If they don't have shields, the beams quickly begin to melt hrough the hull and soon rips through the ship, appearing on the other side and continueing on.)

OOC: I did say how the weapons would charge, "Plasma ridges on the wings" and now that you shot, the fighters know where the turrets are =3, and they can still cut through your hull, even though it's a small bit, btw, how thick is your armor? And I didn't say it would fall easily, but well, you have just one large ship, I have an entire fleet protecting one of few planets, honestly, if your ship can win this battle, then you can also destroy my race =/... unless you go for a ground assault =3, and I don't have a picture of my ship...)

IC: The larger ships started to turn towards the thinnest part of the ship, the fighters had reached the hull of the enemy ship, and started ripping through the surface, one of the ships got a hit from the rear, and their engines exploded, sending the rest of the ship towards the enemy ship faster than the other ships, while little dots (escape pods) could be seen leaving the ship in almost a cloud of little thruster lights.

OOC: So they don't have shields? you need to get pictures. I can help, but it could take up a WHOLE lot of time. lol

IC: Rail guns materialised on the hull and activated. The targeted the fighters and began shooting the plasma rounds quickly. Soon, the entire hull was layered with them, and plasma shots shot out like ripples in a pond, becoming a large wave, a maze, if you will. Small covers opened up and blue glows appeared. The small cannons aimed at the fighters and began firing. small blue lines of energy appeared in three short bursts from many of the anti fighter beams. Meanwhile, the larger beam cannons aimed at the incoming wreckage and fired, quickly tearing it apart. They soon went on a new mode. "Begin a wide sweep from front to back. Don't let them flank us." commanded Reverana, watching the battle from the screen. "Comm, get me a 3-D map of the battle." "Yes, sir." replied the communications officer. "Security, round up some of the troopers and get them ready to board the shuttles and fighters. Launch on my command." Reverana looked back to the screen to see a hologram in front of him. He saw all of the ships, all of the shots, and all of the damage readings from all ships. He began to think of his next action.

OOC: basic idea for the design: The Protoss' Pheonix. Well, the opposing ship DOES have more than just beam turrets, so really, your mellee fighters are going to have a pain trying to take out the ship

The soldiers hear growls on their way down the tunnel. At the highest point of the tunnel, the power is on again.

OOC: They do have shields, very strong ones in fact, but only at the sides, top and bottom, the front and rear are very vulnerable, which results in the side shields to be 1.5 times as strong as they would be if the front and rear would be protected too, also, funfact: If a ship of mine is destroyed, most of the time, the wings rear part of the inner hull (a part where nobody comes as it is near solid metal) just stay on going, as the engines (which blew up in this case) and the wings are connected by one solid piece of metal, quite hard to make, but necesarry if you don't want your wings to get torn off =/)

Several fighters got destroyed in the initial turret shots, but after that, they immediatly dispersed, going far away from eachother in paires of two, the larger ships started to turn again, showing their sides to the fireing.

Meanwhile...

Mapai yelled in Kamica's ear "Our home is being attacked, our home is being attacked, you are called back at once!" "Understood" He turned to the other two and said "I'm terribly sorry, there are troubles at the home front, I need to get back this instant, please don't follow me, ranged weaponry is illegal in our system." he put his helmet back on and ran for the exit, yelled his troops back, got in the transport and headed back to the ship.

Meanwhile, the admiral waited for the report that the asteroid field was ready. Mass production had been successful, and the devices were nearly complete (I am NOT going to take monthes on waiting for them to be finished)
