OOC: It has its own little cloak on it so its sorta invisible.
IC: The fighters fly past her ship and her as they start fireing on the carrant and its fighters, the battleships an frigates fireing as well. Flaken still under the shield of the mech, Flaken: "So far the shielding works, dont know how much longer we can hold out, take there cannons out so they stop fireing at us!." Soldier: "Yes sir!" They start fireing at the cannons on there ship.

Thinking along the way, the admiral knew he would ahve to speak with his advisors and generals about this new threat. But he had already developed a weapon idea that could possibly counter the unknown object. He thought he had a way of tricking it.

Finally, the ships reached the end of the swirling blue tunnels, and exited outside the defense fleet. Sending in the ships codes along with his own, and each captain of the ships, his ships were allowed entry through to Shakuras. Sending off a message to the advisors and his generals, he prepared to take a shuttle to the surface to speak with them at the council chambers.

"Normally we'd be doing a first contact with just 2 species, ours, and theirs, and I'd rather keep to regulations, especially if I want to keep my job, I'm sorry, but I'd have to refuse that, It's nothing personal, it's just becouse we had bad experiences with previous first contacts with more than 2 races..." Kamica said "I'll use Mapai then."

"I can assure you, I am bound by moral codes and regulations, so that first contact will not be disrespectfull or harmfull in any way." Kamica said, without waiting for an answer, he turned to the other aliens, and said "Krom, mar so Kamica Anera ronar ko Koldir"

OOC: if you have any translators, or Gath's translator suddenly kicks in, he said "Hello, I am Kamica Anera of the Koldir)

Drion stopped his work and felt the prescient of Choas. He use teleportion to their location and roundup near Gath's and knight's units. "Ah, Well hi, I'm Drion the last Holis. What the problem here". He sat down.

OOC: Wow wow wowwow, stop right there! You can't just teleport yourself to some random location, there are only two kinds of teleportation
1. Startrek style, only within a certain range, which is from orbit to a planet surface, max, and you've got the scientific one, where you get ripped appart into atoms, the information of those atoms goes to a device somewhere else, and inside that device you get rebuild from other atoms...

OOC: 3. Wormhole teleportion, using wormholes to throw yourself into the exact location while using a Telepad. Startect or Scientific 1. And Yes it is posable to be killed or trown some where else.

don't make this a 4 race first contact -.- get rid of that action. I hate it when other players decide to pop in cause they feel like it. it gets old and ruins RPs (happens from certain players in other RPs) It leads the RP to randomness and soon chaos ensues.

2. A Vortex, like in Stargate. The person enters the vortex, and added to the gate's buffer, And, sent all at once, the body is sent to the other gate. this process can be spread ocross galaxies, and takes less than 5 seconds. Gravity effects wormholes. Black holes can slow time on other side, and going through the sun can be dangerous. As well as the gate malfunctioning. Poeple get stuck in buffers until the gate is next dialed, or people put stuff infront of the gates as a shield or to keep them from being used. :p

OOC: Dude, wormholes are my thing, and even for my race it's impossible to create a wormhole at a certain place without a certain structure being there, and btw, teleportation and going through a wormhole aren't the same thing ^^)

i never said they were. Besides, with the Stargates from the Stargate series, they count as structures, as most the time, they are found at one location on a planet. rarely are they on a ship. But, they draw their power from their surroundings (i won't go into the painful details here :/) and allow the establishment of wormholes. in this case, you are demolecularized, shot through the tunnel to the other side, where you are remolecularized, all within usually 5 seconds :/ Though, they aren't without their problems themselves :p They are machines all the same. :p These facts are what differ them from teleportation :p teleportation is simply the sending of matter to be reconstructed at the target destination (which honestly would be able to stop on a planet without killing the person :p)

OOC: I am not going to have a random holis pop up on the planet: I disapprove of that...seriously...I'm trying to be a mythic race of legend (without godmodding of course), and a random user just 'popping up' and saying "whats the problem" without even knowing who I am, what my people are, and what is going on...is well...personally, a rather bit degrading to the image I'm trying to portray. A majestic, mysterious, mythic, and slightly aloof..with an adoration of snacks...race.

And it makes me (my character) feel like I can't handle a diplomatic situation on my own...with two younger races...when my culture is already millenia old...exceeding even the Holis, in our 'youthful-agedness'.

___________

Elui looked at the new comers and over heard the argument, the translator issuing forth in the language of the Laminari the banter between them...talk of regulations, and ethics...

COME! You both shall speak with me, I am Elui, and I have snacks for everyone!

And now with a serious face, he snapped for his guard, and quickly they set a warm mantle on the snowy ground, and laid it with little tastes of food and mindola, a strange sort of nectar "rum", if rum if could be called.

Sit, new meetings should be happy and celebrated, not regulated, and tightly strung like little nooses...

The ancient translator set forth the offer into their tongues.

"Well, the regulations were made, becouse we've had bad experiences with the very first first contact, the result was a lost station on our side, and the near extinction of the other race unfortunatly, appearantly to their race, putting a hand on someones shoulder, means you want war with him or something..." Kamica said while sitting down, he looked carefully at the food laid in front of him, he carefully picked one up and held some kind of a device against it, suddenly Mapai said "It's edible, come on, not so rude" Kamica put away the device, and took a bite, the taste was so strong, and so disgusting for him, that he had difficulty not spitting it out, he still swallowed it and waited for the taste to go away a bit and then said "Sorry, this is not exactly my taste"

Soldier: "Yes sir!" They start fireing at the cannons on there ship.

KaBOOOM! One cannon on the Carrant explodes in a brilliant flash of light. The rest soon follow, but Flaken's forces have taken more than a few losses.
(about 4-5 fighters and 1 frigate)

Ahrimaa cuts the jetpack and lands with a creaking sound. Jumping out of the battlesuit, she charges her Powerfist and begins to pound at the turrets scattered around the top hull. Moments later, she strikes at the hull itself, and a large hole opens up. As she drops down into the ship, she finds herself surrounded by troops. many of them are using a lot of willpower to NOT pull the trigger.
*sigh* Do you people EVER learn?
With that, she crushed the skull of a soldier in front of her, swept her arm left and knocked a bunch of men down (dead, of course), then powered up her Storm Hammer and killed the rest with a single blow. As she finished that encounter, an alarm rang.

OOC: No Holis is popping up anywhere. Let this just be 3 races.
OOC: THat is a little overpowered Tahril.

IC: Amenon sat down as well and picked up a treat of his own gobbleing it down. These people truely know how to eat he thought. "Now why not start. I am Amenon Arake Surpreme Chief of the Ugrentiens. I welcome you both to I'ron and may the grace of the Ancient Ones shine on you." He glaced at Elui feeling a bit odd about saying the last one. "I mean.. Umm.." He began scrambling for words.

OOC: Oooh, sounds just a bit overpowered XD.

Is it overpowered when I say it actually took time to design and create, and specifically designed for my race's armors, and therefore, is less effective against others (much less, unless allowed)?

The mech's shield dissapears as they head to the transport ship, they hop on and head to the battle ship. As soon as they get on flaken heads to the deck. He starts commanding his troops to power up the power cannon. As the troops prepare the power cannon he looks at the map seeing that the beacon is near there ship, he orders his men to stop the cannon as he sits and watches to see what happens next to the carrants ship, the cannons on the battleships and frigates still fireing at the carrants, they keep up the pressure.

OOC: Tahril, overpowered is not always god modding XD, look at Prototype for example, I think that guy is realy overpowered, killing masses quite easily, but he can still die, and as long as you don't go killing 5 players in one stroke, I'm fine =3

well, the mech may have been a prototype, but he ditched it to go inside and slap some enemies around with a hammer? They are in battle! They wouldn't have simply pointed guns at the intruder D: Its common logic! Besides, the mech could do more damage by ripping the ship apart, depressurizing various areas as it causes massive damage to the enemy ship.

.... I was planning on aiding the Holis -.- I was hoping they could be an ally... but now... *uhg...*

IC: The admiral exited the military spaceport, taking an armoured vehicle to the Council. Finally reaching his destination, he met with two councilmen, and chatted with them as they waited for the rest of the council to begin. Sighing, the admiral looked around the room at the gathering Council. Report in hand, he stood. As the Council Leader spoke to the rest of the council, marking the beginning of the session, the admiral thought, 'Here we go...' And walked to the center of the room.

Elui saw that they had eaten a few bites, and listened as the translator reverberated back Kamica's disgust.

No problem, more for me, I adore these snacks.
He replied with a childlike smile.

And I also welcome you both, I am Elui, Priest-Captain of the Silverfeather caravan, I am not the leader of my people however, we are ruled by our elders, I am speaking on their behalf.

I welcome you to my camp, as you have welcomed me to your world.

And do not be so afraid Amenon, it will take a while we realize, to deroot your worshipful fervour towards us. But know this, we are but mere mortals like you, and no different, no better, or any holier, or civilized. We are simply different. It is only by Laminad, who makes us so high, that we are so civilized and mighty.

Try not to reveal too much Elui...Really...you can be too friendly at times.

Asame said into the com with a turt of angst.

"We have met various races, and accomplished much in our existance, and it is known that some day, we would find ourselves with a serious problem. Today, is just that day. Earlier tday, I led a total of six ships into a recently discovered nebula. While scanning the area for obstacles or threats, one of our drones was destroyed." The details of the nebula appeared on the massive hologram pad in the middle of the room. (like a giant bottlecap from those glass coke bottles :p) "We halted our search of the nebula, and sent thirty drones to gather data on the source of the attack." The nebula was replaced by the partial scan of the object. "Though all drones were destroyed in this attempt, we gathered an image of about 1/3 of the object's hull. He think this thing is about the size of the moon" Again, details of the object appeared around the image, detailing heat, and density scans, as well as known elements within the structure. "We think this thing is partially organic. How this could happen reveils a few mysteries. Was it some lifeform that claimed the object as a home? Or, was it put there in place as a gaurdian of the nebula, or as part of the structure? If so, who built this, and why? Until further missions to exploring the nebula can be permitted, I have developed an idea, of sorts. Noticing how the object destroyed the drones with great accuracy, perhaps it heat seeks, or is a vastly intellegent creature or species, perhaps a biological AI at the controls. My idea, is simple..." The hologram switched to a new file, and reveiled a schematic of a new weapon. Hopefully one that would enable the attack that would disable, if not remove the object from the nebula, freeing up the area for mining assignments. Further details are not included to keep the suspense and to prevent a leak. :p No need to spoil the surprise >:3

"Our teachings revealed they were an ancient and powerful race of conquerers. They abandoned this planet before our birth and when we fled underground we came upon artifacts of them including a lost city. As well as these crystals." He pointed to the one in his brestplate. "Which are a wonderous creation that seem native to this planet. But now it seems that they are different more civilized. Wise and like a whole new race. How did this come to be I ask?"

Exiting the Council meeting, he flagged down his cab. Every time he got into a vehicle, he had it checked for any explosives or trackers. He did not like the thought of the chaos that his old homeworld had, arriving on Shakuras. Being confirmed that there was none, he climbed into the vehicle. The vehicle soon was making its way back to the military base, where he would be heading to the Command Station. He looked out the window at the beutiful scenery that was the city capital of Shakuras, the perfect blend of nature and technology. Green trees grew where appropiate, it was all manicured to make the city look great. Shakuras was peaceful, the inhabitants having vowed to make a new start since leaving their homes and people behind, in another galaxy. No criminals were brought, just scientists, friends, and family, and valuables. Now, the world of Shakuras flourished, without the chaos that swallowed their homeworld. Perhaps, one day, the empire would send a ship back to see what had become of it. But for now, he had to focus on the wellbeing of his people, those he had guided here so long ago. Those whom trusted him, and that he trusted. But with the raising hostility in the universe, one could never be sure whether an attempt on his life would occur...

OOC:
OOC: My mech is in the docking bay with the transport ship. Im planning on getting on the enemy ship soon.
Just remember, the ships still have turrets. You've only gotten started on their arsenal.
Also:
Varsaigen; said:
They are in battle! They wouldn't have simply pointed guns at the intruder D: Its common logic!
Exiles are supposed to be brought back to the homeworld, tortured for info on other Exiles, and then executed in public. And, they didn't have enough time to react after the first blow.
Again, also:
Varsaigen; said:
well, the mech may have been a prototype, but she ditched it to go inside and slap some enemies around with a hammer?
Yeah, she did. So what? Didn't ya think that, maybe, the corridors were too small for the suit?
IC: After walking around the ship for a while, Ahrimaa found the bridge. (Outrunner ships are a bit hard to navigate. After a bit you end up like this: :bored:) As she approaches, an Outrunner stands at a head console, surrounded by an entire retinue of troops.
*sigh* Guess I gotta kill ya myself.
I don't think so, Karne.
As she speaks, Ahrimaa's battlesuit comes crashing through the ceiling, depressurizing the entire room. Only Kharne, who had a Oxygen filter built-in to his system.

Yet the meaning of Exile, is that they were kicked from their home, from their people (into a desolate place sometimes), never to return. Why would they want to bring them back?

Didn't ya think that, maybe, the corridors were too small for the suit?
Easier just to rip your way to the center of the ship... rip it in half. That way, they will be at your mercy, and forced to surrender :p

Elui turned to Kamica:

We are traders of a sort, but we are more like wandering farmers, planters of trees, and tenders of the galactic gardens. We wander the stars in our ships, and we try to beautify the universe, with freedom, and secretly. Laminad saw our greed, and gave us freedom from it, and we have since then sought to stay away from our greed by sharing our abundance silently, and anonymously.

Elui turned towards Amenon:

We were once violent. Conquerers...bound to our palace worlds, rich with our trade routes and scoundrelous trade...lusting for gold, and women.

We were beautiful, and beautified still...but we did not give anything so cheaply...

But it would be best to show you.

Come, I offer you both a tour of my people's world. The life of a Caravan.

Asame nearly yelled into the com:

OOC: if there is no money, things are raised in value, and bartered off, thus was the need for money so you odn't give a lamp for a pig D: If you get rid of money, then people become violent, and raid houses, rape, and pilaging, even murdering, due to their greedy needs. This is why my society strives to improve the lives of its people, ensuring peace and prosperity, and plenty of jobs. And, I can witness the collapse of civilization on your worlds. rofl :p

Elui turned to Kamica:

Money...hmmmn...we have a system of trade within the caravan that replaces money with a more productive form. Favours and such are often the best thing to trade. We are filthy rich by the standards of most races...The thing that we discovered though was this:

"What is the worth of an ingot of gold, if you don't make anything from it?"

We have riches, we have 'money', we trade this 'currency' but we trade it for its artistic value, more so than its rarity.

In our past, we learned the value of a form of currency. We ruthlessly gathered it, but Laminad taught us how to not love it.

Speakin of our past, we have many secrets scattered throughout the universe...we might show you our old worlds someday. This...is actually one of them apparently. Hmmn..

Elui took a thought, and Asame spoke into the com.

My lord, would you like for me to research this planet? Something on Camad might come up...

Elui stood up, Come, let me take you to my caravan.

OOC: IF someone had no artistic ability. But this is the Laminari you are talking about...everyone has a way to beautify the world :p, and if they don't have a talent for making, they can do a favour. We live on ships mostly, in tight knit caravans, so money takes less of a priority with 'family'.

good point. such a limited crowd would become a family of sorts, especially if they rarely get on planets. :p

The admiral arrives at the spaceport in the local military base. His transport prepared, he pulled out a tablet and began working on it, his soldeirs saluting, himself saluting back, befor going back to work, he boarded the transport. Taking a seat with some other members of the military, as well as a mining company CEO, he began planning the constructon of the prototype, looking for strategic places to use it and acquire essential materials for its function. On the way up, the mining CEO began asking him questions related to mining oppertunities within the new nebula. The admiral, pausing as he stopped his work, looked up, turning off his tablet. Simply put, the admiral asked the CEO where he heard of the nebula, and the current dangers of the specific nebula, without detailing the object. The CEO informed him that his ships were well prepared for flares and explosions within nebulas, in the case that the nebula could ignite, or stray asteroids within. The admiral's eyes narrowed, and he spoke, his voice sharp as he informed the CEO of the unknown object that lurked within the nebula, destroying whatever it could find. The CEO laughed, shrugging off the warning as an attempt to keep the nebula for the military's use. The admiral, growled, and returned to his work, but was interrupted as the ship landed within the station's landing bay. The bay, repressurized, soon saw the face of the admiral as he stepped out of the transport. Marines saluted him as he wove his way to the command post, tablet in hand, as he continued plotting out his plan.

OOC: How many times do I have to explain? Our entire planets are mechanized, there are only a few jobs, and everybody just gets what he/she requests, sometimes with a short waiting, but they still get it, that way, people won't get stuff they don't need, as it would only fill up their houses too fast, and status also doesn't come by the stuff you own, but by how good you are at your hobbies, only people who's hobby it is to work, will work, though some hobbies have give more status than others, for example, a soldier has a higher status than a sand racer, a scientist has a higher status than a soldier, a battleship captain has a higher status than a scientist, and a mechanic has a higher status than a battleship captain.

"Admiral on deck!" The sound rang through the bridge. "At ease" The admiral responded, putting his tablet at his side. "Report" As the General gave his report of the defence fleet, the admiral nodded, listening as he looked around the bridge. Officers were hard at work, sending and receiving messages from other ships, as well as focusing on the drone patrols on the outer perimeter. "Very good. Thank you" Was all the admiral said once the general finished his report. "Carry on" As he turned to walk on the bridge, he whiped out his tablet and continued planning.

The battleships and frigates continue to fire at the carrant, flaken smirks as he presses a button on his chair. Missile turrets open up on the battleships and start fireing, explosions appearing in the sky on the planet below them. The soldiers in the ship reloading the turrets and missile turrets on the ship as frequently as they can so that the ship can continue to fire. Mechanic: "Sir! We have a hull breach. The doors in the hall were closed so we wouldnt lose any oxygen." Flaken: "Very well, get that hole patched as quickly as you can." Mechanic: "Yes sir!" Flaken gets up and heads to the launch bay and gets on his mech, soldiers follow him onto launch pods. Flaken moves his mech into a bigger pod, the pods are aimed at there main ship prepared to fire them at it. They fire towards the ship and they prepare to board the enemy vessel.

Kamica followed Elui too, "Well, if you trade things for artistic value, then I might have something" He pulled his sword, and put it on both his hands, as if showing it, it had a golden colour with several red strings all over it, these strings were some sort of a gem, the strings were put in curvy shapes, and the shape of the sword itself was like the blade of a scythe, only smaller "This is my personal sword, It's been made by the greatest weaponsmith that our empire has had in a long time, my grandfather, and I wish to trade it, for technology that you most likely posses regarding food growth, becouse we live on desert planets, food can sometimes be scarse, and I am prepared to trade this most valued heritage for the sake of my people" one of the Koldir outside had overheard them, and disturbed talking started to spawn in between the Koldir

OOC: Ones weapon is his greatest belonging, it's just as important as his own body and soul, a Koldir normally wouldn't even sell his weapon for all the things he could ever desire.)
