The Doranaios Dina flew out of the wormhole at full speed, only just being on time, as the wormhole was becomming unstable and on the verge of collapse "That was a close one" Kamica said "It sure was!" Mapai answered "Contact the wormholeship" "... done" "Wormholeship, have any strange occurrances happened lately?" "Yes, since our sensors came online, we've noticed a... or some ships with the same energy signature as the ones who we first met near this planet" "Okay, I'll take a team to it, you can move on, we will get back to you when we are done" "Ah yes, I've heard your mission was to discover together with us, and maybe even a bit ahead at times" "Yes, I've heard too, I'll be leaving then" "It's good to see you in captains uniform" with that they broke communications "I've already prepared a passenger ship" "Good, I'll be going together with the best swordfighters we've got on this ship" "Understood.... sending them to the transport now".
Kamica arived at the transport, he had put on his armor first, and had taken his plasma sword, which was a true work of art, even when not activated, the other fighters also were in armor and all had individual swords, as swords were to be made by the wearer themselves, to truly represent their owners, and to make sure the wearer could repair their own weapons too. "We'll be inspecting a ship down there, we don't know how they will respond to us, do not draw your weapons unless I order to, or someone has been hit by anything that has the potential to harm him" He said while the transport made it's way to the planet, from the planets surface, the transport could be seen as a dart with a firey tail.

OOC: Back!!! :D

IC: The celebration had ended, and the security perimeter lessened, as sentry turrets, sensors, and beam sentries were left remaining. A few ships, left in patrol around the system, along with the largest collection of drones ever assigned to any structure or ship. Five million drones were assigned to various Drone HUBs across the solar mining station, and stored within 30 massive hangers across the sphere. The latest in security and radar technology was implemented on the station, along with several mag-trains that could allow fast transportation across the station, though even that would take three weeks at best. Those that manned the station were clustered in bio-domes, with their own climates, and anti-gravity to create the gravity field of Shakuras. (the intense gravity of the sun would kill people of any race, but the intense anti-gravity balances it out to a Minshara class planet's gravity similer to Earth's) Repair drones were stored across several sections of the station, maintaining, repairing any damage that could occur, to prolong the death of the station, or until its retirement. As a last resort, the station could even become a safe-haven for entire populations or fleets. The planets of the system were set up with radar stations to boost the radar of the mining station, so security was at its maximum at all times. Mechanics had made sure that the station could provide everything possible for the crew, as well as luxeries, while making sure the station could work at maximum efficiency. Massive gardens, eco-systems, holo-rooms, and almost anything possible in society, was built into the station so the crew would not go insane from lack of activity or things to do. The first of the Sol Mining Stations was complete.

Just a little adjustment here...
*crackling sounds coming from a large glove are heard*
Nice. Mach, the plating?
Initiating test sequence...
...
...
Done.

*thunk* *The plating begins to break* *thunk* *thunk* *CRACK*
Three hits on low power, huh?
*The crackling sound begins to increase in volume*
*thunk* *CRACK*
Well, Mach, looks like the power fist is done.
Indeed. Tests also proved the original theory, one hit on full power could crack the Carrant's armor plate.
*Smiles* Good then. Activate the beacon.
Activating...
Done.

--One hour later--
This is the Carrant. We receive your beacon, Exile. Our ship will be recovered.
Oh, I don't think so. Go ahead and try though. You'll find it easier to just die there and now.
You are too confident. We will blast you and your planet to pieces.

OOC: The beacon can be picked up by anyone.

OOC: OOh, this should be fun >:)

IC: The battle ship picks up the beacon. A soldier looks over at flaken. Flaken: "Alright, find out what that signal is, take us out of hyperspace." The pilots press some dials and pulls some levers and the ships slow down as the slowly exit hyperspace. When they fully exit the ship is close to the planet. They send a few scout drones to examine the planet and find out whats going on on it. The other ships exit hyperspace behind them and stop there ships to wait for orders. Thats when they get a transmission from there 'god'. Ekeo: "Hello flaken, I am sending you a new weapon. We call it mech #001, we just finished it." Flaken: "Y... yes sir. It will be an honor to test our this new device and see its capabilities. And at the perfect time to." Ekeo: "Very well, the ship shall be there soon." The transmission was cut off. A few hours later a transport ship came out of hyperspace and boarded flaken's ship, dropping off the mech and a few mechanics to help teach him how to control it and such forth. They come to him and take him to the mech, showing it. It was black colored with a few red looking gems in the front, the back, and both sides. It had a minigun on its right shoulder and a strange blade in its left hand. He gets in the mech and checks out the controls, the mechanics showing him what does what. He nods and presses a lever, the left arm swinging the blade and nearly hits the inner hull of the ship. Flaken: "Woops. Sorry!" He says to some mechanics for they were walking by and almost got killed. "Wont happen again! I hope." He chuckles a little as the mechanics continue to show him the controls in advanced so he knows what they are and what they do.

OOC: Aw, crap. Now you've got a high-powered mech...
Just a note, the Carrant is a Capital Ship.

IC:
Mach, when is the Carrant due to arrive?
The Carrant is estimated to arrive in 4 days, using the Warp Bubble.
If he doesn't use it?
Closer to a year.
Get the engineering equipment. I'm making myself a battlesuit...

The transport landed out of sight of the two races that were already on the planet, first, a check for breathable atmosphere was done, and breathable atmosphere was confirmed, though temperature was very low, so the armors were charged, and activated to generate heat, then several doors opened on the transport, and all warriors went out, Kamica as the leader, as soon as everybody was out, the doors closed, and the transport left to planet orbit, the group of warriors activated their plasma swords, and began heading for the alien activity.

After awhile flaken learned how to use the mech. He got into a transport ship as do a bunch of soldiers. The bay doors open up and the ship exits the ship, it heads to the planet and floats above some trees, Ahrimaa can see the ship from afar. She sees the men get out but not the mech for it was the first to drop.Flaken(MechRadio): "Alright men, follow my lead, dont want anyone getting lost in this forest." He says, looking at the screen on the inside seeing the outside. Mechanic: "So, how's it running?" Flaken: "Good so far, but we'll see." As the mech walks it pushes trees out of its way. The soldiers following behind. He looks around checking things out as he walks. The transport ship continues to hover there over the trees waiting for there return for when they do return. The gunners on the ship guarding there position. The guards that are with flaken look around as they walk, taking in what they see and checking for life.

OOC: It means umm I can't remember. I think it means smething along the lines of.
Are we worthy of your greatness. Is this why you come?

IC: Amenon looked down taking out a small crystal figure in the likeness of Elui's people. He pointed to the sky and then got on his knees in a worshiping matter. "Laromoniani Leomina Everonimaeno Onimarina Yuaantome Faronimas."

Translation: You are the light that guides our path. Beings of Eternal Greatness. I am not worthy of your presence. Forgive my nature I am awestruken. Hail the Heaven's Glory. Forgive my unworthiness.

Elui still not understanding the language spoken, had guessed however what they were doing.

He put his hand on Amenon's shoulder, placed his hand on his chest and bowed to Amenon to show equality.

We are not gods, we are servants to the one path.

Stand, and face us with equal eyes.

Amenon stepped back shocked by the touch. He began to cry tears of joy and embraced Elui in a hug. "Arenaonigunati Ainomalion."

Translation: You look on us as equals let us all grow in greatness by your presence. Though you will always be great in my eyes.

Just then the old translator in the back began bursting out things in a smooth robotic voice in the tongue of Elui.

IC: The fleet resumed normal operations, and as the flagship of the fleet was preparing to jump, the admiral noticed a news ship nearby. It had appareantly been there during the celebration, and the admiral knew that on many worlds, a wonderful story could be shared as fuel would become plentiful to the systems under Black Sun control.

Kamica just got over the hill, and was looking at the scene, it were the natives to the planet, and unknown aliens, who had very strange ships, unlike anything Kamica had ever seen "Sir, those ships look somewhat familliar" "Oh?" "Yea, images of scout ships that went into the zone of no return, were able to get, and send pictures of weird structures, that looked a bit like these ships... but less organic... Let me retrieve the picture" the warrior tapped some buttons on his arm, and then a hologram came above it, showing a picture of something very hard to see, but it did look a little bit like them "Well, they're not agressive to our new friends, so I guess we can advance, de-activate your swords, but don't sheath them just yet... be ready for everything, ready? Advance" and they started to move towards the two races, over the hill, and in plain sight, especially becouse their armors are black against the white snow.

Amenon look up to the translator that by now had been blabbering on stuff in his own language. He realized it was translating them. "It works! The translator had been around I guess in an older version of their language. Therefore with a little twicks it was able to ajust to the new language. Now we can understand each other!"

He looked to his right up the hill and saw a number of black armored people desending. He took his rifle off quickly and the guards did the same forming a line facing the intruders. "Aramenag I'ron!" He yelled to the approaching people.

Translation: Halt and state your business on I'ron!

Elui was quite pleased at the success of the diplomatic negotiations, and equally pleased that he had prevented what could very well have been a terrible blunder...Later stating in his journal.

I could only imagine the chaos that would occur if we, being mere mortals, were raised up to be gods. How mighty our fall would have been...again.

Laminad would not have been pleased...

He stood up with his new ally, and gazed at the new comers in black armour.

Two races we have met today...I hope I brought enough snacks for everyone.

He thought with a slight smile. His bright eyes and white form blending in the snow as he turned.

He gazed at his ships to see if they were prepared for such an encounter...surely the weapons could easily take them, and the shields he and his guard were wearing were more than a match for these...strangely...melee warriors. It had been a century or two since he had seen warriors in bladed ships, it was a mighty battle if he recalled, the deft craft and sword play cast against the dark stage of space, glimmering stars veiled by the onslaught of daggers with engines, their exhaust blazing forth in trails of orange and red, matched by the explosions of lesser gunships as their hulls were ripped asunder.

He was a child then, a mere son of a caravan pilgrim, hidden in the nebulae nearby, gleefully, and sadly did they watch the show. He recalled what one of his friends, a pilgrim girl, had said that day:

We were violent once, eons ago.

Underneath the surface of hidden planets, and buried deep in our alabaster skin, lies a blackened past, of ruthless greed, and lustful conquering. When our ships were made more of steel, than of bio-metalics. Our history was mighty, and great, but it was also very much like this scene played before you by these younger races.

Look as we hide in the nebulae to see our history unfold, see how deft and beautiful the ships are? Wonderfully crafted, and manned on both sides by proud, and beautiful warriors? And yet my brother...they fight for something strange, territory, and material. Temporary things, that will rust and change over time, and be lost entirely in the end.

This is why we wander, underneath the grace of Laminad. Because our blackened selves, can always resurface, if the black temptations are given embrace.

Elui...Elui...ELUI!

Elui was startled out of his daydream by the voice of Asame.

Daydreaming again?

Yes.

OOC: rofl. yet material gains help make sure you aren't wiped from existance :p

IC: The flagship exited outside the defences of SHakuras, the capital planet of the Black Sun "empire". Issuing few orders, other than usual duty, the flagship soon departed to explore a new system recently located within a nebula. Three cruisers, and two corvettes were brought along for security purposes. One never knew what lurked within the nebula...

OOC: Oh dear... Nebulas... the old territory of Elenai's race XD)

IC: Kamica held his hand up, as a sign for the rest of his warriors to stop, it also revealed the spike on his elbow (so you might recocnise them XD) and he then headed to the person, who he recocnised "Forgetting me that fast?" Kamica said, it was automatically being translated by Mapai, as soon as he got a lot closer, he took off his helmet "I'll re-introduce myself, I am Rank 1 battleship captain Kamica Anera, at your service"

In the sky, a large dark-blue portal opens. Through it, a large ship can be seen (OOC: Think Battlestar Galactica). Around it, several frigate ships and three carriers stand ready. All at once, the massive ships charge through the opening.
On-planet, Ahrimaa stands and looks up at the sky, then, not caring whether Flaken sees her or not, runs with all speed toward her ship. Using a special link, she sends a message to her AI.
As she arrives, the platform lowers, and the ship flies off into space.

Meanwhile, at Flaken's position, plasma beams are raining down from the heavens.

Drion started his work on Bioengineering by making a new race. He worked for hours and hours before resting. The Holis gods would be so proud that their creation is making more life forms. Then he got back to work on the new race.

Not necessarily :p I dunno if it is one that has an old bio weapons platform or not :p Black Sun already controls a few nebulas for gas mining, with a nano-steel fist! >:D (not literally :p But they are heavily guarded)

IC: The ships exited the subspace portals, and were immediantly enveloped in nebulonic clouds. With little to see except brilliantly colored clouds, the ships turned their eyes to the radar. A few radar pods were deployed in each direction, drifting further away till at a certain distance. The pods eventually reached their dstinations, and, providing a larger veiw of the area, showed... "Nothing..." The admiral looked up towards the clouds in the veiw screen, and around the bridge. He spoke, "Release thirty drones. set them up for surveiliance. send them off all at once. Spread them out. I want them searching this nebula for the pods to have a clear path for a larger surveiliance field." The admiral looked stressed, and partially troubled. If there was anything in this nebula, he would have to act quickly to set up surveiliance to keep from being caught off guard...

OOC: I wasn't really planning to find much of anything. perhaps only a bio weapons platform, or a few ships, but nothing else. :/ I always have plans for nebulas. :p Always a way to use them :p

OOC: Bio weapons 'platform' isn't exactly accurate...

It is more like...a small moon of tempered bio-steel with enough automated weapons and defense craft to wipe out a small planet, but now that they are derelict and dis-repaired the AI have literally gone insane, and will without mercy, obliterate anything that enters the nebulic waves. They are the epitome of the violent tenancies of a power that ruled an ancient, and terrible empire.

The secrets within that ship...are perilous...and many are forgotten...floating graveyards...wrapped in spacial plant life...and the wreckage of ill fated fleets...

Not even the full strength of a Laminari caravan fully armed cannot take one and live.

Then you would have to subdue the inner defenses, and the core...and then take on the AI, and his/her guard. (Laminari AI are different from other AI, they are not holograms, but living creatures connected to the ship, and its interfaces.)

But of course...no one knows about that :p The Laminari are mysterious...people of legend and myth.

They can talk any languages and translate any text.

Not text...Text is something you cannot translate from just 'seeing it', especially the Old Laminari texts on their interfaces.

The language is already a dead one unheard by all the other races (except just recently Gath and his very old, probably very rare translator, and even it cannot translate text). So text and writing is not approved.

However, translating language is possible, if they are telepathic.

OOC: well, I didn't think I was in the nebulonic waves D: just drifting, ever expanding nebulonic fields. :/

IC: The admiral continued to watch the radar as the drones expanded their sight. Suddenly, a red blip appeared and the drone was destroyed. "What was that?" The admiral grimly asked, aggitated with the tought his ships now had a blind spot. "I don't know, sir. We object never got into the drone's sight." growling at this news, the admiral walked slowly to the middle of the room, his steps heavy, his hands flexing open and close, showing his claws appearing and disappearing in his fist. He stopped, looking hard into the nebulonic clouds, his senses hard as rock as he felt the presence of the unknown object just 5000 kilometers from the front of the fleet's forward radar pod. "Tell the pods and survey drones to halt." He spoke sharply, his anger evident. "Send thirty drones to the last location of the destroyed drone. Have them move in patterns X, O, and I. Have them go at full speed towards the object and within 50 meters, change course to speed around the object. have the cameras set up for all frequencies. I want to see what this thing is..." The bridge stared at the admiral. They rarely saw his anger. And never because of the loss of a drone. What they didn't know, was that the admiral feared what he may find in the nebula, and knowing a blind spot, from the destruction of even one drone, could be lethal. He had other alternatives. He could resort to them, but he wasn't about to cause the destruction of several other ships just to find out what it was. His drones were the best alternative.

Flaken presses a button in the mech and the mech gets on its knees as something strange comes out of its back and covers him and his troops. The cannons on my battle ships and frigates start fireing at the ones fireing on my position. Fighters coming out of the ships to fight as well. While her ship heads to space a shadow tracking beacon gets shot onto it. The beacon unnoticeable to anyone but the shadows.

"Good.... could Mapai, that's our new AI, have the translator data for their race? I'd like to talk to them, they seem to have increadible biological technology." Kamica said, then from his translator came the words "Yea, so they can replace me with some biological thing? Tss" "Mapai, this is an important diplomatic meeting, no need for your rebellion to show up!" Kamica answered annoyed.

"I have no idea how to work our translator irs completely alien in its works our people have been wondering about it for generations. I always bring it with me as sort of a good luck and hopeing for a chance it would actually work. So I don't know how to load the data into anything. Maybe the translator can translate into our langauge and then your translator translate into your language. And then you talk and your translator translates into our language and our translator translates into their language and so on?"

As for your recent encounter, I'll let your drones come before I reveal the tentacle of the kraken's wrath ^_^

This should be fun though.

Note: The laminari race does not control these bio-metal monstrosities, and neither does my character, think of them as 'major obstacles' or 'Dungeon Master controlled world events' that make the story interesting, and put a 'cap' on strength to prevent god modding and such. (I designed this idea as a test of sorts :D)

Yes, it shall be fun >:3 I know it isn't under your control :p And I figured I would lose these drones anyway. I'm sure that in this nebula, I would lose my entire fleet to it if I didn't do it right.... I just thought of something that could work rofl. XD

We shall see how this plays out... >:3

IC: The drones neared the location of the lost drone. Nearly there, they turn towards the last known location of the object. Suddenly, as the admiral watched the screen showing all of their veiws, each drone boosted forwards. The group spread out, shifting all power to engines to increase the boost. The entire pattern began rotating, and soon spread out to cover the entire hull of the object (to see it. not landing :p They are all moving across it, sensors and cameras on.) The first glimpses of the object appeared, and as data started streaming in, Drone 03 was lost, its screen staticy, soon off. A hologram at a nearby station began to be made, and the admiral watched as tiny details began to add themselves to the overall image. The drones had a long gauntlet ahead before they would be able to get a clear image of the object...

OOC: The spiraling formation makes sure they can't be picked off easily. But now, all 30 drones are moving across the hull, gaining data on its shape and basic scans on materials. (metal or organic :p) The hologram is only showing a tiny section at the moment, and as the drones spread across the hull, their data will fill it in a bit more :p And, being drones, completly automated, they can go speeds that pilots would have a hard time piloting in, much less react to obstacles. :p But, they can be picked off :p Its hard for even drones to fight a structure hiden in a nebula that could disrupt their circuits, much less fight an enshrouded object. :p

OOC: lol, how many drones do you have to cover the hull of a moon sized object? :p

As for your spiral information...MUAHAHAHAHA!

___

As the drones came near the hidden bio-metal monstrosity, the sensors pinged their locations one, by one, and yet in the brief span of mere seconds, gathering their locations, and calculating their vectors through vast underground interface networks in the miles and miles of the catacomic core that housed the now ruthless AI...

Aiden...

Numinfel, adath...Numinfel...adath...

The AI's cold, deep voice echoed through out the vast sphere.

He lifted his cold body from the interface throne, his eyes staring out into the void from the bio-metalic mass that had become his fortress, over run with the verdant death of his cellulose hull.

Fight fire...with fire...The flies with the fell sweep...Lightning in the sea...

The sphere began to gather energies from its core, and flung each little drop through the veins of the ship...gathering it...shepherding it...

And with a wave of his hand...

Numinfel...thou shalt encircle me...as a girdle of death...

With the wave of his hand, the energies gathered burst forth from the sphere, and like a bolt of lighting across misty rain, it seared over the particles of dust, gas, and debris that made up the nebula, overloading the drones, jumping across them as they flew, jumping, jumping, jumping! Burning them in the bolt, their fried wreckage now floating helplessly adrift...became caught in his orbit, encircling him in a thin ring of dead metal, and ash.

Numinfel...vanquished.

__________

Numinfel = intruder

Adath = alert

But you guys don't know this :p

He is speaking in the dead language of Laminari, of a dialect that is even older than the unknown language of the current Laminari. (Even the english portion is actually "Laminari", I just haven't yet created a vocabulary for it, so I have to use english)

What you hear, (when Aiden speaks) is like the booming, robotic, echoing voice of an angel of death gone insane, speaking in a language lost for thousands of years.

IC: The drones monitors on the flagship flashed red and turned black instantly. All connections with the drones were lost. There mission complete, the flagship now had an image of almost half of the structure. The recon drones retreated to the flagship, towing the radar bouys with them. Once inside, the announcement to the other ships was given, to prepare to head back. Seconds later, the ships were moving into the shimmering blue waves of the subspace portals. (it does lead to tunnels. it is never instantanious :p)

OOC:
The beacon unnoticeable to anyone but the shadows.
Seriously? How do you NOT notice this small thing that is transmitting your coordinates?
IC: Seeing the fighters launch from Flaken's ships, Ahrimaa heads straight for the Carrant.
Mach? Could you-
Battlesuit ready. I'll take over the controls.
After a minute, a mechanical figure jumped out of the ship. It's jetpack roared, and white flame poured from the ends.

OOC: CLIFFHANGER! I hate it when I do that to myself...
