Naga 1v1_v2

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

The creator is not a native English speaker, so some sentences may sound slightly awkward.


There are no special features. Players start with standard melee conditions identical to the original game.
This map was simply created to offer a straightforward battle against the Naga AI.

The Naga AI was created using the AI Editor, so don't expect sophisticated micromanagement or intelligent decision-making.

Both Normal and Hard modes are available, but Hard mode is recommended for a more engaging experience.



In Hard mode, one of the following three AI types is randomly selected:

1. Normal Build
  • Launches moderate attacks and poses a balanced threat. In the late game, its army composition is centered around Coatls.
  • This is the most common AI type and has the highest chance of appearing.

2. Fast Build
  • Starts with an ultra-early rush, followed by aggressive attacks throughout the early and early-mid stages of the game.
  • Early rushes can be difficult to defend against if you're unprepared.
  • From the mid-game onward, it behaves similarly to the Normal Build.
  • This AI type is most likely to appear when the player is Night Elf, and slightly more likely with Undead compared to Human or Orc.

3. Triple Build
  • Does not launch any attacks during the early and mid-game.
  • Instead, it rapidly expands to control three gold mines, preparing for a powerful late-game assault.
  • This is the only AI build that operates three gold mines simultaneously and actively constructs Tidal Guardians, making it increasingly difficult to break through as time goes on.
  • This is the least likely AI type to appear.

Main attack routes of the player and the Naga.
The Naga has a shorter rush distance by crossing directly over the sea toward the center of the map,
while the player must take a longer route along the outer edges of the map.

Additionally, the Naga can expand more quickly since they don't need to clear neutral creep camps before establishing new bases.



The Naga faction starts with early defensive towers to help withstand early aggression from the player.
Their Hall building can detect invisible units and is also capable of attacking.
Additionally, the Naga main Hall includes a healing mechanic for low-health units — a feature not found in standard gameplay.

However, the Naga gains no resource advantages from any triggers, and aside from increasing the movement speed of Mur'gul Reavers, none of the Naga unit stats have been modified.


This map was originally created with Korean as the base language.
While some early-game instructions have been translated into English, certain unit names or other text elements may appear garbled due to Korean characters.

Additionally, the map may contain bugs, as it was not initially intended for public release.
If you encounter any issues, feel free to report them — I’ll do my best to fix them promptly.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Hey, this is actually pretty good. I'd love to edit this for my personal needs, but it doesn't seem to start on World Editor. Unless this is intended, is there any way to edit this?

It says this when attempt to start it: Trigger function does not exist in database: Destroy Trigger

And then it crashes.

Before I begin, please understand that I’m using a translation tool.
I didn’t intentionally block access to the map; in fact, I’d be honored if you took a look at it. However, I suspect this issue arose while I was adding Korean-language UI elements to my World Editor. Since I’m a complete beginner when it comes to the World Editor, I can’t say for certain that my explanation is correct.
