Mr Bob you crazy old fool

Funny how people can think alike . My trial of thoughts exactly.

I like its death animation - But I would have wished for some signs of life on the station... Like moving lights on the buildings, cars traveling between the station parts ( could be done just with particles) or similar... Else I really like the idea and the plain texture is fine for an outer space building (though adding the life to it, would decrease the plain look as well )

That's Huge Mr Bob ! Great model !

BTW, here's a new WIP : currently working on Both Texture and UVWrapping

UVWrap is missing on the whole left arm, the head, the "Ivyne" (the red thing underneath the chest) and the branches. I'll add more of it later.

Once the UVWrap is done, I've to work harder on the texture 'cause it does't really look like wood IMO. Hope to finish it soon (kinda busy because of "homework").

shit, i meant to give more pictures idk what happened, i'll add them later when i get back on my pc.

EDIT: nvm i'll add more later when it's better

I have a hard time saying if it looks good, as I have no idea what it is... Is it an arm? (If so, then it have some well defined muscles) An arm and a leg?

A one legged monster?

Sure, looks fine for what it is - Dunno if it looks fine as something else

yeah it's supposed to be the half of it, il duplicate it later

the furglewurgle made me lol

as for HC's 4arm anubis.... i like the UV wrap on the chest and the skirt, that came out very nice. But i agree with mulgrim about the strange looking legs. You need to flesh out the legs and the toes. Right now they just look like skinny tubes. Make the toes a bit thicker at the ankle and the lower leg thicker at the knee. for example
image.axd

otherwise its lookin good everyone

Mad choice of colours, yes, but that's intentional.
The red colour on the cap is supposed to be team colour.
Still have to texture teeth and inner mouth.

I think it could do with some more shadow on its head since it is under a big mushroom thing after all.

Could use a better blending between the arms and the body. Otherwise it's awesome!

@DVO: I don't think they will look smoother, since they seem to use different parts of the texture. I am not certain about those hooves, too. I guess everybody is having problems with feet here...lol. Awesome model, though.

@RED_BARON: It isn't supposed to be a statue-thing. I just thought about doing an alternate form as a statue, and my colossus being trapped inside of it, so it comes out of it suddenly. But that statue feeling is somewhat the thing I'm going after. =)

I'm gonna change the feet of my model to normal feline feet. I hope it looks good.

:/ mr.bob.... just.... :/ followed by a short :? and possibly a o_O

death animation.... *sigh* "scaling:3300" on a particle emitter .... i like the spinning in the stand anim... but i cant imagine anyone logically building the outskirts of a city first before the building the center ( and making them float down :p )

but it is pretty damn epic size, definitely a city i dont know why the centerpiece isnt moving/spinning... nor why it has a giant gaping crater in the middle of it. anywho. creative, sort of like your original floating city idea but this one is less fanciful, more futuristic. the render makes it e***ulate glistening awesomesauce.

anyways.... im workin on my submission :/ its going slowly... but steadily

Ok, um... yeah. D: Followed by a -.- and then a short XD

About the death anim...did you by any chance read the description..?

Then, if you don't like the spin, use stand alternate.

The giant pit in the middle is an arena. Or anything you darn want it to be.

Thanks though! :D

/me feels mischievous today...

Pyra, what's up with the freaky masks on the guys' faces. You put them about on every model you make don't you... :p

Seriously though, they look weird. Are the men supposed to be human, or some sort of a zombie\mutation\alien thing? Knowing you, and judging by the texture, it's most likely the second, but I'm unsure. Otherwise, it looks pretty epic.

DVO, I don't like the crazy colors... And as Pyritie said, the shading under the mushroom is too red, should be more black. Check with Blizzard models, like most of the goblins that has hats.

Mr.Bob, looks pretty.. collosal. In a good way, that is. You should make it float up n' down, though, since right now it looks too static, even with the rotation animation.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

i didnt say i didnt like the spin. i said that i thought that the centerpiece should be moving as well. And yes i read the description of the death animation.... im still disappointed :/

as for pyramidhead... holy fuck that looks awesome... creepy o_O but awesome (he needs teef :p)

Whats wrong with the death? D:

Hmm...I may end up making a 4th model. I shall not stop till all teh modelers like my model! :D

EDIT: btw, to tell you the truth guys, I wasn't real happy with it either. Mostly because of the texture. D:

Umm...yeah. I made a very VERY VERY freaking epic new model for the compo, but I uh...animated it on the wrong axis...D:

Is there any way to turn a model 90 degrees and still keep the anims? Wether in 3ds max or in WC3? Or even possibly magos?

Btw, jojomondag, Autodesk Mudbox Human shape ftw, eh? ;)

You can try oinkerwinkle's Geoset Translator. I never managed to do it successfully, but I guess it works.

Mr.Bob, if you have a root bone that is the parent of all the other bones, rotate it to the correct position in the beginning and in the end of each and every animation. If you don't have a bone like that, then just make it. This way you can fix many stuff, like incorrect scaling and incorrect facing.

The are not connected at all. D: It's a big transforming hovercraft thing.

That's ok, it had a few anim problems anyway. I'll just reanimate. : ) Can't take too long.

Since I'm a generous person I'm giving my lil friend another weapon:

(some wrap issues still to be fixed...)

Good handle. Bad blade. Make it a golden scythe. :D
