Uhm no, actually you can make your hero match the abilities given to him more
One person I know is making a Thunder oriented hero using the Blood Mage as the base model
Now tell me, wouldn't it look nice with some sort of actual thunder oriented BM skin than the normal game one?

Err, I think that if you can find a creative use for anything, then you should go for it.
Judging off of what pretty model you can download is just retarded. Granted, if it helps the theme, you should go for it, but it's not like you can say "ZOMG UZES COSTUM MODUL, BEST HERO EVAR!!!111"
I didn't use a custom model because an ingame model simply fit my theme the best, and worked the best. Doesn't mean my hero is lacking or anything..
Anyways, I created a new ultimate idea, though I want to get it more finalized version, that works, before I announce anything.

Hmm ok I will.

-First of all hero is too weak lol. Even the tinker can beat him without spells. I tested him against the tinker and he is so weak without his ultimate. Well increase his power a bit lol.

- or + Well I don't really know but I don't think Paladins have anything to do with darkness or shadows. I mean, they are the defenders of light.
-Leaks
-Not MUI. Making it MUI is done with variables attached to your hero. You just pointed your hero in " select unit " which makes it non MUI and causes some problems.
Other than that, it's nice. Just fix 'em up!

BTW what does "FF" mean? -- My hero is done. I'll post it tomorrow or later.
 
There is a reason he is weak:
His siege attacks make him the best 'first resort' if your going on expansion-base assaults, as the only things built are usually towers & a townhall with minimal guards.

If your facing the undead or ancients then the aura kicks in and slows them. Enough that even Mortar Teams can escape the Death Knight, even with his aura. Its also hilarious to watch ancients try to chase after you, cause its like they can't even move once in his auras influence.

He is weak for this reason:
He puts emphasis on uprading, his low mana is also heavily influenced by this, as he gains power through:
Studded Leather
Iron Forged Swords
Iron Forged Armor
Storm Hammers
Priest Adept Training

If done right, your base becomes very well made, if you want to make the hero more powerful quite quickly.

Aspect of Rathas is a spell devoted to the original maps Dark God, Rathas. He gave the Battlechest Paladin powerful shadow magicks to defeat the Undead.

Battlechest worked well enough with Shadow Aspect (mana potions needed) and he becomes VERY fast and strong.

Think about in a melee game, if your facing 3 undead teams, you have the obvious advantage in large assaults with your siege warriors. Against live units, you have the disadvantage, unless your siege units can be brought into the base itself. Therein lies the issue, with the Battlechest Paladin and 10 mortar teams in a Night Elf base with little room, they will get killed off very easily. That is unless he has Mare Aura. On a more pressing matter, his slow movement and low attack speed balance the minor things that make his use in combat essential.
 
Well its great in late game, i've found that if you have two mortar teams, 5 knights, 10 footmen and a group of dragonhawks aswell as a fully upgraded Battlechest Paladin you can level a base quite easily, rather than having to waste mass resources on the same group and ending up with a dead archmage, hiding paladin or mana-depleted MK.

Shinigami Wars,is my new map,that will be started tomorow,it is a genre were you have a hero and can summon units in an interval of time,each unit has its own playability and gameplay.It is interesting and captivating,a map that deserves hours,why not days? of playing on Bnet ,I planned a terrain that no one saw,units out of this world.

It will be something that has dignity for 2008

Your hero is quite impressive, Cool. but I haven't looked at the triggers yet. He's maybe a tine bit overpowered, but that's not much. I also think the Blade which appears when you die doesn't move enough, I think. Also there's a bug. When you have a full inventory, and you use stormblade(don't know if this applies to elemental blades aswell...) it drops on the ground, and other people can pick it up. I reccon this isn't supposed to happen.

@Equal: Your hero sports some nice abilities, maybe not the most advanced stuff, but if it's JESP, it's really nice! The only thing is, you might wanna brush up on your english a little, the tooltips had a little bad grammar.

I made a trigger to fix that, but it doesent work,
I dont know if its allowed,
If it is can you check the trigger, [weaponremove2]
And yes it applies for elemental blades aswell.

I also think the Blade which appears when you die doesn't move enough

I think i can fix this.

      • Item - Remove (Random item in (Entire map) matching ((Item-type of (Matching item)) Equal to Water Blades))
      • Item - Remove (Random item in (Entire map) matching ((Item-type of (Matching item)) Equal to Lightning Blades))
      • Item - Remove (Random item in (Entire map) matching ((Item-type of (Matching item)) Equal to Fire Blades))

BTW: You also have a bug with the energy release. When you've gotten maximum energy you get a message saying you have maximum. This also reapperes whenever you require a new energy ball from that point on. You may also consider removing the attack from the energy ball...

EDIT- Insane,oh my god,it dies as fast as lightning speed,or kills,it is good,that first spell is something that I never saw.None- theless your hero is good and it proves to be insane at the same time

It lacks stats,he cant cast many spells,just all of them once and no more back fire,he remains harmless

Event- Roh casts a spell
Condition- spell = stormblade AND item slots on Roh = 6
Action- remove last created item
[should i use your way, i dont know which is better. yours looks better]

I dont know what you mean by the energy problem...
When you absorb 6 energy Roh cant absorb any more, so it destroys the energy unless you cast a Release Energy spell and use up the energy you currently have.
