He could also just paint the entire ship black >.>, it's after all realy hard to see something in space, especially from a distance, for example, it's very hard for scientists today to find black holes with only the human-visible wavelengths ... (IE visible colours)

DarkKnight, painting the thing black isn't going to help any. Sure, they may not see you, but they can still see you on radar. My ships have a holographic map for radar, which shows their positions. Also, blackholes absorb ALL light, not just the wavelengths we see. It's why they're black. All scientists have to do is look for black spots in space. All the other areas of space have light in it, except for black holes. and guess what? black holes move. XD

The Laminari would fight fire with fire in this case: We like to hide as well until we locate the warp trail or the distorting effect caused by cloaking where light is refracted un-naturally, most likely due to a distorting of the fabric of space around the ship via a modified warp, or sub-space drive.

Wait a moment...that is an interesting idea....hmmmn..

The ship is bigger than the pilot yes but it is invisible to radar, just like the stealth bombers but they are smaller, only eligible to hold one pilot and no bombs (they dont know anything about bombs...) It can be seen with your eyes but if your not paying attention you can miss it.

In other words, it's not a massive battleship with white background colour under red and orange hot-rod flames >.>

and Sacrid, I was only talking about visible light, and black holes do emmit x-rays if I'm not mistaken.... or some other kind of radiation, but they do emmit something... (Atleast, when they have a disc around them)

My "Oh my god, something very VERY bad involving ancient melonari(?) technology is going to happen nearby" sense is tingling (Whoa, I've got a sense for that? AWESOME! Wait... what did I trade it for then? GAAAAAAAH I lost my common sence >.<

Just need more powerful engines, and you'll shoot past them, and pull in close to do damage. :p The fact of cruisers being mellee is kindof a joke though :p But, at intense speeds, like my drones (very fast :p very lightweight for a fighter), pilots would have problems, so, a drone is much more efficient. :p I, however, seem to be the only person to use drones in combat. Oo Talk about origionality! :D My whole empire if drones! XD

Well, my ships in general, becouse of lack of a ship-based FTL travel, my ships are already rather fast, however, as Elenai said, I should get a blink abillity, and I already have an idea =D, Using several ships, that will point at one point in space, shoot a certain beam at exactly the right moment, which makes a wormhole, and a wormholeship (Or something else) that would be at the army side, so that the army can blink forward =D, though it needs some more thought... any suggestions?

But I planned on defeating the kraken D: If you keep adding to your arsenal, I'll never be able to beat it D: I already exerted a lot of resources into the three assualts on it and failed... why add another level of difficulty? One level was already added when you altered the subspace drive D: You got transportation and 2-3 super weapons because of it. Why add more? XD

hyper space, FTL... anything else that your ship ahs been designed for? Subspace perhaps? -.- (sarcasm. You are not claiming subspace as an alternative. It took the CHozo years to discover it. Even seeing it in use wouldn't be enough to shorten the science and experimental time for the device. Hands off my subspace drive. >:3) Ships are specifically designed for certain forms of trans-system transportation. It is very difficult to produce one capable of multiple forms, not to mention costly. Chozo ships, for example, are not built to withstand hyperspace and other forms of warp travel, while other species' ships would not be built to handle the vibrations of subspace, much less be overly successful in moving into subspace's layer. Different vibrations and strains. A sphere would be the best, being the strongest shape, but due to the need for engine placement, loses some structural integrity. So, that ships would be very alone in it's classed fleet, a 1 member species, much like the BSJ Shakuras. Both ships would be a fortune to build. My flagship for it's complex design and weapons systems, as well as other primary systems, and yours due to structural strength and multi-drive capabilities. So... have dun with your FTL/Warp drives. You'll need all the shields you can get with all the debris you'll be crashing through :p

Solmaster, the lagacy of the Holis? I didn't know their legacy was in danger. You didn't state that he started off in a galaxy when you started, only saying it when he was moving.

Who would accept an alien Healer? He could use that guise to kill them with an advanced disease.

You need a lot more detail on the ship. Just saying that it can be manned by one person, has long ranged weapons (what kind of weapons?), and diffewrent warp engines? You said it was advanced, what makes it advanced compared to anything else in this RP? Also, you have no shields.

I do not approve of the aspect of a ship having multiple forms of warp travel. I can kindof see the Kraken having it, but it would have to reconfigure its hull to prevent itself from being damaged in the process.

You didn't put much of any detail on the guy, basically telling us what he looks like, but ignoring the parts about detailed history, capabilities, and most importantly, characteristics. He's got too long of a name, and should only be called Savak. You never did say what his job was, and why, and what's the cause for this legacy nonsense?

Even the Laminari/Melodari are only capable of having advanced Warp Drives on their ships...even The Kraken can only use warp drives to travel, he can't maintain more than one method of FTL travel, even with his massive size, massive energy production grids, and exceedingly massive mainframe.

Still, I think you need to replace "Galaxy" with "System", as we've said countless times before.

As for this character, as well as the race itself so far....seems to be suspiciously leaning towards imitating the Laminari. :/

Silverskin, glowing eyes, priest-wizardesque like nature...not saying you can't have them, I'm just saying, that so far you've been a bit "riding my tail" with your latest lore. Most notably these "Unities".

He's like a little kid. :D He wants to mimic you Elenai! It's a compliment! XD (as annoying as it is to have copycats in RPs -.-) As long as he doesn't get too close, a line he's almost crossing, then he's just about fine. I find the lack of origionality... disturbing, seeing as he is trying to be like the Laminari instead of making his race different in more ways than just being energy-based life. Technologically, as long as he doesn't copy Chozo and signiture technology of various races, I don't have much of a problem with him. (Building warp gates from pictures and basic scans is rather daring, and just begging for a Chozo attack, though. It's one of the signiture peices of technology from the Chozo, how they are able to forcefully funnel warp-capable ships through one by one, and also connect systems in a one-way link) Any more mimicing of race-specific technology, and he could have a lot of angry fleets after him. :p

Well, mimicing technologically would count as an offense to certain players, right? We strive hard to make our race origional, and find a duo of races gets one look at your tech and mimics it with almost complete perfection? I thought over every bit of my technology and he seems to have brilliant scientists if he can takes pictures of my warp gates and build his own from surface scans. Honestly, he seems to advance a bit too quickly, having red matter missiles capable of causing super novas, time altering devices (of which he has begun to justify with ancient Melodari-Holis&Fredolis history) and might end up attempting to mimic other technologies, if he hasn't already. (I haven't kept track of all the technologies he's worked on and used. :/)

I do find the humor in his supposed epic strategy against Behemoth, where it could have worked, had the Kraken not acquired one of my cruisers. :/ I still think Behemoth would have survived, though. :/

He does advance far too quickly: Though to clear up some things it was my lore-work that justified some of his usage: IE: the time dilation fields + the bombardment of my Melodari warmachine to produce his energy-status beings, and the death of the Fredolis. But since then, time dilation devices have been rendered obsolete and useless in the face of warp-offensive technology.

As for his missles, yes they are very overpowered, a supernova is extremely....well it requires a whole star, you can't fit a star in a missile and call it conventional warfare. Fascinatingly enough, and as you said, Behemoth totally denied his attack plan with the use of a warp portal. (I wasn't going to deal with being blown up for no reason by a cheap suicide attack).

Even if it were not for the cruiser (which took a whole mainframe to turn into a warp based thing....a whole mainframe!)

I do think Behemoth would have won still. Probably would have had his 9'million servants go out and disarm the ships, and divert them. Worst case scenario the actual "Monster" (The Core) would have simply ejected out of the outer shell and fought Sanctuary, being atleast the size of a massive ship anyway, and fully capable of taking on Sanctuary while the outer shell was blown apart, then after the fight, he would have merely went out and regrown a stronger, more powerful shell.

=3, I think I made a slight mistake though when making the character, I think the more accurate race for him would be Melodari, however, since he lost all his memory of his past, he is a harmless one =3, and Lonai is actualy looking at your ship, trying to sneak closer while in full bio-armor with only two holes to peer through =3.

Hey, my race does have it originality. The A photon weapons, the fold drives, the mass ion nets, the Grav dampeners, Ect. This tech is based in Energy and going a little bit in bio and robotic.

everything runs on energy.

Oh, and I found out exactly what the beam cannons are. They are actually photon beams, and seeing as the Freespace beam cannons are what my ships, and sacrid's Vultarans use, they are officially photon beams. :/ So, overall, it would appear beam weapons are a signiture between sacrid and myself. :p So, as far as photon weaponry goes, it's not origional, but the method of delivery of said photons is specific between races. A standard would be the series of single shots, while beam cannons fire a stream of dense photons into the target. Beam cannons have a better chance of pushing through shields than the standard single shots, thus the requirement of strong shields on Chozo ships. :p As well as the dense plating. :p

So, with your ships, your attempting to use fold drives, and hyperspace? (of which, appareantly, subspace is a variation of, but simply on a different plane and with a different form of entry.Subspace seems to be a cross between normal and hyperspace, I guess. :/)

Ok, this group has no sense of humor.
My photon weapons use A/D type to create a force able sustain a bladed edge. So Photon melee weaponry, is consistent with the Holis. No, I don't have the beam cannon version, I have photon laser cannons but those are generally weaker.
The fold drive is fun to use. Once I have a beacon up on enemy territory, I have fold in and do so heavy damage. No, you are not the target of this plan.
Subspace. I now use Fold Matrix as form of long range transportation. IT faster then subspace. It usually takes minutes instead of hours or days. Info on fold space.

I dunno about the time difference between fold and subspace. While both are variations of hyperspace (along with slipstreams, warpspace, and a myriad of others), the two commonly take minutes between nearby systems. However, while subspace is a couple minutes at most between neighboring systems, the long distance travel between Chozo and Koldir space, or the halfway point (Kraken's nebula) take a few hours on a direct path. It is much longer until reaching central Chozo territories with warpgates. So, depending on the distance, they are usually the same.

Foldspace, however, is simply crumpling up the galactic map, and traveling the new distance. So, theoretically, you could easily travel vast distances in a matter of minutes, but run into problems with the required amount of energy to do so. So, I think the amount of energy before recharge would result as skipping a few systems at a time before dropping back to normal.

But, the Chozo will be upgrading a few of their ships with more powerful jump drives. :p There are about three versions in the military, and a couple civilian versions in existance. A reletively new technology (like modern day computers), they are quickly advanced upon when given a new era of peace, when weapons are not the main priority of the government. :p

So, at the moment, I think you and I are about even, but the current Hyperspace/warp is slower between systems than subspace and fold space. Halo's slipstreams are a lot like subspace, but do a lot more damage to the enviroment, while subspace is a gentle opening of sorts. :p Same concept really, but without Slipspace's temporal fluctuations. :p

Sorry guys, I might be leaving this rp. I have been working on my story quite a bit and I think it'd be nice if I actually posted some of it on the hive story board thing. However I did love the rp that I had in here and I hope that this rp lives on. I might just come back one day if I ever figure out whats going on.

Yeah, the Laminari (Silverfeather Caravan) disappeared into their nebulae and then appeared back on I'ron when I was done with my break.

Take a break, it is perfectly alright. :) The good thing about this RP is that you can easily put it down and go on a vacation, then pick it back up again.

var, could you meh explain a bit better how your chozo look? cuz I'm considering instead of creating a new race just making char in existing, tough bird-like doesn't really say that much.

Here is an idea. My Chozo aren't hunched over, and are taller, and more majestic than the WoW model in the picture. In short, they are 6-8 foot tall humanoids, featured by body feathers, and an actual bird head. Their heads depend on their genetics, as the Admiral has the head of hawk, with traces of tropical bird plumage. Their arms are feathered as well, but their hands are much like bird feet, with the talons, and fingers. (standard number being like any normal human hand) Feet are like any normal bird. Very few tropical Chozo are known to exist now, with the birds of prey being the largest percentage of the Chozo populace. It was much like that in their old galaxy as well, but with a larger percentage of tropical birds than now.

Despite being birdlike, they have long lost the ability to fly, and thus do not have wings, and have a much denser bone mass. I am, however, still debating on the tailfeathers aspect. :/

With sharp minds, (bird of prey :D) their race came to excell in weaponry and science, and it was with their predatory nature that they conquered, expanded, dominated. But how hard it was for them to flee, when the time came, from their own empire, to seek refuge in another galaxy. But even here, in their new home, with peaceful intentions, did they begin to grow in numbers, claiming worlds, expanding their empire, dominating those that would appose them. (Kraken excluded :p) Two versions of the Chozo empire exist now, with the fate of one being uncertain. One, a ruthless empire bent on expansion, and from their corruption, dominance in a dead galaxy. The other, Black Sun, rules peacefully, treading carefully across worlds, as to inhabit those capable of sustaining life, and unclaimed by others. But, as peaceful as one may be, and no matter how far you are from your ancient home, there will always be a dark side... of war. >:3
