Synopsis:
The Frost Elves are known for their cold, agile and calm auxiliary troops that were hailed from Erykantle Atoll, their home was once a wintry landscape, but now a spring of null and void thanks to The Great Meltdown. The surviving Frost Elves are emigrated to Elysium, where they cope and commune together against the enemies of Elvenkind. But things have changed when Lady Sonora becomes the new ruler of Elysium, anyone who is not High Elven were displaced and the kingdom is on the brink of authoritarianism. But all hope is not lost however, Frost Elven Ranger Revassa Frostrunner and her companion Alreune Snowflame must escape Elysium to establish a new home to the frozen north, with the help of the hardworking Tuskars and the mighty Magnataurs, they form a new army to fight not only Sonora's forces, but the Undead army that ravages the cold lands...

In this custom campaign, you will play as one of Elysium's cold faction to battle against Lady Sonora's forces, the Undead army led by Sandreyne and the Wolf Horde.

Revassa Frostrunner - Commander of the Icecrown Ranger Corps and daughter of Iyanda Frostrunner.
Alreune Snowflame - Seasoned Frost Archer and companion to Lady Frostrunner.
Lady Sonora - Tyrannical queen of Elysium and leader of House Sonora who commands the High Elven force to track down anyone who are not High Elven.
Haldera Rimesinger - Half-Frost Elf, half-Centaur commander to Kalenia Frostrunner, the grandmother of Revassa Frostrunner.
Lady Sandreyne - Ny'Adrin Dreadlady and commander of the Zagreus Nexus.
Telmoth the Destroyer - Doomlord and Lady Sandreyne's second-in-command.
Candace Icemoon - Exarch and founder of the Icecrown Exarchate.

The intro map is too short to be stand alone and could easily be put into the first chapter. It also doesn't really say anything about anything: doesn't get you into a story, it feels quite random. Terrain leaves to be desired, flat and monotonous...
I think players can do too little, at least in the first chapter. All units are ranged units, so you just need to turn on the auto-cast for Frost Arrow, learn the auras, and keep attacking all enemies. Also, I don't quite understand the story. I suggest not using 'lady xx' multiple times in one sentence; you could give them another title. Also, why does this queen look like a void elf?
 
I've played the campaign on Reforged graphics but when I tried to load up the 3rd mission it gives me this error

It's at the latest version..... Version 2.0.3
This seems to be one of the unresolved bug by Blizzard by the time Reforged came out. Try restarting your PC + campaign and see if the bug didn't occur.

This is part 1, part 2 will be new auxiliary melee units and they are Frost Elves, they wore helmets in battle.

  3. Loading chapter 2 crashed the game. Playing on the latest patch. It worked after restarting the game. Same with chapter 3.
  4. When Revassa talks to the bandits and tuskarr they are not shown.
  5. A guard tower from the freed tuskarr was still shooting my troops.
  6. Pressing ESC starts the ending of the intro cinematic again moving the hero near the main building. I did this after going to the tomb and then the tomb scene continued. Some of my troops remained locked there.
Overall Simple and seems unfinished.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Are you planning on making an altered melee map collection that includes all the races/factions you've made in the past, or perhaps working with the Ultimate Battle developers to add your factions to the project?

Would be super awesome if they were all playable against each other and the vanilla races.

I’ll take that as a yes and still making an upcoming custom campaign, but need to continue all the tests of any missions.
