Thank you for the comment. For the big bug you mentioned i would like to know what exactly.
For example... did the portal not work?
I played the map as a single map many times and not had a bug prevented me from going througt the portal which is the end of the first level. Player data is in the gamecache. Then many times i started the next level map and all worked fine.
The campaign, the combination of the to maps, i just checked it with a cheat-command (forward) ingame and it worked.
To go to the next level by at least see it, one has to free Jaina at first and then use "forward". Of course she will not able to survive the next coz she is still to weak. At least the triggers working by going to next level. I am very surprised about your experience.
- Many ups and downs? Hills and valleys? Matter of taste, more natural. I like it. It is not a serious hindrance for the playing. It's also a funmap, breaking rules. In fact i am bored about the flats in many maps.
- Nice trerrain, awfull pathing.
Maybe that has to go hand in hand in case one like to make a more natural, wilderness. However, i told already in the description:
"(...) player and the AI has no serious problems to move in that landscape". again... matter of taste, i think.
- Gates... They are very helpfull for the deal with the Orcs and can give you adventages, because the Orcs dont open them. The are nessecary to to delay the game in case the player is on the way to lose or things go bad and to maybe turn the wheel. At least I had no alternative idea, which wold be easy to realize, for that concept. The gnolls did not create them, lol, they are ruins of a former settlement or something whatever. Romans,

- Centaures? They are matching to the environment in the east of the map. I am so bold to break the history or rules.
- Story is original, yes. Maybe clunky.. irregular, hard to operate.. yes, dunno, somehow, i hope so, should be. but on te other hand, to be honest, what's wrong or clunky with the story of the first map:
"The first adventure (quest) is to set free Jaina. Then your group has to get the glyph. After that you have to go to the coast to get a boat. With that you must sail to the island. There you have to meet the Ghost. Then he will launch an army to fight the orcs. Depending on the succssess you have to finish the orcs off or not. Then Jaina can travel through the portal to the next adventure which is written in the book 2." It's staight forward imo. Of course i designed the map to make it as much difficult as i could have done it. The second map in contrary could drive you crazy then - that story has enough potential to make three games from it. (It was intentionally.)
- Mechanics - i cant see anything unnecessary and the polishing - i am open for suggestions. Of course, again, matter of taste in many things. Not necessary in the meaning of opposite rather plain and strictly gameplay?... maybe. Acyally the map should lure you to play it long time, trying to give you a feeling of a world.
Hopefully you can follow may ideas. I hope also that we agree to what is a matter of taste, by therefore excluding the serious mistakes.
Please help me by telling me details about the bug you encountered. I am sorry about that bug, too.
