The Hashtable that I heard works oddly (I heard)
And the return bug that still works and can put viruses on your computer?

By can, I mean if someone wants to and does it right.
Remind me of IceFrog's idea, I couldn't read it over the annoyance of the site name.

Viruses don't work through wc3 anymore, and hashtables are fine. So nothing to worry about! Apart from the fact thousands of maps are now bugged...

Someone should clarify how many thousands and send that number to Blizzard. Maybe the monkeys would hit the keyboards faster.

Is Blizzard aware of these problems?

About every forum everywhere about WC3 is bitching about it, including Icefrog.

I'm pretty sure they're aware of it.

I don't see any problem anymore apart from thousands of maps that will be removed. However, that is awesome, since I already fixed my map to work on 1.24. Lol!!! FASCISM!!!

Yes, ok. We get it. No need to keep going on about it. I bet lots of people fixed their maps yesterday, when the patch came out.

If any of you are unable to even open your map to fix the problems, first try reinstalling WC3. If that still doesn't solve the problem, open up your map in an MPQ editor and export your script files. From there you can try to repair them and then import them back into your map with the MPQ editor.

They don't need it for the beta patch anymore, so they temporarily shut it down, until they get it working as normal again.

So once again, Blizzard has failed the updation of its own game, causing many of the users to be pissed, others annoyed.

thats weird. my map used Rising_Dusk's IDDS system which had the return bug. Changed h2i to GetHandleId() and my map works fine. I can compile, test, and host it.
Only error i received from the patch was it couldnt find a file during update. Reinstalling fixed

About TESH not recognising the natives - you can make a kind of makeshift solution by putting NewNatives.j in your <Jass NewGen Pack>/tesh/includes directory. This makes it think all the new natives are just random custom functions that do nothing, but they still compile right, of course, and at least you can see them in the function list.

So its simply using hashtables instead of handles now with the new patch, or is it a little more complicated than that, I just need to know if handles, integers, and reals can still be converted into other warcraft objects (units, items, destructibles, effects, etc).
