Me too. What is so bad on them ? They're well made and they are some models which are omnipotent (Demonhunter, Blademaster, Grom, Keal..etc) for nearly every animation Blizzard made.

I'll post a shot of mine soon (all I have don is the head XD) I just wanna texture the head before showing you guys. :d

because for most people, one side of a face is symmetrical with the other?

I was referring to the actual skull, not the unwrap. The skull there looks as if it has only one eye.

Oh this contest was a really good idea. I like that pumpkin spider monster.

Lol, it has two eyes, but I was thinking of giving him one so in a portrait animation he'd tip his head and it'd roll into the other socket

Requires a custom texture , uses spider anims (and a head made by me) and doesn't resize too well. So I might upload a bigger version too.

Give credits or I'll make your own garden eat you alive.

Hip, hip, hooray for the first submission!

Make the texture a bit darker, so it seems a bit more withered than a fresh pumpkin. Perhaps even make it rotten? That would be cool.

The orange fog makes it look lighter. And I tried making it even darker. It turned out to have big fat black lines on the sides. Besides, this is final... I really can't see what else to add.


Here's a WIP shot I posted a few pages ago that shows how the skin really looks.

I decided to change my idea....I will not be doing the Headless horseman.

Because it would take longer than I anticipated, and I fear the possibility of it bugging like the Elven Knight model.

So I will instead do something like the Angel Of Death...or something like that.

Headless angel of death, perhaps? ^^

Perhaps....but we shall see what abomination I will create....From the depths of the Grave it shall arise to consume the souls of the living....

Well, heres my wip. I decided to make a classic, a man in a burlap mask with an axe. The axe isn't in yet. I'm basing it off the Zombie model, but I'm gonna use animations from other models and probably modify them in notetrack.

I havent done any of the wrapping yet...or the rest of the merging...or the polishing...

But here it is so far..

I plan on turning the raven into a carrion bird.....or should I just delete the bird?

I could have a use for these halloween models

Looks awesome! Do what frost said though.

I like the idea of you using the morph animations to their fullest.
I was thinking bat or something, but carrion bird would work too.

Ok let the human body have Illidan wings and then do the raven with Illidan wings as well. And perhaps a frost wyrm head. That would be So awesome!

Someone has to make a morphing Vampire model, that would win my vote.

Hell, maybe I should do it.. I just don't know if it would be worth it to make a full custom animation set and not win...

Chriz, have you ever considered making a model, dare I say it... without custom animations?

I'm not sure that Illidan wings would work...How would I have them move?...perhaps with the cape bones....I will see about having wings.

But I think I will actually consider making the raven a bat.

Turning the raven into a bat is easy (there are wing bones which are perfect for illidan's wings).
But as you say, animating the wings on the medivh model is harder.

Also, are you going to do a custom texture for the robes (make them darker or something)?

I do plan on using darker textures for the robes...But I think that I would have a better chance of winning if I use ingame textures.

I will post more pics of my model soon...

OH! And take a look at my Red Gargoyle I need feedback on it...its a little ways back into the thread but its easy to find.

You can make them dark through in-game textures. Like the obsidian destroyer texture...?
