gonna try this out now and edit my post afterward. first glance, it looks good. do you have any intention to allow multiple players in one game?
edit:
i got up to naj'entus so far. i'll edit as i go
first thing, i played this in reforged. i am not sure whether this was made in and intended to be played in classic, but i am getting some terrain glitches with the ramps. there was no opening cinematic, i believe there should have been.
after having a total wipe, i lost several heroes and could not not revive them again - the warrior, the combat rogue, and loki the shaman. this may be due to the game having a hard maximum amount of heroes. if you are not able to increase the number of heroes a player can have, perhaps having the player choose which heroes they want at the start would be the best way around this. also increasing the number of players and giving them a set party would fix this.
i would recommend using the button manager program to fix the abilities that are using passive icons that are actually active, and active abilities that are using passive icons
the graveyard room - after wiping so many times, i lost all of my gold and lumber and ended up just using greedisgood to keep playing. i would recommend getting rid of having to pick up gold and lumber entirely if you are going to keep this as a single player or even a multiplayer non-competitive game. i would also recommend creating a dummy worker unit inside the graveyard room that players can click on / press F8 to quickly pan their camera to. i am also not sure why the angels are able to revive heroes but at the added cost of lumber while the altars can revive for just gold.
the heroes - they are all fairly balanced and stand out from one another. my recommendation would be to change their icons to that of their role. it's otherwise a learning curve of figuring out what each one does. this can get hectic in a middle of a fight, especially the first room.
also, i was running into issues where my heroes were not acquiring new targets after killing one. reviewing the editor their acquisition ranges are normal, this is probably something on blizzard's end.
metagross - i am not sure how to unlock him. looking over the editor he is for heroic mode however his hero icon is still visible on the left while playing in normal mode but i am not able to view him. this also takes up a hero slot that could be further limiting the number of heroes i can revive after wiping.
the druid - i would recommend changing his bear form self heal into an ability that does not require you to target him after clicking the ability, for instance using a dummy roar or thunderclap ability. also having to use mana to switch back to his normal form feels bad. i would also recommend having his shapeshifer abilities in a spellbook.
allethya the slayer and other naga siren units - their fire ability hits HARD, like 70% of my entire party's health hard. several heroes would die every fight those units were in.
