OOC: Seriously, where are you guys right now? Lol.

IC: Seeing a small hut, Drakis ran towards it, and clawed the wooden hut so hard, it scraped mainly the whole wall off. The woman inside it tried to scream, but before she could, she was already slaughtered by many slashes of Drakis' claws.

Drakis: This will relieve my bloodlust...For a while...

Drakis began to devour the woman's body and he ran off, still chewing on the body, it left a blood trail.

Bal'Zamon slowly stood up, and slowly approached the mace. He took it carefully , he saw an inscription "Those who dare take His weapon shall be bound to it for all eternity. Bal'Zamon didn't pay attention to that, he just quickly stormed out of the chamber.

OOC: Yay, weekend!

A large cat was laying near the enterance it looked up and a werid grin seemed to come over its face and it spoke. "Who the hell are you."

OOC: three of us online in the same time, at last

IC: Bal'Zamon walked out of the City Keep, a horde of undead was at the gate. He raised the Mallice and said "Pathetic slugs" his voice echoed throughout the city like the roar of a thousand canons "I have His weapon, i control you now, you are my slaves." A few of the undead charged towards him, he just swung the Mallice and they fell to the ground, lifeless."All those who dare oppose me, shall answer to His wrath, he gave u immortality, he can take it away as well" ...

Gath smiled. "He was like that even before he was a cat when he was still my teacher. Now since hes a cat I have to watch over him even with the great powers he has rivaling mine. Hes grown bitter through the years though." "why did you guys come here in the frst place" Gath struggled to sit up the gashes across his chest started to bleed but a swift wave of his hand stopped the bleeding.

OOC:its not lorey anof might fit under like a background story or something

IC:"ok,My mother was 17 at the time it was a while ago when a powerful Warlord ruled the human land of Gwensa he and my mother fell in love the mans name was Zen'Maio it was illigal in the clountry to marry at the age of 17 so they waited til she was 18 her birthday was to be the wedding date. But a day before bandits attacked Zen'Maio went off to battle them. He fought we skill and bravey a very good warrior. He defeated the bandits but was the only one left in the army. He was wounded and left in the battlefield to parish. An army of undead was marching towards Gwensa that day they found him still alive amongst thousands of dead. He was captured and begged for his life and the life of the country and woman he loved. He was granted the wish but Laventris had something else in mind she twisted him intil he began the change into a Forsaken but the change would take time. He returned home and marryed my mother and they had a baby and named it Aranith, me. a few days after my birth they noticed my hand and face was bone that very night Zen'Maio changed completely and in a tramindous blood rage destroyed everything my mother the city the whole nation of Gwansa he took me and trained me to be evil I learned the necromancer ways and grew up to be evil. By the age of 16 I had grown to be a very powerful necromancer, spell weaver, and warrior. We leaved in the forest of the Forest Eves at that time. They found us and in a huge hunt drove us away me and my dad got sperated I wandered the forest for days intil I met Gath Stormer a traveller. He took me in and trained me for 2 years til my 18th birthday when I left. Ive been a wanderer since then made a few friends and made The Circle."

OOC: Why ...I am gaining a deeper insight into the undead mind

IC: Elenai then looked toward a book shelf...And lifted his hand, and watched as a book floated to it...

"Ahhh..yes..here we are...Gwansa...It says here...that it was once a minor kingdom...to the west of Theredor...That would explain the army of the undead...As this was during the time of the 1st Mad-King."

"I am beginning to wonder Aranith...where these Forsaken are coming from...Theredor must hold the secret, fore it was'nt until the Black Tome was found that the undead began to stir...something is amiss and the Tome holds the secret...something is held with in that book...We must get it."

IC: It was like a dagger stabbing into his mind repeadtly, "You failed to uphold what the Hegrothorian people have sworn to uphold, you have dis-obeyed orders, and have let the enemy march upon our gates, even though you did manage to clean up the remains, how do you plea?" The peculiar patterns of the tiles in the courthouse always amused Cornillius for some reason, he raised his head up and scanned the council infront of him, a dozen members all sitting across a large spanning finely polished oak table "Innocent."

He somtimes regrets making that choice, maybe if he had pleaded for mercy... No, what were these pathetic thoughts crossing his mind? Cornillius Genervo, reknown for his families legacy, begging? What has this exile brought him too... Cornillius peered across the vast plains, and turned back to face his forsaken home. Staring for what seemed to be ages, he turned, holding his wound, and continued to stagger away.

OOC: Intro ftw.

OOC: An excellent intro. I shall make some connections ingame.

IC: Elenai floated another book toward his hand...And turning through its pages he found the chapter he was looking for.

"The power of Theredor stretched an incredible legnth...After the nation of Inneria held its crusade, many of the smaller kingdoms were razed in their zealous interpretation...It was one nation called Hegroth, that stood against the tide...Ironic, Inneria's interpretation of Larissa's worship while benevolent at first, grew into a burning hatred for the freer worship held by the other kingdoms...Even the most bright of nations can fall...Hegroth was the death blow for Inneria, and in the wake of Inneria's defeat, much of the human realm was shattered , and splintered...hundreds of small kingdoms were erased, and only a few of the large and powerful ones remained...The human realm never truely recovered, and a power vacuum left much of the realm empty of law, and rule...It was in this environment, that Theredor was able to grow. They brought law, and peace to their kingdom...and their secret guard was held intact.

But the Black Tome like Inneria, brought a bright star into oblivion, and with ease their undead armies were able to quickly conquer the kingdoms, just emerging from the instability left by the crusade. The throne of Malastar once again razed the human realm...and once again Hegroth and other strong nations were all that stood against it..."

OOC: I think I am going to have to make a map to visualize what happened.

IC: It was getting harder for Cornillius to keep his balance, he started to feel light headed. "Why did you avoid the task at hand, you have always been a wise stratigist, why make such a simple and foolish mistake?". Cornillius began to laugh at the memory, but it was painful to laugh, painful to breath. He knelt and coughed, spewing some blood out. "It WAS a wise decision, and it was the 34th Cavarly that had made the mistake, you were driving these men into their deaths." The council went into an uproar, discussions flared up, as one began to whisper to the other, and point at Cornillius like he was some sort of animal. "Order in this council!" The emperors armor gleamed as he stood up. "Are you accusing the entire military council for a mistake, which they all agree upon it was you that made?". Cornillius looked around, as the entire council seemed to lean forward anticipating the answer. "Yes."

"I was not informed of the tactics imployed, dispicable as they are." The emperor rose from his seat once again, placed his hands on the table and leaned forward "Ironic of you to think so, as you are the one who planned it, and planned it well as well". Cornillius was put down, he felt there was nothing to say, how could there be? Were his tactics really that cruel? No, the bloodloss must have been getting to him. It is war, war is cruel. Fire must be fought with fire, therefore cruelty must be fought with cruelty.

He tugged against the enourmous gash on his chest and grunted in pain as he tried to stand up, finnaly managing it.

"You cannot ask me to lead my men to their deaths when a better tactic can be employed, and i held the gate, my tactic was not of fault" The council went into uproar again, and it took the Emporer to once again silence them all. "But at the cost of a few dozen of our cavarly. And the destruction of several homes near the gate front!" His knees felt weak, he had been never been frightened so easily. "Are a dozen of your precious horsemen elites, worth 100 fold that of my men..." Cornillius looked up, although he knew what the answer would be. "Yes, and by far, they are peasants. They're lives are a lesser concern of mine, sacrofices must be made".

Cornillius could feel his knee's shaking, the grass was thinning, he was far from home now, and nearing the short desert that seperates the outside world, from Hegroth.

"Then there is nothing for me left to say."

OOC: Do you still have the map of Darjis? I need it to map out the kingdoms.

IC: "It is unfortunate, that Theredor would fall twice, such is the power of the Black Tome...Malastar unleashed its might upon Hegroth, the first time, their mighty gates with stood the tide, and the undead could not enter...And it was Hegroth who withstood the tide long enough for the Mad-King to be killed, and his army destroyed...But his Grandson Arrillion also assaulted Hegroth, and this time, he had the plague...Hegroth's gates could not hold against their insides...the people began to die, and their bodies began to raise up from their graves...It was during a seige upon one of their gates, that they were able to drive them back...but there was an incident..."

OOC: Does the map of Darjis still exist Gath?

And it is at this point that Seth will fill in some more details that I can "read on".

It was almost too much for him to bear, in an act of thoughtless human impulse, he drew his sword and charged towards the emporer. The guards were quick to re-act. One mighty swing of their halberd and Cornillius flew to the ground, with a huge gash on his chest.
"Cornillius Genervo, you are found guilty of treason, disobeyment of orders, defiling the Hegrotherian Oath and attempting to assualt a council member. Your punishment will be worse than death. Your legacy is forsaken, and your Hegothorian name banished. You, and your children, and your childrens children and so forth are banished from Hegroth. You are exiled."

Cornillius couldnt help but laugh at the thought. "Exile, why dont they just kill me instead..." He looked down on to his wound, and then looked around the wastes of the forest. Cornillius drew his sword, and stared at it as it gleamed in the sun. "Is it worth it..." he thought. It was the most foolish thing Cornillius had ever done. He was contemplating suicide.

OOC:

Its cornillius, and i dont get what you mean.

Edit: OHH you mean the battle that Cornillius won at the cost of his exile. Right. So basicly he won the battle, saved his men, but dis-obeyed orders and due to his dis-obeyment got the kings elite horse riders killed as they attempted an ambush.

If you dont remember what i said in the New ROleplay? forum:

He had to employ another tactic, so he brought his men back towards the gates to fight the enemy at a choke point so that the entire army cannot over run his small one. Their it was where the archers struck down the hordes of the enemy as they tried to get passed the densely crowded gate, they tumbled over each other as they rushed. His tactic was working, as always.... but he knew that there was a consequence for dis-obeying orders...

OOC: Also this happened recently, how did i get written in the book?

OOC: It isnt written in it...I am commenting on the connections..using the book as a guide of the past history (the 1st assault on Hegroth), and commenting with what I have learned (present day).

IC: Elenai continued his train of thought, and deduction.

"The incident...It is well known that Hegroth is a very devout, inventive, and high people..but this can lead to haughty pride...Hegroth is also well known for placing birth rights, legacies, and noble blood above that of the common people...The caste system is very strict, and the gaps are huge...You have Royalty, and nobles..Those with Legacies, The Clergy of Larissa, and the lowly peasantry.

It was during the second assault, in the early years...about ten years ago, when Arrillion assaulted Hegroth, That the Celestial Elves first began to pay attention.

The Celestial Elves were ignoring this war amongst humanity..thinking it didnt effect them, that we were too high above the earth to be effected by the undead, even if our god tells us to destroy the undead...But it was the nearly successful assault on Hegroth, that turned the Silverstar council's gaze towards the surface, and our watch was placed...It was only until recently, that we sensed that this was not just some random undead outcrop, but a wave..And I was sent to find its scource.

It was of course..the Black Tome, and its power that drove Arrillion to assault Hegroth...for what I know not...but it was the controversial tactics of a strategist, that saved Hegroth...By sending the Elite noble knights into battle, he saved hundreds of peasant militia...doomed to die, and his government stripped him of his legacy, and exiled him...The land has forgotten who he was, but the Celestial Elves knew what saved Hegroth, and it was the tactics of this man...though even we do not know his name.

It was his plan, that drove a dozen knights to their noble deaths against a tide of undead...luckily, this was before Arrillion had grown into a more powerful creature...the one I faced and barely survived..Had he been at the level I faced..Hegroth would be lost, and the Human realm destroyed, and the Celestial Elves would have fled from Ashen, fore we use the human nations as a buffer, and to keep us secret...But with the human nations removed, Arrillion would have struck the Elven nations, and they have knowledge of our existence...though limited, and nigh erased...they have it none the less...

We also kept an eye on Hegroth...for being inventive, they may someday in the next hundred or so years create airships, that can reach us...and we were ready to stop them if they should...But they have not yet done so, and their technology has halted its growth, their nation turned inward by caste strife.

They have limited magic...aside from the power of Larissa, but they do have excellent soldiers..."

OOC: The map is?

I also think that with the length of the posts, and the amount of stuff in it, we should seperate the IC from the rest of the stuff...perhaps like I have with color...but I think we need a better way to do so that color..

IC: Cornillius looked around, where was he? Why is he where he was now, roaming the outskirts of Hegroth desert as an exile, searching for a purpose.

More of the flashbacks began to strike. "Do not even give him TIME to bleed, throw him down into the sewers. For his life is not of any concern anymore to me, as long as he does not return here...." Cornillius looked up as the guards dragged him away and stared at the council. "You are foolish, insane and a disgrace to all you claim to stand for." "I will be spitting on your grave, heretic." The king replied. "And i will be spitting on yours..." It took a moment for the emporer to understand the meaning. Was that a death threat?

The intensity of the desert was un-bearable, he couldnt even hold his blade up-right. What was left for him? What was he doing? He loosened his arms, and sheathed his blade back. "I...just..cant.." It felt worse than any before. He was exiled, hopeless, and ironically, for the first time ever in his entire life, the great strategist had no strategy for what he should do next.

The only thing driving him lust....

"our enemy defeated us, once, and now we are to claim that which is rightfully ours.... The world, the pathetic humans that once defeated us, no longer live in harmony, they are withered and torn apart, weak from the conflicts between them, it is now our chance to rid the world of life, and we shall cease that chance, guided by the only true ruler of this world, Laventriss. We march for Hegroth!" and with that he mounted his dark steed and charged towards the mountains, followed by his army...

IC: Looks around desperatly, not used to being alone this far from home without his escort of men. Had he become so dependant on his men?.....

Or was it that his men became so independant on HIM... if so, and if the army returns... Cornillius quickly shook his head driving the thought away from his mind, but again, the people he swore to protect......

They had abandon him, and sent him into exile!

It was like a conflict between his concious. Even if he did want to return, they would not let him. There is no turning back.

"When an exile seeks refuge and redemption...where does he go.."

The question seemed to repeat itsself a thousand times...

OOC:

And I am not sure that there is a desert in Ashen
Its really small, it just seperates the sort of grasslands between the mountains, then there are some forests...

Well lets just say there are... for the sake of the RP

The only problems I see is some lore continuity.

Inneria was a kingdom made by a group of Paladins that moved north of the human realms...thus it wouldnt be in the middle of it.

Theredore was made by another group of Paladins who chased Tanath into the East of a lawless region. And set up a kingdom there...here it shows Theredor replacing minor kingdoms.

And for a lawless region, I would have expected a much more...wide band of it.

Like a band of lawless land seperating the kingdoms..pushing them closer to the coast, and leaving only Hegroth and other stronger nations in the central power position...

I also expected Theredor/Malastar to be...pointier.

Perhaps we could combine the styles and looks of our maps?

ya you can remake them the only problems I had with yours was they needed to be centuralized but do what you wish with them just keep them in the center.
