How many should the limit be?

That's quite a few. Aren't that too many considering they are supposed to be major?

I think you are right but it kinda depends on the length of the RP.We will have to wait and see what the others say.

We will discuss the length of the RP later as well

Considering that it takes months to talk about an RP, 5 years of RP length to make up for it.

In which case having so many events aren't a bad choice. Or maybe that wont be needed to the inactivity, maybe one event is enough.

The first one is the only one I will participate in anyway, I don't see why any of my characters would join in the others.

Don't worry, mine is the "friendliest", since it's already running out of the blue and covertly. I won't say it's major initially, but rather later. Doesn't mean your factions will not take any influence out of them, you all will enjoy it, since it's either deceiving or being deceived (hence called Conspiracy)

I would say proposing in the middle of the story after the current event ends, we have a slight delay so everyone can catch up then continues.
