World Of Darjis Roleplay Part Two!

"Please, stop following me" He yelled at Gath, as he had already scent him

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: Its Brent not Gath

Brent stopped and walked back he summoned his crow with a quiet hum. He whispered something in its ear and it returned high in the clouds.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: sorry, wasn't activly thinking

IC: Kamir walked further, towards the scent.

 

[Teh_Ephy]

"Things have changed again, I'm headed out now."

Selslträ had gotten all the confirmation she needed. As opposed to the murmur that was usually the guardian's voice, it was now loud and clear for anyone who knew to listen. Selsträ reached inside her cloak for her golem heart. She brought it up to her mouth, and whispered into it. Selsträ dropped the orb into the snow, which started to rise up. Instead of taking shape, however, the golem remained a mound of snow... that sped off towards what Selsträ had estimated the location of the artifact, or at least an entrance to the "shining caverns below", carrying Selsträ on it. If she heard the guardian's call so clearly now, so could everything else in the mountain range.

OOC: Selsträ is basically headed in the same direction as Kamir, but is overtaking him. Also, while Selsträ has an idea where the book physically is, she doesn't know her way to or through the caverns.

All this time the others were outside, Vindex who was tired of the manhunt ,has gone to hes chamber that the guards provived him with and went to sleep.

OOC: Yes Vindex is a lazy bum.

 

[Elenai]

IC: Elenai could feel the spirit in the tomb wrestling with his will, the corruptive influcence of it began to become...noticeable.

"Back down into your pages demon...back into your pages...I am not falling this day."

"Hurry Kamir...you must hurry before I fall to the will of the book."

"I could if my wings weren't so badly..." he stopped, he noticed his wings were fully healed, he didn't understand, nor had the time to think about it, he took to the air, then made a dive, and just a meter above the ground, he soared over the landscape, in the direction of the scent, wich now got stronger and stronger, then, the direction of the scent turned, he used great force to turn around, resulting in him crashing into a pile of snow, he stood up again, and flew into the other direction, then he noticed a crack in the ground, he grabbed the tooth he got from the big creature that was slain a couple of weeks ago and used it to make a bigger hole.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

The crow found the cave right before Kamir came plumenting from the sky it began to morph morph into the shape and color of a bat. It then took a persh upside down in the cave.

Kamir noticed it "A spy!" Kamir jumped into the hole face down, chasing the bat at full speed, even though Kamir was way faster than the bat, the cavern wasn't exactly what you would call, easy flyable by big things, Kamir almost slammed into a... crystal? He recocnised it, he landed, touched it, and let aer flow into a small portion of it, the piece broke "Kianor crystals? here?" he said to himself.

OOC: you probly would not notice a bat as a spy

I flew off dropping a common bat dropplingon Kamir (I know its called sometihng else but I don't know it off the top of my head. Kamir realized and felt a little bad about driving a bat from his home or so he thought.

OOC: There you happy evil man you scared the poor creature from its home

OOC: The bat flew down, and had the scent of a bird and of aer.... so he didn't trust it. ^^

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: ok lets continue I wish I was Gath or I would use my cat eye thing to see through the cave walls.

IC: Rin finished with a final stroke from one of his daggers removing what would have been the head of a person from the target. He wiped sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. As he finished he walked outside slowly and looked around. He walked back to his room and walked into a side room and began to warm water for a bath.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

Brent stayed outside his eyes fixed on the cave.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: BTW, never seen a bat in the mountains.

IC: Kamir cought the scent again, and followed it in the opposite direction than the bat went.

IC: Rin dried himself with a towel and put his black t-shirt and black pants on, replacing his black cloak without the fur. He walked into the large main room where a man sat at a desk signing papers. "Rin..." He cleared his throat and continued, "Were not sure you need to be following these people anymore, we have another assignment for you." Rin stood at attention and listened. The man continued saying, "Deliver this paper to the head master." Rin looked confused saying, "Which head master sir?" The man looked at him again saying, "The head master." Rin paled saying, "D-dd Denthur?" The man nodded not looking up from his papers, He threw Rin a scroll of paper. "That is all" he said. Rin saluted in the customary form of grabbing his dagger in his right hand slapping it to his chest. He exited holding the scroll looking puzzled as he did so.

OOC: Allthough Rin is one of the higher Assassins not many get to see Denthur thats why he is so puzzled.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: oh great another mysterious dude with incredible power. Seems really popular nowadays.

 

[Elenai]

IC: Elenai walked through the gaping halls of the Shining Caverns....Deep beneath the mountain roots.

It was here, in this pristine, environment of light and purity...the crystals sang and whispered the echos as his footfall rang through the winding deeps.

But there was evermore, a dark shadow cast by the light of this sanctuary.

And Elenai battled furiously in arugment with the spirit of the Black Tome.

"If you be the prophet of Etheriel, take this book and use its power for his glory."

"I shall not! For it is an abomination of the undead, and written with the blood of demons."

"Is not power relative, if in the hands of those who are good?"

"The morality of power is rooted in the way that power was born!"

"Why then do you seek the dark power of your once-protege' Kamir?"

"Even his darkest power was born from the forces of light! And his time with the sons of Etheriel has sealed light inside him!"

"If you be the prophet of Etheriel! Then use his power to burn the book to ashes!"

"If you be his priest, then take the darkness yourself..YOU COWARD!"

"I am a son of Etheriel, and I will triumph over you Tanath, fallen wizard of the weak wood elves...It is not my place to strike you down in Etheriel's name...It was Etheriel himself who commanded me to summon the dracon here."

"Weak Wood Elf...HAHAHA! You are so blind..you call my old race weak..what of your precious love...the wood elf girl whom you have named Shana? How would she see you now...wandering in the deeps of this forsaken frozen cavern, barely able to hold on to the last vestiges of light within you..HAHAHA! What would your Celestial Lords say to your fling with a lesser elf? HAHAHA!"

"BACK INTO YOUR PRISON TANATH! I SHALL AWAIT THE END! AND ALL THAT COMES WITH IT!"

And with that, the book began to burn Elenai's hands, and the war of wills between Tanath and Elenai proceeded through the day...

And with each argument, Elenai's voice rang out, and the cavern's shook, and his voice echoed as a whispered yell across all the barren wastes above, where hopefully...his friends would be to aid him...should they find the cavern.

But slowly...Elenai's will began to fade...and he began to weaken.

Kamir heard a loud sound, voicelike, it came from all directions, the scent became stronger, he was getting near, the amount of Kianor crystals also began to increase, he looked at them, and then stopped "This can't be!" he said and grabbed a piece of crystal from the ground, he induced it with Aer, it began to glow brightly, he threw it away, and it exploded "These are half refined crystals!" 'Wait, no, I shouldn't be busy with this, no, I need to find this voice' he said, and took off again, flying at decent speed trough the cave, he then came around a cournor and....

OOC: This is the part were I get to you, unleas you don't want it to XD

 

[Elenai]

OOC: Well you have to climb down a massive Kianor entrance and through several tunnels to get to me...which of course, is frought with peril...think "shiny moria"

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Climb? Why climb when I can fly? ^^ and... Don't know what Moria exactly is except some kind of a cave/mine in lotr...

 

[Elenai]

OOC: if you have seen the movies, its like a huge cavern with halls, and narrow stairs falling into abyssal depths

 

[Gath_Stormer]

Brent could not take it he cared not what Kamir said. The power rang out even more powerful it had a evil touch to it. He entered the cave far from sight and scent of Kamir.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Well, how long does it have to take for me to find you elenai? -_-'

 

[Elenai]

meh...as song as it takes you...just make it interesting.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: O great, do I have to get myself hurt again? ^^

IC: "Whoa!!!" Kamir yelled while trying with all his force to not crash into the wall in front of him, he could slow himself down to get only minor injeries to his hands, he then fell down, just braking in order to stand, he looked in front of him and he saw that he now was litterly walking on the half-refined Kianor crystals, he suddenly felt a burst, like a hard wind suddenly hitting him, but this time it blew against his bones instead of his skin, and after that burst, he got pulled up, to the roof, then he fell down again "What the hell is this place!?" Kamir thought and continued his flight again

OOC: I would like to let Kamir finally meet Elenai again after a couple of posts...

Brent solified the air beneath him as he had done before and began to follow Kamir still out of his ranges.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: How can you follow me when all my sences can't spot you (and believe me, he has good sences) there are many MANY hallways there.

 

[Elenai]

OOC: it is indeed a labyrinth...and infact...it was only by sheer accident (divine fate) that I came here even with my advanced magic.

IC: Elenai continued his argument with the demon in the book...as he walked now amongst the winding caverns...the argument at now gone to the mind, and the mind vs. the mind.

The spirit of Tanath would mock Etheriel, mis-quote scriptures, conjure visions of fallen realms of light, and Elenai would retort with tales of rebirth, and the silent watchfulness of Etheriel's ways.

Elenai began to mutter to himself, for his mental defenses began to fail...this prophet of dark powers began to batter down the walls of light Elenai had spun about him.

"power grows, in this darkness, surrouned by light..."

It was until he came to a great hall, a huge monolithic cavern filled with unstable crystals....and his senses gave way to his madness, and he let loose a wretched yell that split crystals around him into shattered remnants of glass, the shriek of his falling state was deafening and cold as ice.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

The first wall had fallen...

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC:He can sinse the incredible power ripplling out of the cave he follows those.

IC: Brent stopped for a second the light weakened a bit and the darkness grew stronger. After a while a wall of crystal was in front of him he had taken a wrong turn the magic of the cavern was weakening his senses he doubled back and went another way.

OOC: and to answer Kamir sense problem its in my text

Kamir could scent that his target was just around the cornour, he put his ears wide open in order to find any hint of a person or anything that could physically talk, when he suddenly heard a crash of glass-like stuff, it echoed trought flesh and bone, and was so load, that he was nearly deaf, he then heard a very dull yell, he leaned against a wall, then a very high pitch in his ears and his hearing came back, he ran around the cournor, where he saw a room littered with shattered crystals and a person with a book, Kamir walked towards the person, not recocnising him at first, but when he saw the person's face "Wait... this can't be, Elenai?"

OOC: I hope I didn't go too fast? ^^

 

[Elenai]

OOC: Perfect timing.

Waves of energy rippled outward from Elenai's kneeling body...the fall of the first wall had left Elenai weakened, and it was as if he was bleeding waves of light in ripples of a misty fog...

Electric currents ran over his body, and the book burned with a red glow in his hands...

Tanath's cruel laugh could be heard echoing like a whisper in the shattered cavern.

Elenai looked up...his face contorted with pain.

"You have come Kamir...finally...."

"TAKE THE BOOK! YOU MUST TAKE IT! AND SEAL IT!"

"My light cannot hold it...And Etheriel has not deemed it my purpose to contain its evil."

"You must seal it, until we can banish the spirit."

 

[DarkKnight]

Kamir looked at the book, ran towards it, and grabbed it, he could feel the immense dark energy, but it was different from what he was used to, however, it's been 8 years since he last realy used dark magic, so what did he know? Kamir himself was about to lose to the book, however, he then suddenly, felt something burst inside of him, and his skin color changed in a wave to pitch black, however, this time his eyes were open, they were fully white, without a glow or anything, not even the faintest clue that there ever had been a pupil or iris, the book suddenly had a heavy seal on it, and, for the moment, nothing could go in or out of it, the book was now covered by a hard boxlike black, after that, Kamir's skin returned to normal, as did his eyes, and he fell down on the ground unconcious.

 

[Elenai]

IC: And with the seal in place, the grip Tanath had on Elenai's mind was broken, and Elenai sprawled out and fell on the ground with a great gasp of breath as if he had been choked to death in an icy grip.

"GAAAAGH!"

And he collapsed...his purpose done...the seal inplace before he could fall to ruin, and his power be used for the destruction of Darjis's realms.

OOC: Shall we stay unconcious long enough for Brent to find us?

 

[Elenai]

OOC: I donno...too sleepy and unconscious to think about it.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Good one ^^ I'll just take that for a Yes.

OOC:Or can i somehow get into this because my guy is sleeping like a lazy bum that he is?

Brent rounded the corner the tramendious dark power had vanished completely. He rounded another corner the cave was lit up from all the shining crystals on the ground lay two unconsious figures one an elf the other Kamir. He rushed into action feeling their pulses they were faint. The air solified around them he could barly stand the stran of managing three at the same time. The laybrinth was easy this time and he made it out quickly. He rushed past where the orc was lazily sleeping and into the Rift Mage's Domain.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: He wasn't dieing or something, he was just a bit exhousted becouse of the sudden release of dark energy.

IC: Kamir woke up, everything was still a bit hazy, then he widely opened his eyes "Where's Elenai? Where's the book!?"

 

[Elenai]

IC: Elenai was still unconscious...gripping the air, as if he were still holding an invisible object he did not want to let go.

 

[DarkKnight]

"Oh, there he is, wait, but where is the book!?" he asked (yelled/said whatever)

 

[Elenai]

OOC: Check under you

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Under me? ^^, Well, hard to feel the difference between a book and pressurized air in my opinion...

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: You not under the solid air anymore you laying in the snow while I get help.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Ah, same case, ^^, well, nevermind.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: was waiting for zan but

IC: Four Rift Mages came over and picked the two up transporting them to the hospital room.

Kamir thought quickly, hiding the book he just noticed away, in one of his wings, and folding the other wing too to make it less suspicious, becouse there was a reason why Elenai wanted Kamir and Kamir alone to come.

 

[Elenai]

IC: Elenai began to mutter in his sleep...speaking in the Celestial Elven tongue that had not graced surface dwelling ears in an age, a dialect of elven long ago severed from that of other elves...
