IC: Rin pointed to a row of buildings to his left saying, "Beyond those buildings is a large gate that we will exit from, if you wish to go now you may."

"Well, I wasn't realy planning on going yet, just wanted to go outside for a while, I wanted to smell the mountain air again, has been a couple of months, maybe it'll get away this bit of homesickness I have, thank you" he said and walked towards the gate.

IC: And so from the depths of the rift of which surrounded him Elenai pressed outward, his crystal shield shattered in the spread of the rift...

He came foreward, grasping in his pale cold hands...The Black Tome...

"I must find saftey...The black tome is spreading its vile wickedness, and calling disaster to it, and calling all manner of evil to this place.

OOC: A quick intro to my return, even if I do not know the whole story from the time I left.

OOC: Well, Kamir had to travel north to the mountains right? It seems he is there now by means of rifts, I think he won't be spotted by you when inside the monastary, but once he gets out of it, you should easily find him.

Kamir exited trough the gate, he noticed behind it, there was another one, he closed the gate he came trough and opened the other one, a very cold breese came from the outside, but he was used to it even though he just came from a desert not even a day ago, he walked outside, closed the gate, and took a good long breath with his nose. "Ah, smells like home, feels like home... yet it's so far away..." Kamir walked a bit further away from the gate, even after he walked only a couple of meters, he noticed he could only see the gate of the monastary, (OOC: If this is all right with you Zan) IC: He walked to a bit of a higher point, from there, he saw a stunning view, even though he was surrounded by mountains, this was nothing like OOC:<enter previous continent here> IC: "Damn, I should rest a bit for my wings to heal" he said, but sat down to apreciate the view just a bit longer.

IC: "Well for the map you will have to follow me this way." He got up and started walking, as they walked he talked about how they hid saying, "As far as the sun elfs are concerned we are just another of their citadels right here. We use all the same magic to contain the forcefeild just amplified somewhat. Some years back we sent one of our better Assassins to their headquarters here, he infiltrated and put us down on their check list so that they officially believe that we are sun elf. When ever they come here we just have our very very few sun elf members greet them." They came to a door in which Rin laid his hand on the a circular lock and a different kind of Aer flowed out of him than his normal rift magic. You could hear a slight click then Rin slid the door to the side and stepped in. Within the room were many maps of Darjis on the walls but Rin walked right to the middle of the room where the large table showed a map of the northern mountains. He ran his hand over it a few times then stopped at a north western point on the mountain range saying, "This the mountain black strike, named after one of the famouse battles of the dark elf wars, it is also one of the highest here which makes it difficult for assault... and checkups. Thats where we currently are."

Brent looked at the map scanning the different symbols he began to imprint it in his memory. "Well I guess I better get going" "are you comeing?" Brent walked outside the room and out of the dome through the two gates. The cold weather greeted him and he began to fight through the air to get to Kamir. "So do you have any idea where north you were supose to be."

OOC: btw no dark elf wars battles was fought on Dargo since sun elves have nothing wrong with dark elves
and Kamir the previous countiant was Ashan

"I think it should be around here" Kamir said "I came outside to find out, but... I can't receive further... guidence, I think I need some more time, do you know anything that could help?"

"by guidence do you mean the ripple of energy that always catches your attention?"

IC: Rin disappeared for a few moments then followed with an exact replica of his cloak but lined with fur. When he moved closer to the others he seemed to drift through the deep snow and rough weather with ease, beginning to get within earshot he shouted, "I felt a Rift explode not to long ago... if that helps."

OOC: w/e then just every thing sept the war part is true.

Selsträ's mind was lingering on her discussion with three of Stanth's elders last night... the discussion on what to do about the artifact. Selsträ hadn't purged herself of its influence when the rift opened on her, which ended up being rather fortunate; the librarians and elders could see exactly what kind of influence the artifact exerted. They had reached the conclusion that Selsträ was working towards herself.

The artifact was calling strong creatures to itself. The monsters that Selsträ had encountered were strong enough to hear and understand the artifact's faint call, but willing to risk corruption for power. In the end, it was fairly obvious that the artifact was probably malicious, or tended to attract malicious creatures. The artifact needed to be dealt with, sealed at the least. However, Stanth had no powerful sealing spells; everything that was deemed too dangerous was kept in the library, behind the fortress's ancient seals. Not one of the elders wanted something so powerful and corrupting in the fortress. The obvious solution was to destroy it. There could be problems as to how to destroy it, but without a doubt it could be destroyed. All books can be burned, all gems can be shattered, all things broken.

Selsträ had received two greater golem hearts, for a total of three with her personalized one. Even without the hearts, Selsträ was well-prepared, and had a number of powerful spell cores; most importantly, several purges so Selsträ could keep herself free of the artifact's influence, and a target stone in case she needed reinforcements. The guards at the gate had been informed of Selsträ's departure. Selsträ paused a moment, and put on her new mask. A mask that had laboured to keep the world together almost as long as it had been worth keeping. A mask that would keep on doing that as long as the world was worth keeping.

OOC: I'm having trouble following you guys. Are you inside the monastery or out? Btw, Selsträ hasn't left yet, but she's just at the gate.
Elenai, nothing much happened at all. I got accidentally rifted to Zan105 knows where (literally) and am back in the mountain range, everyone else is also in the mountain range.

OOC: Well, Me and Gath are both outside of the monastary in the snow.

IC: "No no, it's not like a riple or a flow, it's... a well uuhm... voice, a somewhat familiar voice at that, but I can't realy tell who's voice it is." Kamir said, he closed his eyes and let himself fall in the snow behind him

OOC: Elenai... Actualy I'm waiting for you to send another mental message... as I am now in the mountains northwards of the place I first was...

"do you have any idea who it might be" Brent lay down beside him dropping his staff into the snow it melted a spot around it and began to warm there bodies.

"No, but it was someone who I knew before I went into the mountains." Kamir said.

 

[Zan105]

IC: "Well I'm going to go fetch our final member..." Rin walked off back toward the monastery stopping by (Teh_Ephy you never told me your chars name i don't think at least?) "Ready to go?"

 

[Teh_Ephy]

"Hm... I have specific business southeast of hear. There's been a rather large change in circumstances, though, and it would probably not end well if I hurried before I knew how it had changed. I suppose that yes, I am ready to go."

 

[Zan105]

IC: "Allright." Rin looked her over noticing the quick healing. "This way" he walked into the deep snow and blizzard winds.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

"There is a sun elf citidel down the mountain a bit we can take refudge there intil Kamir knows where we are going"

OOC:meaning Elenai needs tosend another message

 

[Teh_Ephy]

OOC: Yeah, and I need to notice and decide if Kamir looks competent enough, as well as lots of other things.

OOC: Competend? Hmm, sounds interresting XD

IC:"I'll stay here, it reminds me of home, I've already spotted a nice cave" Kamir said.

"Well, maby it's becouse I have been sleeping in a cave for about 7 years already" Kamir said and smiled

OOC: Kamir spend the largest part of the 8 year time skip in the mountains.

"well now is a time for me to train I never had snow to practice with in my old home" He walked off down the moutain a little and began to focus his mind.

"Bleh!I hate snow and cold..."

IC: Rin shrugged figuring he could hone his own skills, he looked to the member of Stanth saying, "So you never told me your name and what are you planning on doing?"

"Ok, good luck, I'm going to take some rest, maby then I'll get something... and at the same time I can let my wings rest, as they don't work yet..." Kamir said.

 

[Teh_Ephy]

"My name is Selsträ, and what I'm doing is the usual artifact hunting that goes on when we aren't putting the undead back down. I was interrupted, but was able to confirm an artifact. I took the opportunity in the monastery to confirm what to do about that artifact. Mm... all the other details are complicated and superfluous."

Brent studied the snow around him seeing into the individual crystals. Weaving his Aer into and through them. He began to practice doing simple things such as changing there flow or clumping them together. Finally he drew his Aer together and consentrated on the snow. Issuing the command "let loose wintery fury let the earth fill your frosty presence" The simple snow fall turned into a blizzard and pelted everything around it. Realizing h let to much Aer loose he sucked the Aer back in and the simple snow continued. He got up walking to Kamir.

Kamir, who was blown over by the unexpected blizzard and his wings, got up and said "What was that good for?"

 

[Zan105]

IC: Rin raised an eyebrow and her words saying, "Hmm sounds fun..." He looked around then walked back toward the monastery shouting back, "Come get me when Kamir gets his message." When he entered he removed his cloak and put on his black training uniform. He walked to the blades room taking his two blades in his hands holding his left handed blade facing left and his right handed blade right he quickly threw his right hand blade in the air and loosed a throwing dagger, the dagger swiftly landed in a target it the shape of a person, he grabbed his blade deftly and ran forward completing a couple of complicated moved finishing it off quickly chanting a few words and releasing a blast of Dark Energy.

OOC: I said dark energy as my 2nd skill for those of you who might appose it XD and if i said dark or shadow i meant that srry.

OOC: Hey! I've been gone once again. Traveling and soccer has kept me busy, not to mention a forum I've been dedicated to before I got on this one. I want to join in again, but I really don't get how I "disappeared" and at the moment I don't want to try and think of a reason, and how I get back in. I'm going to soccer tournaments in another province, then going to a camp. So I'll be gone for two and a half weeks starting this Sunday... Yes, I'm a busy person.

OOC: Sorry guys, I had a virus problem that took a bit of battling to get rid of...careful battling...the kind that takes forever.

IC: Elenai stood there in the deep caverns under the snow tipped peaks, the ice shrouded crystals about him shattered in the convulsions of the rift....He looked back at his crystal tomb, and looked about him...

"This is not safe"

"Kamir..hear my words, and heed them well...Look for my scent, and make sure you are not followed. You will find me in the shining caverns below, use your knowledge gained from the Kianor...You MUST HURRY!"

Kamir sat up, he heard the voice again.. 'the scent.. whose scent?' he thought, he sniffed once, he then noticed a familiar scent, from a far past, he couldn't remember who's, but he did know he recocnised it, he got out of his small cave, and began walking into the direction of the scent.

Brent felt a strong ripple of energy much like the ones farther south but much stronger. He saw Kamir start walking. He followed at a distance.
