World Of Darjis Roleplay Part Two!

Brent smiled and began to walk off due north.

 

[DarkKnight]

Kamir followed and thought "I presume that's a yes".

 

[Gath_Stormer]

after awhile Brent stopped "so does anyone have a clue where the rift is?"

 

[DarkKnight]

"Huh? What rift?" Kamir looked confused "I thought we were heading north... I am atleast..."

 

[Emilia]

"Rift...?" She scratched the back of her head.

 

[DarkKnight]

"I thought those... rifts... only stayed for a couple of seconds... I'm not sure what you mean" Kamir continued.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

OOC: The quick portal you know rin pulls out map shows purple dot its a portal he said the rift mages have stuff like those to help the mages get around because its hard to make a rift. The thing we are going to all this time to bring us north.

 

[Emilia]

OOC: I will be gone camping starting tomorrow afternoon sometime... I'd like to get out of this desert before that. Then I can "disappear" for just a week or so. I'll be back, though. So don't worry.

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC:Those quick portals, they are just points were it's easier to make a portal, there is not permanent rift there, it has no use withought Rin, and we have no idea how those rifts work, so you should be or very good believing, or good knowing or just strange in order to know he went to there, in other words, my character is just heading north XD

And, Dunno if we'll leave the desert soon, don't know how large it is... gath?

OOC:Its pretty large but we can skip it normally on foot it would take about 3 weeks because of the brutal weather

OOC: *Skip 2 weeks and 6 days XD*

OOC: Well, I have to go now... goodbye. Great ending for me, too... Just say I left for some time or something... but I'll come back into the RP in a week or so.

2 weeks 8 days

IC: Brent woke up it was there last night on the desert the green grasslands were in site to the north. He lookefd around "Hmm It seems our newest friend ran off" "Oh well we must keep moving soon we will be in lands with constant war between the orcs and elves. I bet we will run into some orcs."

 

[DarkKnight]

"elves won't be the problem... right?" Kamir said looking at brent "However... we do have a orc with us..."

 

[Zan105]

OOC: I'm back for two or three days then gone for four ish... so il get us to the quick portal and then make my character get preoccupied...

IC: "So do you know anything about rifts?" He said as he began drawing small lines in the ground in the shape of runes. The symbol consisted of two circles adjacent to each other with lines going straight out form each then continuing to make a larger oval. He pulled out a small pouch and spread out red dust in the small trenches in which he had scratched, he finished pouring the bag out and then took a seat in one of the two circles.

OOC: Oh shizzits, I gotta rp.

IC: Gorowrath after many months, forged Cataclysm and Umbra into 2 different claws. He knew this part would be the worst, He got a leather strap, tied Umbra to his left hand, and got an iron nail and a hammer, and struck it into the leather strap, also piercing his skin, he yelled in pain, but knew that if he ever transforms again, he needed weapons that he wouldnt lose. He tied up the bleeding wound with cloth where it very quickly turned red with blood. He then got another leather strap and tied Cataclysm to his right arm, then he struck another nail into the strap, and skin, another yell cried out from him. He stared at both arms, and knew now he had formidable weapons.

 

[Teh_Ephy]

IC: "Well... I know that rifts get you from one point to another in a much less noticeable and mana-intensive way than most teleportation spells, and they have much worse repercussions for failure. It takes more training and concentration to use rifts than teleportation spells, I understand. I also know that if you know about rifts, you're probably a Twilight Assassin, because I've never seen you around the fortress. Does that help at all?"

OOC: For those who neither know nor remember, the Twilight Assassins have their main headquarters on the same island as Stanth, and both organisations share information because of how dissimilar their general occupations are. Also, Selsträ has basically just told Rin that she is a member of Stanth.

P.S: Emilia, it's very possible that you won't be missing much.

IC: "Its not that simple because we have an orc the elves arn't going to be to friendly with us and welll the blood orcs arn't that fond of shadow orcs."

 

[Zan105]

IC: "Hmm your from Stanth then... Well step into the other circle and lets see if can get us anywhere near my party... From there il take you to one of the many Assassin bases with a Stanth embassy and let you heal..."

OOC: He has a photographic memory that's the only reason he can get the quick portal you guys are going toward...

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: why not send her directly? and I already said we had an orc with us XD

IC: "Well, maby we could get passed the orcs by just sneaking, and past the elves by, or explaining, or pretent Vindex is our prisoner." Kamir said

 

[Gath_Stormer]

"Yet again not that simple If we are going north into sun elf lands we are going to meet sun elves eventually and the elves If I remember correctly issued a no prisoner law. Vindex would be exicuted on the spot. But we could sneak past the orcs. Anyway let us worry about it in our travels we are going to cover more ground today arn't we?"

 

[DarkKnight]

Kamir looked at vindex "Maby it's safer to part" he said

 

[Gath_Stormer]

"We would have a better chance if we stay together a lone orc would be killed by both orcs and elves and if we are caught alone with orcs we are dead"

 

[DarkKnight]

"Yes, but if we take a orc with us, we could on the first hand be seen as dinner, and on the second hand, be seen as trators, and so ALL die" Kamir said "by the way, sorry for saying all of this Vindex, I like your presence, it's not like I dislike you."

 

[Gath_Stormer]

"If only Rin was here we could forget all thsi and just rift there"

OOC: Zan105 is gone for fourish days.

OOC: I leave tomorrow at 11:00 ish but il check before i leave if i can remember.

IC: "Allright if you don't want to move into the circle..." He moved some of the red dust into a new trench surrounding her then sat in his own. "Lets see if i can do this." He closed his eyes and white light swirled around him and the member of Stanth.

Meanwhile... Near Brent a white shimmer began to appear in the air and within a few secconds Rin appeared sitting in a small circle in the sand. Another person was next to him sitting on a bed of moss that happen to teloport with them when they came. Rin's face was pure red and he lay backward in the sand for a few moments then sat up saying, "Damn why did i have to draw that third circle around you..." Within a few moments a third circle appeared and within it there was a large area of grass sticking out of the sand.

OOC: Sorry, I didn't catch the part about stepping into the circle. I would have if I did.

Kamir looked a bit dull at the strange shimmer, thinking it was just something of a desert illusion or something, he suddenly got startled when suddenly Rin was there, together with a other human or elflike creature "Are you allright?" he asked Rin "And who's this?"

 

[Andreja]

"If i were to go,Kamir, you would all die from hunger in the desert.You need someone who knows this place and YOU don't."

OOC:Im in Turkey so don't talk to mz char.

 

[Zan105]

IC: "Ugh..." He looked around and reached into his bag and pulled out a small potion... He drank it quickly and the red color faded from his face as he turned more to normal. "I hope your all ready... This will fade very quickly..." Rin closed his eyes again and the same white light swirled around them.

In the north in a large Monastery looking building (where i started) a shimmer appeared in a large area with the same red dust spread in multiple circles. The same familiar shimmer appeared and soon Rin took shape laying on the ground unconscious. The rest appeared in other circles around him within seconds. There were two men in black cloaks much like Rin's own standing at the entrance to the room where they appeared and they stepped forward and picked Rin up and walked over to a single room where they lay him. They returned and looked at the group eying them up. "Welcome to Garn... This is a northern training area... located in one of the highest mountains in the north, the warm weather inside is sustained by a magic forcefeild which is renewed every month." They motioned to several doors on a wall adjacent to them, "These are your sleeping quarters... You will not be allowed to leave until Rin regains conciseness and is questioned..." One of them nodded to the member of Stanth saying, "Your embassy is on the southern most area of the base next to the great hall..." With that they retook their guard positions.

OOC: Sorry to move it so fast but i wanted to give you guys something to do while i was gone.
PS. The buildings within the Monastery look Chinese cultured. So like sliding Chinese doors etc... When you walk around there are various training exercises going on involving assassination combat rifting and other magics... Herbs poisons etc... So i'm sure you can find something to do for four days XD.

"Brent looked around agusting to the new light it was almost artifical. Well no since in wasting this place anyone care to train."

Kamir looked around confused for a while "Wait... did we just go by such a rift? it felt odd.. Like, for a moment I wasn't meant to exist..." he said "Oh, sorry, how rude of me, my name is Kamir, may I know your names?"

OOC: The 'I wasn't meant to exist' part was the period of time that Kamir was in the other dimension (as rifts use more dimensions... right?)

OOC:yes and its useless to ask the dudes name for Zan won't be back. Intill like 4 days

OOC: Hmm.. true.. never mind that, I guess they are gone then already XD

IC: Kamir didn't feel like sleeping, resting or anything he could do in his room, so he said goodbye to the rest and went on exploring, he came past many rooms, wich had just as many sounds behind them, one there was the sound of sword clashing, others of people talking, yet others nearly nothing except papers being turned, he then noticed a room where the slide door was just a little bit open, and he noticed a flash out of it, out of curiosity he looked trough the opening, and saw people who seemed to be attending some sort of a class, they were definetly younger than Rin, and Kamir could now see what they were training, they were learning to use rifts, Kamir sat down near the opening, and kept looking in, and following the classes, as he was rather interrested in this 'rift' magic.

Brent sat on his bed looking around "hmm wow this place is really boring" He got up and began to explore. Walking around he saw Kamir staring inside some room. He decided to look in the room to see what had caught his intrest it caught his also. It seemed to be some classroom and the people inside were practicing simple rifts. Like transporting objects from one side of the room to the others. Some seemed quite weakened by it some seemed fine. He kept looking.

Kamir whispered "It seems they use rifts with some kind of circles, I have already memorized the circles, but they use some special sand, or dust for it" then, the person who seemed to be the teacher said that the lessons were over, Kamir stood up and walked to the other side of the hallway, looking at the door "I've got to say, they do have a nice interior here" Kamir said as the door opened and the people came walking out, many looking at Brent and Kamir.

 

[Gath_Stormer]

"hmm well I guess its over" Brent began to walk away.

 

[DarkKnight]

Kamir stayed a while, after everybody was gone, he looked around if there still were people around, he then walked into the room, looked around, walked around, and studied the room.

When he got to his bed he decided to do something that his master always did in his spare time meditate.

 

[Zan105]

OOC: Zan105 is back in da house for a good period of time now!

IC: Rin rubbed his face as he sat up, Almost immediately he was grabbed and dragged off, he blinked a few times remembering memories of childhood much like what he was no experiencing but more violent. He was dropped in a dark room, standing up and seeing a man writing on a desk. The man looked up saying, "Who are these people..." Rin looked confused and shrugged once. "The people you brought through the rift... Which by the way was very foolish you could have killed yourself..." A look of remembrance spread across Rin's face. Rin stood onto his feet and assumed a position of attention saying, "These are travelers i'm with, they are trustworthy and i will stay with them after they leave in case they tend to betray us..." The man smiled and motioned with his hand. Rin walked out of the room into the light of the artificial heat. He let out a deep sigh and walked toward middle of the monastery. He took a small path leading off the side to a small waterfall. He sat on the rock ledge around the stream and examined the water, running his hand through it a few times. As he stood there his mind wandered to the days of his training when he was at the age of 10. His master had taken him to this place and had told him that the water here was the only thing inside that wasn't artificial. The stream was fed from a spring outside of the barrier that kept the warmth in. He sat there for a long while running his hands through the water.

OOC: WOOOT I'M BACK...

Kamir had gotten outside, or atleast... outside of the building he was in, he walked around, he couldn't believe he was actualy in a mountain top, he always associated mountain tops with cold, white and cloadless, he saw a waterfall, the first one he had seen in this place, and saw someone sitting next to it, he walked to it, and saw that it was Rin "Hey, Rin, can you tell me what this place actualy is?"

Brent finally left his room and begin to travel around advetually he spotted Kamir and Rin again by a stream. He walked to them. "What now arn't we going to go north?"

 

[DarkKnight]

Kamir heard a human like voice, sniffed, and smelled brent's scent, he looked around and said "Hard to do inside this thing, don't you think?"

 

[Zan105]

IC:Rin watched them both approach and removed his hand from the water wiping it on an identical black cloak to the guards. He raised an eyebrow at Kamir's question saying, "Didn't you listen to the guards at all..." He frowned then continued, "Well this is on top of a large mountain In The North... (Emphasized) But we knew we couldn't train properly in cold climates so we sent some of our more skilled magic users here and had them put up a forcefeild around the training area" He pointed to a crystal located on the top most part of the waterfall saying, "They put Aer into these crystals, sustaining the forcefeild and the warm climate." He smiled to himself about the exclamation. "And i got us all cleared to move on with our journey when ever you are ready." He put his hand back in the water, feeling the icy chill from outside

 

[Andreja]

Vindex , who has been tagging along these past few hours with Kamir and Brent, waited for them to move a bit further.After they've came out of hearing distance , he whispered to Rin:"I know who you people are.You are the rift assassin's or however you're called."

 

[DarkKnight]

OOC: Uuhm... do you know that we are in some kind of monastary thingy something high into the mountains? BTW, it's easy to see they are rift assassin's if you just look at their lessons (they learn how to rift, and how to assassinate XD)

IC: "Erm well.. I was too confused to listen to the guards" Kamir said "Wait a sec... you said mountains in the north of the place we were before? Hmm.. is there a way outside of this place?"

OOC:No, i mean he knows about theyre organisation.I called them rift assassins cuz i forgot the name....

OOC: Erm... we are near Rin, both are, so we are within hearing distance...

OOC:Umm you moved or something...
