I can't join, that's why I uploaded it here and wish you can enjoy it with friends, but seems like some people are just disagree with that.. so I delete my hardwork (it was a hardwork to upload it with my sucks connection) :'(

Indeed misc is what does not suffice the other genres. What I wanted to avoid however were non-playable maps like Cinematics and Melees/Altered Melees. If you take a look at the Hive's maps' categorization, you can see some things the misc term here currently contains: Defense (except TD), Life of a Peasant, Mini-Game, Offense, Shooting/FPS, Strategy/Risk. Then again Hive has a Miscellanous/Other category as well. I may extract from misc in the future.

Further suggestions for misc would be missile maps, sports, card games as you said, in general alternative gameplay concepts.

It was recently updated to the 2013 engine and several balance changes and stuff were added. And Scouts and Engineers have shotguns!

The biggest point is still: People are still playing, so just download and join.

Here's my map, it is a Misc OR Capture the Flag game.

You play by bouncing a certain thing around and you have to land it into the pool in order to win, you can play just by bouncing it around though as well.

From the traditional order it should be the 20th and 21st of June. Coincidentally the 20th is the same day the other contest ends.
It wouldn't be that wrong to start the next round still in June, but maybe it would be too early in case of some potential contestants may be too exhausted from the previous contest.

There is no enrolment in this contest. You either make it or not. By the way there is no active competition yet
