I think I've seen this a lot of times especially in the request and project recruitment forums (I think there was even a mod who did this). Is this really not allowed?

Subliminal asking for reputation (ex: "Remember to rep people if they helped you/you found their post helpful!")

This too. I've seen some in some user's signature.

I won't mention names publicly though. I haven't reported them since I wasn't sure if it was completely wrong.

Yes, that's double posting and yes, I'm breaking the rules though just did this to remind Ralle of the BB Code errors in the first post. I do agree also that some of the rules in Reputation are not being followed or even some mods are not even taking action (as far as I know) such as those event you mentioned.

In my opinion offering rep for legit requests isn't a problem, although continually repping someone for the same request imo shouldn't be allowed.

Maybe you've seen something I haven't seen but the only signatures I've seen that mentions giving rep is remember to give rep to people who help you and that's not a request as much as a tip since it actually reqieres you to help people to get rep which is how it should be.

So basiclly even mentioning rep is against the hive rules since all of it can techniclly subliminally lead someone to think about giving rep which could mean the person who mentioned rep. Meaning that anyone who have ever mentioned rep should recieve a warning.

I recently made a smaller set for these Reputation Gems instead of gems, I prefer blocks instead.. Like Poké-blocks!. the blocks size are exactly 11x11 Pixels, Anyway, Here you go. I made this to prevent the gem/balls being cramped on the user area..
