[HD/Modeling] Reforging Lord of the Clans

Dear all,

the time has come to turn old classics into modern reforgings! My custom campaign Lord of the Clans
has been improved continuously since its first release in 2006. The time has finally come to turn it into an an HD campaign, filled with many custom models/skins & icons, improved terrain & cinematics, and possibly even voice acting.


This is a call to all interested people to help create HD assets.


To better coordinate this endeavour I would ask interested people to join my Discord Server Join the Lore & Legends Discord Server! so we can better coordinate and share feedback.
Here is a list for all necessary models/skins and icons. In the following are just example screenshots. Feel free to use other material for inspiration. There will be a separate thread other projects.


Aside from the assets featured in this list, you are free to create anything you deem useful, especially more types of decoration for interior or exterior. i.e. Frostwolf flag. Please refrain from creating faction-based units or entire races; This is not a WC2 remake. The scale of this project was always intended to be small. If you are unsure, contact me via Discord or Hiveworkshop PM.


I know some assets already exist. I will update the list soon. Feel free to point me to any other existing assets.

Yeah, I noticed the wolf was pretty dark too when taking off the armor, but it's actually a pretty nice looking blueish hue when looking at it closer.

The Female grunt is not really a good representation of an assassin, maybe use one of these models:

On that note, you can use the female grunt as a background uncontrollable unit among the warsong and later frostwolfs orcs. It would really help the overall felling of a cohesive clan with orc males, orc females and orc children.

• 5/8 maps are done done.
• Most of the required models have been implemented.
• I have updated the icon list and I have hired a dedicated icon artist to remake the remaining icons.
