Yeah it's old, so what you want to fight about it? It still looks exactly the same.

Here is a screenshot of my current desktop:

Yeah my resolution is 1900x1200 so it might take long to load this pic.

Sadly enough I can not show you all my desktops, I've got a big collection of wallpapers which I switch from every ... minutes or so.

However I would like to share them with you. I've put all of them in rar files.
The rar files are in the attachments.

I hope you'll find some nice ones ;)

(I dislike a few of them, but I thought someone might like them so I just putted them in.)

And yeah there is a lot of space stuff in there :p

that's unclean because my rubbish bin is full. i'm a crazy clean freak on my desktop, i can't stand it ever being untidy, not a single bit. it just makes me feel so disgusting and all that, ugfhdgfhu!

This same thing counts for me, allthough I do have 1 folder on my desktop called desktop... Do you know what rocketdock is b.t.w. :)?
Check my desktop in the previous page to see what it is.
I find it kind of usefull to have my commonly used applications on top so that I can keep the rest clean and have everything easilly accessible :p
(It does take a really small amount of RAM, but I don't give a shit I have 16 gb)

EDIT: about the taskbar: those applications on my taskbar are not there by default, I just had those open ;)

I like using the task bar given on Windows for commonly used programs. Why use a third party program?

Simply because I want to keep my taskbar clean for applications that I open.
And since I always have loads and loads of different applications open at the same time, it would be a big mess down there :p Rocketdock helps me keep it a little bit more clean ^.^

Okay that is quite awesome that you revived this - as I've gotten a new computer I have been considering of posting the design I made for it.

First some stuff: The keyboard is with LED's made to show a green yellow combination of colors.

Okay the desktop: Found a nifty background I liked, then made my windows theme greenish, hacked the icons to change the icon arrow to one I made (green again) - Also hacked the icons to change the icon for the Computer and Firefox. Then I used rocket-dock and made my on docklet design to fit with the background and made icons for each of my subjects to fit.

All in all I am quite satisfied with it, and try hard to keep order so I don't place other icons that intended. Only section that is spreading is the games

Enjoy

Ps. Takes a bit to load

This isn't my current desktop on this computer, but it is on my secondary computer at my friends place. One of my favorites.
