Checked your desktop screenshot... I see you're making your own Cortex map terrain.. and using Steam! Hey, add me to your firends list - my username is tleno, obviously. I kinda like am working on my third Cortex terrain now (For EU), if you want you can check out the screens I added to my Steam profile's album...
Oh, and also, I think you should go look up what Solresol is. It's very different then just about any language on earth. That's because you can use it to send messages in color, numbers, sequences, and just about anything you can imagine. If there was two people in class who both knew Solresol, they could send messages to each other by blinking in the correct sequence.
I've gonna learn Solresol! That doesn't mean I've stopped learning Swedish though, even though it might be put on hold. I mean, I'm learning C++, SQL, Java, Swedish and Solresol. This is gonna take a while.
Well currently there weren't any of masterpiece icons that would raise the iconmaking standarts, most of icons for SC2 Ive seen lately are just recolors or something like that, so I guess your icon should be approved.
Hmmm the wrench edges are a bit blurry, I guess you should sharped them... oh, and I like the weapon upgrades button... talking about that, I guess you could also make an Inventory (or Backpack) button. And maybe some consumeable buttons - like medikit or some energy batteries.
You know, I was kinda thinking of taking those achievement icons (Once I found in editor all of them, stacked into a one big texture/picture!), and making separate icons out of them.
Also, you could like... dunno, the game lacks icons for all the basic common items, you know, tools, food (Well fine Aiur Chef can be used here), some items like radio or whatever, maybe some... well I pretty much don't have an idea... so much stuff to make icons off...
