Hey guys,

I couldn't seem to find any "Show your current workspace" thread, the other threads are mostly about your desktop (inside the computer) or photos in general. I want to see where you guys browse the Hive from.

Post a photo of your desk with your computer turned on showing the site, perhaps even this thread :).

This is my current workspace in our new home. We now live in the town called Roskilde which is about 30 kms away from Copenhagen where we used to live. It's much more quiet here and we have more space. It's great.

This is an old pic, since my rig is currently getting it's PSU replaced and everything is hooked to the T100 tablet. xD

The Nexus 7 has been replaced with Asus T100 and the M500 mouse was replaced with G502.

Planning to get 2 1080p side screens, after I upgrade the main TV to a 50' 4K.

Yea post more stations! I actually have 2x computers because every weekend either I'm hosting or my friends host LAN parties. So with this wide table there can be up to 4 computers. Once there even was five but that was long time ago...

And yeah I like to do different kind of drinks. Perhaps I should start using two screen once again... Some years ago(like 6 when there was no trend to use more than once screen) I had TV screen("cathode ray tube") as a second screen. Back then I used to watch & play at the same time.

Well due to the surgery I had, I have to use the PC from my bed, for the time being.

On the second pic you can see how is the tablet hooked up. xD

Ultra epic workstation (though no work gets done there. ever.):

PC under the table:

Relevant info:

  • Headphones are Hifiman HE-400 with Alpha pads.
  • The beer about to be poured into the glass is Two Tree Porter, a collaboration between Brooklyn Brewery and Finnish Sinebrychoff.
  • PC has GTX 770 and 4570K in it.
  • The paper roll is not for what you think it is.

Also I didn't clean up at all, so that's an authentic view (actually worse than it usually is)

Here's my whole living room. The PC and TV are hooked up so I can watch and play games on controller (poor X-box is never used anymore). The blankety things are my tent and sleeping bag which are airing out from my last backpacking trip.

Workstation area is standard-messy. Last nights dinner and random bills. Standard stuff.

My cable area needs organising. I also need to get my new usb 3 external an extension cable so I can have it on my desk for easy removal (to use on my laptop)

Side note: transferring to my USB 3 external from my SSD drive gets up to 100mbps. I love it. My old external is a disk drive so it gets capped at about 30 even from my SSD (I think. It's definitely a lot slower).

@Nuclear
That tissue.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It never is...

Anyway, good looking work station :). Why the vertical display?

Gilles, your living room looks like a dorm room :)

Most websites and programs benefit more from extra length than from extra width, so this allows for much more visibility. Besides, it's a small monitor, so in landscape mode it'd look kind of petty compared to the other one.

Nuclear wins for cable management.

Thanks, I'm proud to say I don't have any cables touching the floor. You should really tie up your cables too ಠ_ಠ

I'm in a basement suit, so it's wayyyy bigger than a dorm. Full kitchen, lots of hallway space (it's a weird design), and a decent sized bedroom. I have enough space for a ping pong table (I was next to it taking the photo).

My stuff gets moved too often for that. I take my PC out for LAN parties once in a blue moon, or I need cables for random reasons. It could be done so that I can unplug everything and take only what I need (I only take the PC and my mouse and keyboard with me). Also I would really need to go get longer cables for my internet and phone line. The guy gave me tiny cables when he installed my new cable and phone lines.

Oh and it's not a corsair mouse. It's a Levetrion (sp?). Got it for $19 on sale.

Monitor on the left is my dad's, the one on the right is mine.
I know it's quite messy.
