I've got an idea, why don't we make it where votes make up only about 20% of a persons total end score.
80% is the judge's score and 20% the voters' decision.
Voting score is based upon the percentage of votes a player receives.

Concept:
A person receives 32.5 on 65. He gets 40% on his judgement score. (50% of points times judge score potentiel (50% * 80%)

A person receives 75% of the votes. He gets 15% on his vote score. (75% of votes times vote score potentiel (75% * 20%)

His end score is of 55%




Distribution is completely up to you but I believe this is a much better method than adding raw points to a player's score.

Pointless. Extract doodads from UTM, then import into a blank m,ap. It will take you AGES to delete shit you dont use in UTM, trust me.

But thats what we did.. I was wondering if it would be okay to give credits to the makers of the models in the UTM.. instead of each individually because it will be hard to find the creator of specific models.

No, you have to give credits to each individual author. Finding them in the model section shouldn't be that hard at all.

Gah, py, not all models are in resource section, at least not in OURS. There are many from wc3c though, and if you are clueless about some author, feel free to PM me.

That's how think conformist people; rules are rules ; words for words...
But if it must be paired it can be paired with a friend in RL that has no account on the hive or even myself.
Any i said that just to ask because htere is no single mapping contest, i'm aware for this one it's too late to join.

The website Midnight2 got our models from did not have credits, as hard to believe as that is, so we cannot give credits to the creators. What are our options? Keep them without credits, or remove them from the map?

Meh, We probably arent. AoSes are my weak spot. We will see, though.
