I need to get a valid full version of WoW. I'm too lazy to use uTorrent or Vuze. Takes way too long for that stuff just to download. I'll stick with buying games and getting them right then and there.

I tried using an MPQ from a Trial of WoW I downloaded, but it seems to be protected or something.

Models that miss parts are mostly characters and some random models (Only rare cases).
You can still look weapons (Some miss textures though) and armors (Helmests/Shoulders/Shields cause other armors are just skins slapped to the chars)

[Not Wc3:WoW Related] I am currently looking for good voice actors with hopefully good quality microphones who are willing to help with a cinematic that me and Bob27 are working on. Voices for just about every race are needed, so come on and post a zip file with a few samples! [/Back to Wc3:WoW]

Orgrimmar is coming along well. No big enough updates yet to show off the map some more, but be patient. Maybe tomorrow or the day after I can.

Skore_sM is our best tester so far. Has reported a lot of bugs already and he has been with us for not that long.

The released Wc3:WoW campaign file at our downloads page currently is the OLDEST version there is to find of Wc3:WoW. It was before Condemned Entertainment came around to take over the project. Yes, it sucks. The new one will massacre the one we released. I'm just releasing it to show off what it used to look like and to show what progress we've made since then. LOTS of progress. The campaign is totally remade and renewed. Just about every last detail is recreated and improved. So don't worry, the next release will be worth your while for sure, I promise that.

Thanks for the sites, Csicska.

It is not impossible to add and will be added... some day. There will be a few things we'll need to be sure of to keep the jumping players from doing something unexpected such as going through walls or whatever because of jumping. We'll see how it goes. If you find good jumping systems, post them so we can see which is the best.

hmm

i saw a cool jumping system in a halo map or something... i forgot though.

it was the best jumping ive ever seen though.

perhaps you could find TCX << a shooter map that has a cool jumping system.

THAT's the one! TCX has an extremely good jumping system. If you could get them to help you with that then this project would be even more awesome.

Jumping will be included and, if we can, the space bar will be used to jump. Otherwise you'd have to hit some other key to jump, which is something I do not want, nor does anyone else.

I'm working on Orgrimmar again and The Drag, the Valley of Wisdom, and the Valley of Honor are the three areas I'm working on right now. The Drag is getting the most attention for now since I really need the Thrall's Chamber building with its interior in order to actually finish it. I'm also going to need the battlemaster room/building as well to finish the Valley of Honor. The next two building-related models that I'll need is the Ring of Valor and that structure where the Orgrimmar Hunter trainer is located. I'll get a name and a bunch of reference images later when I can and when needed.

The Cleft of Shadows is doing fine. There will be requests for that area as well, so stay tuned!

Are the cities seperate zones? It would give you a great ability to enlarge the cities to a maximum range of beauty.

P.S. - Since WotKL's new SW change. Are you done where the SW's port covers now?!

Edit: Can we have a list of all the Zones that are currently being worked on/complted? =)

Thrall is indeed a boss. What level? As 60, since we need to set the level maximum for heroes to 60.

Cites are, of course, separate zones. Why wouldn't they be? And if you meant to ask if they are separate maps, then yes, they are separate maps as well. Orgrimmar is its own map and Thunder Bluff is its own map, for example.

Being Worked On Now In Line To Be Worked On Completed
  • Thunder Bluff
  • Orgrimmar
  • Valley of Trials
  • Stormwind
  • Elwynn Forest
  • Arathi Basin
  • The Barrens
  • Mulgore
  • Durotar
  • Echo Isles
  • Thousand Needles
  • Ashenvale
  • Ragefire Chasm
  • Character Creation/Loading Map
Nothing is declared as done anymore since I plan to revise just about all of the already made terrains. Durotar, The Barrens, Mulgore... they all need much more work and their map scale size to be increased! Most of the maps were made very inaccurate and that contradicts our promise to make the mod as accurate as we can, challenging our abilities to the fullest. There are still a lot of resources needed in order to make the gameplay and landscapes of Wc3:WoW accurate and valid, so if you think you can help in that area, check out THIS THREAD!

That's the top down for you. Right now, the majority of the maps are about 187x187 up to 256x256. I plan to recreate the terrains entirely to be accurate and fitting for the mod at a size of 480x480!
