I did not said that it's impossible, but it will make illogical too

You see, selecting an army (12 units max) and pressing up arrow key, and all of them like "hey let's cast kame-hame-ha together!!!111eleven111!!1"

Spells that aren't unique cast will do this if you select multiple units of the same type. For example, troll berserkers' Berserk ability, footmens' Defend ability, abilities based on Channel that don't have the "Unique Cast" option checked. So there is precedent for it.

I'm not saying it would be flawless to make an arrow-key-triggered ability MUI, I'm just saying it would be possible.

Edit: Actually you could make it a unique cast as well. It wouldn't be very accurate obviously because even casting it one at a time, it would be hard to determine which unit will cast it in which order. Does FirstOfGroup sync up with in-game selection?

I need another spell, if you dont mind, it's for a Fire Elemental, so far, my fire elemental has Ring of Fire, the spell that I need is a spell that shoots a fireball at a target and the fireball splits into more fireballs hitting other targets, with 10 levels, dealing .5x intelligence per level.
If that's possible, thanks :)

Does the fireball homing seeking target or just split and move along straight line and when it hits enemy unit, it splits ?

@Jas.per: I've done your request, but my personal suggest is that don't put such random values in abilities because it's hard and will cause extra trouble making 'em. But anyway this is an easy one so I've one it. The Nature's Armor. I'm not familiar with the knockback stuff so I think you'll need to find someone else.


@Vladadamm: To be exact Def is not entirely alone. I still helps doing some requests that's in my capability, to reduces the work Def needs to do. :D

The Lightning Shockwave doesn't sound too complicated, I'm just not sure what he's looking for. It seems to me he's looking for an AOE spell to target ground that does initial damage to every unit, then drains HP every second for standing in it. But I'm not entirely sure, I'm kind of confused.

A couple questions about Lightning Shockwave, Jas.per:

1. Whats the radius of the spell (In other words, how big should the spell circle on the ground be)?

2. You mean 100 initial dmg and then some damage over time (in your example you said -5hp/sec) similar to Flamestrike?

3. By your example of the hp/sec it would end up being something like this:

Again, defskull doesnt have 50 arms nor 50 computers to do all requests. This is all voluntarism. He volunteered to start up a thread and help you. Least thing you can do is be thankful and wait patiently. Stuff like this isnt done at a single snap.

Plus, that comment is more rude than him not accepting the request. Just because yours was passed due to too many posts doesnt mean that the person ignored the requests. Least you can do is wait.

Alright, awesome. Sounds to me like it shouldn't be too difficult of a spell for someone to whip up (especially since it's similar to flamestrike).

But what do I know? I'm no spellmaker, ;)

defskull can i request some skill like this:
Flaming Arrows(not solarium anymore)
It's an autocast skill that gives bonus damage.
When the hero attacks and the time of day is 6:00- 17:59, he deals additional bonus damage calculated by (agility x0.3./ x0.45/ x0.6/ x0.75) plus (damage x0.3/0.445/0.6/0.75) pls make the variables simpler and post them in a comment page in the trigger editor..

I can only hashtable to it if the damage is once per 0.03s interval, but this one, just 1-time damage per ball, now that should create a Unit Group of array :)

One suggestion, Def. Use 1 unit group to store the damaged unit and check it so that it only deals damage to unit who are not in the unit group.

Unit Group needs to be indexed (unique for each dummy), that's why I learn Indexing :(
I know somehow Hashtable allows the Unit Group to be saved individually for each dummy but it's just too hard or I am too noob, don't know...

Either way, I have decided to learn Indexing :)

And yeah, spells are pretty smooth for now

@zarpalasjohn, your requested spells have been completed !
If there's anything I need to change/fix, do tell :)

I made it there to support multi-levels (you can disable it by setting SupportMultiLevelEB to False in the setup trigger) well perhaps I want to add it to the Spells Section, inspired by you, idea by Kamehameha

You can also disable the annoying floating text show damage all the time, set the ShowDamageEB to False

Its from inside the game of course i know but i mean dont import nothing make the beam with your model like the beam in that map !

Level 1 ~ 5: 50 damage ?
Level 6 ~ 10: 90 damage per level ?

Basically;

Level 1 - 50
Level 2 - 100
Level 3 -150
Level 4 - 200
Level 5 - 250
Level 6 - 340
Level 6 - 430
Level 7 - 520
Level 8 - 610
Level 9 - 700
Level 10 - 790 ?

Don't you think it's a bit, unbalance ?

Same question goes to other Increment that you have wrote, I'm quite unsure what that is

So please try to enlighten it for me :)

Same goes to:
- Knockback = lvl 1-5 = 10 lvl 6-10 = 20
- Levels 1 to 5 = .5
- Levels 6 to 10 = .6
- Levels 1 to 5 = 5
- Levels 6 to 10 = 10
- Damage [1-5] = 50 per level
- Damage [6-10] = 100 per level

It's quite weird if you set those damage, better to have a balance scale dude

NOTE: Spells will be on hold if my understanding has not reached its satisfaction.

To get the real feeling of so-called Kamehameha

Well, I have tried to be creative enough to do that beam as model (default models by Blizzard) but I failed you, sorry

I am triggerer, not animator/model-maker.

Yes of course, but please, I hate to import models and stuffs if I'm making a spell (if it's a Boss Fight or an epic Campaign or even RPG, that's a different story)

But for a simple spell, I really hate it, sorry :(

And please please please, describe your spell as detailed as you can

Perhaps you can even use Google Translator to help you more and help me too :)

Yes and here it is :

When we start the effect of this ability then our hero damages units within 300 of our heros range and knocks them all back !
I think its an easy one than the other :)

Can i request a wind gun? Similar to Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies.
The gun shoots in the direction flinging all the zombies up in to the air in the area infront of the player hero and come falling down, and there is probably 80/100 chance for them to die? You could always type black ops zombies wind(thunder) gun.
