There you go guys, I don't have time to work on map anymore, I added arrow key movement system cuz someone of you requested it, I added multiboard and restart system to start game again without rehosting :)

Wow ,Hot Potato is interesting but I think it will lack on
"Enjoyability Is the map fun to be played through to the end? Does it pull you back to play it again? /35 "

So far Kobas wins but I dont like pacman at all so Il vote for someone else.

Okay guys time is running and everything works not as perfect as I planned, BUT, finally my first map ever finished is out. So here we go.

SheepHunt v. 1.03

I tried to make something simple yet fun and addicting. Did I succeed? Think for yourself.
Players: 1-5
Time: 10-20 minutes
Goal: Hunt down flying sheeps, survive and defeat the final boss.
Features:
  • AI beta works okay, so if you're tired of single mode and have no friends to play with - feel free to add bots to replace them.
  • Teamwork suitable gameplay. In multiplayer better results may not be achieved without teamplay.
  • 3 game modes different for single and multiplayer game. If the game is too hard - try simple mode. If that was a piece of cake - then go extreme! Elvendan does not guarantee your butt safety in that case.
  • 7 different sheep types with their own special abilities.
  • 7 types of gems and 13 recipes to give you different ways to develop your hero.
  • 4 hero abilities which are all needed so think carefully what to learn first.
  • 12 levels - from sleepy beginning to the hardcore final.
  • There are also lots of different minor things which are to make it fun. Glad if you notice them.

Innocent sheep

Frankly speaking, it's not that innocent as you think. But it is a sheep for sure.
Speed: 185-225
Health: 15
Damage: 10-30
Special abilities: n/a
Poisonous sheep

Slow and ineluctabe plague bearer. Sometimes you feel it coming long time before you see it.
Speed: 125-165
Health: 80
Damage: 20-30
Special abilities:
Plague. Deals 15 damage per second to every hunter in 380 AoE. Effect lasts while sheep is alive. Several effects do not stack.

Exploding sheep

Probably the deadliest sheep in the world. When it comes near - run for your life.
Speed: 100-140
Health: 70
Damage: 1-350
Special abilities:
Explotion. Deals damage based on range to everyone in 350 AoE including other sheeps.
Flaming sheep

The other names for that monster are "flying terror", "OMGWTFBBQ" and "It burns!"
Speed: 170-210
Health: 600
Damage: 0
Special abilities:
Ignition. Flaming sheep ignites you untill you reach the water or die. Fire deals 20-25 damage per second.
Burn. Flaming sheep is flaming so it just burns out getting 60 damage per second.
Metal sheep

A usual sheep with nothing special. Just made of metal.
Speed: 195-235
Health: 35
Damage: 20-40
Special abilities:
Ricochet. When you attack metal sheep with regular attack you get 20-40 damage back.
Electric sheep

Fast and deadly like a lightning itself, electric sheep has no mercy even to it's allies.
Speed: 240-280
Health: 25
Damage: 15-30
Special abilities:
Thunderstorm. Lightnings are hitting everything around electric sheep dealing 15-40 damage. Electric sheeps are immune to it though. Effect lasts some time after sheep's death.
Cursed sheep

You're doomed. You will die anyway.
Speed: 145-185
Health: 41
Damage: 15-25
Special abilities:
Curse: Cursed hunter won't get any damage from his curse but will surely die in 15 seconds if he wouldn't find the salvation.





[Balance]
- Credits for every sheep killed with explosion sheep now goes to a hunter who exploded it.
- If a flaming sheep burns out while being snared, credit goes to a hunter who used prey net on it.
- Flame now deals slightly less damage.

[AI]
- AI players will no longer heal you if you attacked them several times.

[Visuals]
- Added bleeding effect to all seriously injured hunters, so you can easily decide who to heal.
- Added floating numbers showing how much time you have to live when cursed.

[Fixes]
- Sheeps now chase you to death and don't return to their starting position anymore.
- When sheep comes and discovers it's target is dead, it changes it's target.

[Misc]
- Ignition and Curse sounds now play only for the owner of it's target.



[Balance]
- Slightly decreased the amount of expirience given for a sheep kill.
- Expirience given for a sheep killed near a hero now depends on how much hunters are around.
- Sheeps' movement speed rebalanced.
- Fire damage decreased again.

[AI]
- AI learned new potions recipes and now know how to use it.

[Visuals]
- Added some custom models by General Frank.
- Added arcade camera. Can be disabled with mousewheel and enabled again with /camera command.
- Minor UI improvements.

[Fixes]
- Fixed most of the bugs with Prey Net, including crash after using it on a boss.
- Hew ability reworked. Now every tree respawns in 30 seconds after being chopped.
- Some minor lags fixed.

[Misc]
- Items are not droppable anymore.
- Added some new recipes and items.
- Added different game types.
- Game now shows proper message when players lose.




[Balance]
- Hew ability now gives you some lumber.
- Sheeps' movement speed is no more a constant value.

[AI]
- AI is now familiar with all of the items.

[Visuals]
- New loading screen and minimap preview.
- Minimap improved.
- Other UI improvements.
- Terrain changed a bit.

[Fixes]
- Lots of issues fixed.
- Missing tooltips fixed.
- Fixed Poisonous sheeps from giving expirience twice.

[Misc]
- New items and new shop where you can buy stuff for lumber.
- Proper messages when player dies or leaves the game.
- Added a visual effect on hunter which gets higher level.
- Spectators added.



I rushed very hard for that contest so there are still some possible bugs. Report me please if you find some. The map is NOT protected.
My skills are not perfect but I'm doing my best and I hope you'll find this map entertaining. Thanks.

It IS less hard when there's less people. Amount of sheeps appearing depends on how much players are playing. If you are the only one then you get a small stat bonus.
Come on, you can do that! :)
Anyway, try /simple mode. You'll get shared-vision or full vision of the map you are alone, stat bonus and also in simple mode sheeps are displayed as enemies so your hunter attack them automaticaly. And you won't lose any gold or lumber after death.
I still think that classic mode is well-balanced after all. It's not easy to go through it but it's a challenge! Try to buy items faster and try to work in team! Good luck and thanks for feedback!

Story

Twelve villagers find out that one of them has turned into a zombie, it's not their fault, but you have to kill them or be killed!


Objectives
  • Humans: Survive for one-thousand seconds! (16 min, 20 sec)
  • Zombies: Kill and convert all humans!
Features
  • Totally custom landscape.
  • Lumbermill for making trees.
  • Houses for Taxing.
  • Round system so the game remakes itself.
  • Zombie units can raise themselves, so use Graves to reduce the number of bodies around them.
  • Base starts in a ring of trees.

Map is unprotected, as far as I know.

Will ai make your map get a better score? because i have a pretty bad ai, only for testing purposes. I dont really want a poor ai to make me lose points xD

i really dont know about it
but, its better have no AI than a poor AI as you sayd :)

FAQ's:
Q: How many players?
A: For now, 1x1, but i can edit the terrain and add more players (no AI ,sorry)

Q: How can i win the game?
A: Dominating the first ant colony (it has a special bond with all other (yeah is sounds gay :p)

Q: this map does not appear to be a mini-game to me u.u'
A: I made ​​this map because I'm not an expert in triggers (ZOMG BOUNCE, MISSILES, SLIDING THINGS, F***ING MATH THINGS,PARABOLA, vJASS DARK MAGICs, 2D PLATAFORM TRIGGERs) , so I made ​​this statement based on the original game, but I believe it has factors of a mini-game :) [CMON 150 hours editing ;(]

I can see where you'd think that... testing this map is pretty boring.

I think I'll only get a strong score here if the judges test multi-player.

War Carts Contest Vertion


Introduction

This map is based of the game Mario Carts in battle on Nintendo DS the map Pipe Vally. I have recreated the game on Wc3 to represent that any game can be converted into Wc3 but I've created my own vertion of the game!


Game Play

In the game you start of by picking one out of 11 different carts to play with against up to 7 other people and allows 2 observers(observers require a challenger to work). When you pick your cart and the game starts your camra will be locked to your Cart and you will have to use your keys on your keyboard(up, down, left and right) to accelerate, brake and turn different directions. In this game you will have to run into the Item Boxes to get a random item(ability)(sorry only had time for 4 items) and you use those Items to hopefully kill the other Carts as much as you can!
The kills needed to win has been set to 10. Also sorry there isn't any AI.


Features


  • The unique 3d bridging(going over and under the bridge).
  • 3rd person camera with the arrow key movement.
  • Unique Piping system(teleporting)
  • 11 different Carts to choose out off.
  • Unique get random Item system.
  • 4 unique Items.
  • Great Game play Terrain.


Items(Abilities)


  1. Pursuit Bash: Makes your cart flash for a short amount of time, makes you invulnerable and if you touch another cart it takes 6 damage.
  2. Fake Item: Places a fake, dark Item near the user. When an enemy cart comes by it explodes and takes 4 damage.
  3. Set Web: Places a trap beneath the user. When an enemy cart runs over it it gets trapped for 6 seconds and takes 1 damage.
  4. Wide Swarm: Makes a wide swarm of bugs in front of the user taking 4 damage away from whoever gets in the way. It has a chance to fail.

Hey guys! You forgot my entry xD

Well this is the last update (And the Second : |)

"Space hunter" is a game inspired in the classic Spaceship game style.

Something to know?
It's really easy to play it, you only use five buttons: the keyboard arrows and the Esc Button. I developed a menu system very simple but useful. Well, I think a couple of screen shots says more than a thousand words :D

Dwarven Assault Arena

Description:
Try to kill your enemies by firing missiles and other weapons at them as you fly through the sky

If you get shot down, you will land on the ground as a mortar launcher and you can launch mortar missiles up at the remaining enemies

You can purchase items that give you upgrades at the end of each level

I think that you should make a link to the post to the description of the maps, because some have some. Also am I allowed to edit my description, because I don't see any rule that is against editing the post(description) after the dead line has came(which it has)?
