About the Map:

The map is a Hero Survival/Defense type of map and that basically means that you will pick a hero, buy some items and defend your castle from being destroyed by waves of enemy units and bosses.

You play in a team of 5 or 10 players, and at the beginning of the game each player is given a choice of what type of hero they want to play, it's highly recommended to pick 1 Tank, 1 Healer and 3 Damage Dealers for 5 people. Or 2 Tanks, 3 Healers and 5 Damage Dealers for 10 people.

To progress into the map you will need to kill every enemy unit that is thrown at you and that will earn you experience and gold by killing those enemy units.
When you reach level 12, your hero will evolve and you will gain access to your ultimate ability.


Each hero have four abilities:
Three of those abilities are basic abilities with a maximum upgradeable level of 8
One of those abilities is the Ultimate ability with a maximum upgradeable level of 4

All shops have
global range

Type -begin to start the event (You need to be 2 players or more to be able to play any mode except the Test Mode)

New players may feel a little bit overwhelmed at first but practice is key

- Unit Indexer system has been upgraded from GUI to Jass
- Healing Meter added
- Several upgrades in the Heal Engine system

- Moon Elf Racial now works as intended (Did not reduce magical damage)

- Added a new ability - Living Forest

High Elf Cleric
- Added a new ability - Holy Power

Angel Guardian

Shocking Light
- Changed cast range from 1000 to 2000

High Elf Priestess

Soothing Light
- Changed the area of effect from 200 to 250
- Added more effects to better see where the spell has been cast


Mountain Giant
- Breaking Nature stacks now show as a permanent text instead of a fading text when updating the stack count
- Breaking Nature now inflicts 25% of current HP as damage upon reaching 14 stacks


Blood Elf Fire Mage
- Scorch now show the stack count as a permanent text above the hero

Human Death Mage
- Death Magic now show the stack count as a permanent text above the hero

Orc Warlock

Life Drain
- reworked

Human Builder

Land Mine
- Now detonates after 3 seconds instead of 5 seconds

Build Siege Tank
- Updated tooltip

Sheep God

Be My Friend?
- No longer deals damage
- Now increases damage taken from all sources


My Best Friend
- Cooldown changed from 12 to 10 seconds
- Duration changed from 6 to 5 seconds


Falling Friends
- Changed duration from 10 to 8 seconds

Ogre Mage
- Added a new ability - Blink

General
- Removed the old Heal Engine made in GUI
- Created a new Heal Engine made in Jass
- Created a new Text Tag system for healing made in Jass
- Upgraded several core systems with added Jass code

- Now has a new model for stage 2

A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Damn you removed the ability to play the game in singleplayer? I just started the game and my base got destroyed.

Hello! Yes that is correct.
I wanted to prevent people from using cheats in single player, and this is the only way i knew how to do that. Its not to be mean or anything like that.

The idea is simply to encourage people to discover secret heroes, bosses and rewards in this map by playing with others, thats the way the map was designed to be played.
And if someone wants to play around with a hero to test its abilitys or perhaps test an item or two, then the test mode will grant you all of those possibilities to do just that =)
