He stared at her, silent.
''You must've suffered much..'' he mumbled.
''Anyways! Back to me.'' he grinned.
''Well.. hm.. where to start...''
''I was born happily as a Niadorian Prince.. eh. I wasn't the best of the best, nor the most beautiful and such. Since I grew up, I noticed people treated me with respect because of my position, not because of who I really am. I was looking to proove myself, I think.. so, when a piece of the Northrend Star fell, I followed it, as is written in the Prophecy, and came here...'' he finally said, ending the story.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Uhmm, ok, nice" Alyssia said, eyes wide, shocked at the simplicity of his story.
"Nice you are rather!" she insisted.
"It was hard, also... but Urak helped me" she said beaming at her plain white arm.

 

[Fussiler1]

He had glanced at her arm, but quickly resumed the conversation.
''Eh? You mean that kid?'' he asked.
''Well.. hmm.. let's go on with the lessons?''

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Yes" She replied "Let's".
"Umm... what to do?" she burst out laughing uncontrollably, very nearly falling in the pool.

 

[Dragonson]

Meanwhile, Elvor was experimenting with a new kind of chemicals that he had found.

 

[Fussiler1]

''Good point..'' he mumbled.
He looked around and found in his pocket a small notitionbook.
''Anyways, this book was given to me to a dying human.. you might as well learn something from it. It's getting dark anyways.''

OOC: Sorry, gotta go to sleep.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Ok, right, I took to long, I guess" She smiled.
"I will leave, read this... thankyou" she nodded, indicating the book as she took it.

She left Akador there and ran back to the encampment, she was exhilarated, just like on the hunt...

Upon arrival she sat down next to Elvor, failing to see Urak, much to her disappointment and began to read.

 

[Dragonson]

"You were gone for long.
You know that i presume?"
Elvor said with a smile on his face.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"I do now, he pointed out, not good with time, Kyrrin" she said, looking up at him, returning the smile. "Where's Urak?" she couldn't help but ask.

 

[Dragonson]

"I don't know.
And i wouldn't bother if i were you."
Elvor said without taking his eyes of the chemicals.
"He's a being of great magic, and he appears and leaves whenever he wants to.
Even though he might not be aware of it himself."

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Bother with what?" Alyssia asked puzzled.

 

[Dragonson]

"With where Urak is."
Elvor said.

 

[Grey Nightmare]

Alyssia's eyes narrowed playfully, thinking he hadn't said all he meant.
"Hmm... you doing? Need help?" she asked, enthusiastically, putting the book down and staring at the coloured vials around Elvor.

 

[Dragonson]

"Alchemy."
He said, then handed Alyssia a bottle with Glowing-Blue liquid.
"Try pouring it out on the ground. If my theory is right, that should create a energy pool powerfull enough to serve as a replacement for sleep."

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Really?" She asked, eyes widening as she stared at the bottle.
"I am rather tired..." she began before undoing the stopper and pouring the liquid, with great precision onto the hard, dry earth.

OOC: Is this a 'roll' thing or just works/fails?

There was a small puddle of water next to elvor. it suddenly started to glow and shimmer, its surface undulating...

Zarion walked out of the Caravan, and he examined the surrounding, noticing that Urak isn't there. "Where is Urak?", he asked the Mage.

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor nodded.
"Put your left hand in the pool Alyssia."

 

[The World Is Flat]

"Suddenly the water f the pool shot into the air, forming into a strange... distorted shape... It continued to form, eventually becoming the shape of urak..... and suddenly the water darkened and his skin formed out of the undulating tendrils..."

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor's face darkened.
"On second thought, we might want to worry about where Urak is."

 

[Fussiler1]

Akador sighed and drank some of the Azure water, and re-filled his water flask.
He sprinted back to the caravan, arriving after one minute.

 

[The World Is Flat]

Urak fully materialized out of the water. becoming whole. "sorry if i worried any of you, but i feel more comfortable in water. he said with a smile.

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor didn't show any feelings, but his magical aura relaxed.
"I have no problems with that.
It would though be nicer if you told us first next time."

 

[The World Is Flat]

"I will then." He said. The he broke into a large smile and his entire body became water. It splashed loosly down into the puddle again... looking just like normal water....

OOC: DRAGON. NEXT ONE.

OOC: I'm thirsty guys! -drink-

Akador arrived and looked around, wondering if anything happened.
However, nothing special happened and he sighed, drinking some of his water.

 

[Dragonson]

OOC: If you want me to be able to pull this off you gotta' be patient.
I'm waiting for the right time.

[Grey Nightmare]

"Your back!" Alyssia squealed in delight, though her face turned quickly dark.
"Almost drank you..." she said, with an apologetic look in Urak's direction.

"Wow", Zarion looked in astonishment. "It has been long since I saw that magic whirlpool made by the Leviathan to counter a wild whirlpool"

OOC: he did return to his little pool.

IC: a reflection of Urak's face appeared on the surface of the water smiling. "I would not be affected if you drank the entire contense of this pool.

"Really?" Alyssia asked, astonished.
"Hmm, perhaps no lose you?" she smiled.

"It will be very hard to take me away again. but those who hunt us. are vey powerful." The us seemed to indicate only urak and Alyssa....

 

[Grey Nightmare]

Meeting his gaze Alyssia asked, timidly "Why do they want me and you?" Ensuring she stressed the second to last word.

 

[Fussiler1]

He stopped drinking and put his flask away.
Looking around, he saw some of the party conversing and talking..

"they... i... i am not sure, and i wont talk of it unil i am."

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Oh" Alyssia said, obviously a little disappointed with his answer.
She brushed a strand of white blonde hair behind an ear and went back to reading the book given to her by Akador, picking it up and tracking through once more.

"but," he continued. coming out of the water and re-materializing like before. "I can tell you that you and everyone else in this group is extremely special. the reason they want you is that you specialness is showing..." he sighed. "i have a theory... but i'm just not sure..."

 

[Grey Nightmare]

"Ok, thankyou" Alyssia said without looking up, utterly baffled at his explanation.

"Fine..." he sighed. "Look, whenever a... being like me... is created... it matches a being on this earth... these matches are alled soulbindings. and those who are soulbound are extremely powerful... well acually that depends on the being they are soulbound to... my theory is that eveyone in ths group is soulbound to one of my brothers... and that i am soulbound to you..." he finished. sighing... looking into the distance...

 

[Crazy Cow]

"I think you have the wrong person, then," Kryn said. "My soul is already bound with someone."

"oh? your kind of binding is different. because of the sheer power of the being you are attached to, it is acualyl a far less potent connection, so you are not driven to insantiy... soulbindng is slightly different."

 

[Grey Nightmare]

Alyssia didn't speak, move or even breathe for several seconds.
"That would... why I?", She couldn't finish, overcome with emotion.
Swallowing she, looked up, gently placing the book down. She walked slowly over to Urak and raised her hand in front of his face.
"Touch" she said gently, a bit scared.
"Insanity?", she snapped her round, having heard Kryn.

"How do you know about us?" Kryn asked, surprised that an ocean prince would know about a far-off jungle empire, much less the nature of the God Serpents and the blood rituals that bound them to their champions.
"What's this about insanity?" Kryn asked of Alyssia.

"I Know farm more that you could imagine. like i said, i am not a human, or mortal creature, but i am a being of pure magic..."

he then turned back to Alyssa... and gently brought his had up to hers...

Alyssia turned back to Urak and allowed her soft, pale and fragile hand to touch his.

He closed his eyes for a moment. the a plue of energy rippled through them both. "I am indeed soulbound to you Alyssa." he smiled.

She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, letting the energy flow through her. It was intoxicating. It spread like wild fire, filling her with energy.
"What does that mean?" she asked eventually, eyes still closed, but a huge smile upon her pretty face.

 

[Fussiler1]

Baffled he had heard the conversation from afar.
Soulbound to an element?
It was simply amazing and disturbing at the same time.

Urak shuddered. "It means that you and are essentially one. once we preform the recognition cermony of course." he smiled to elvor. "and he know exactly what that is, and how to do it."

 

[Dragonson]

Elvor nodded, but said nothing.
He didn't seem to like the subject much, and his face covered in a dark expression.
