Two Custom Races: High Elves vs Trolls — A Warcraft III Reforged Experience

Step into a brand-new Warcraft III battlefield where two fully original custom races rise to clash in a deadly war of arcane might versus primal fury. In this high-quality custom map, you’ll command either the proud and powerful High Elves, protectors of ancient magic and the Sunwell — or the relentless and savage Trolls, warriors of the jungle who channel voodoo magic and Loa spirits to overwhelm their enemies.

You say it's not just a reskin and that's a lot of passion and work been put into. Well, misleading. It's just the opposite. Simple. And that's nice.
As always...
A credits list in the map description with the names of the authors whose resources you've used is mandatory. That includes models, skins, icons, custom spells, systems. Also, sounds, music and everything outside this site.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Nice custom races, but the icons are still green when paused. You have to add “ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNyourname” and “ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNyourname” next time.
I still dont get it how to do it but ill try it to fix it latter thanks for the advise my friend

Wish we could all agree on not using AI for map descriptions, especially when the generated description isn't exactly true to the content in the map.
Its true but dony have the time to do it myself but i check it and do some fixes before posting it , btw if you like the map pls give it a good rateing

Btw after i download both icons and still same i dont undertsand where can i put the other icon (the daker one when pause) ?
 
can't use skins for the heroes, they will revert to the original model. I don't want to play Muradin throwing arrows at the enemies
"Hey! Thanks for downloading High vs Trolls. Sorry you're having issues — most people who've downloaded it say the custom skins work fine. If you're still seeing original models like the Mountain King instead of the Ranger, it might be one of these problems:

You might not be playing the map using Reforged graphics. Try checking your graphics settings and make sure you're not set to 'Classic'.

Sometimes custom models don’t load properly if the map was moved or renamed. Try redownloading it and placing it in your Maps/Downloads folder.

Make sure you're using the latest version of Warcraft III Reforged, since outdated clients can bug out.

Overall, this map plays and feels like a typical melee battle of Human versus Orc. I played as Amani Troll and only useful feature I found is addition of healer caster, to pair existing Troll Witch Doctor. It changes strategy a bit, but not too much.
In my opinion, try to look at @Wa666r's custom altered melee race if you want, they can inspire you to create a good example of a custom, unusual race.
Missed opportunity to make Amani Trolls rely on their Loa more, or make something unusual with Troll Regeneration.
I liked the models and skins you've used.

My humble opinion is next: try to move slightly from melee race, and try to make an altered melee. I trust you can do it!

As you can see, every icon resource thread has a button called Import paths.
But there is only one place in the edtor so what shoud i write there for the icon to work when the unit or the building ia not unlocked yet , pls help i know you think i might be anoying becaus i cant understand it right but i whant to learn how to do it

I was hoping you woud give this map at least 2 star , you always guve my maps just 1 star and i worked really hard on this map hoping to get better but sadly the same rating from you 🥺
