The contestants must create an avatar of them selves. The Avatar must be in the form of a Warcraft 3 Hero.

Welcome to the poll for __Contest Name__! Please read through the rules before voting!

• Each user can only vote once in the poll. (remove this for a multiple choice poll)
• You cannot vote for yourself. If a voter has the same IP as the author then the vote will not be counted and it may result in the disqualification of the entry.
• You cannot create multiple accounts to vote for an entry in the poll. If a voter has been found to be using multiple accounts none of the voters votes will count in the final result.
• You cannot bribe users for votes. Contestants who break this rule will be disqualified and given negative reputation.

• First Place: 50 reputation points and your entry on an award icon
  
• Second Place: 30 reputation points and an award icon

Originality	How original the hero is. Small derivations of standard WC3 heroes won't yield much score in this category.	/15
Visual	How does your hero/spells/icons/ect look (Eye Candy).	/5
Coding	How leak free, efficient, and well structured the coding of the map is.	/10
Synergy	How well the abilities fit together. This means the synergy between abilities.	/15
Balance	How balanced the hero is compared with other WC3 heroes. Is it overpowered? Underpowered?	/5

• 75 % of the winner shall be determined by the contest's appointed judge(s).
• 25 % of the winner shall be determined by the results of a public poll.

Inviting your friends to vote for you, bribing random members with rep and otherwise cheating with the VB poll system will get you DISQUALIFIED, BANNED from future contests, -REPPED, and possibly INFRACTED. So don't do it!

This includes, but is not limited to, sending PMs out to various users, getting other people to send those PMs, advertising this contest on other sites with the intention to gain more votes (whether it is explicitly stated or not), and so on. If you are suspected of cheating, the staff will notify you and interrogate you (hopefully) over PMs. <3​

* I downloaded and tried them all and already have my decision.
* I considered the visual effect, but in many cases the space that the hero would occupy on a map is exaggerated.
* I considered coding, synergy, balance....In the end my vote is for Xiliger.

One thing I did not understand.
Pharaoh_ used the model of Anubis, the god of darkness into his hero. E nominated the hero of Prist of the Eternal Sun

Well... That's totally clear for me. I mean, you can create a hero NOW (just for fun and share it with us, no for the contest), if you have an idea, don't wait till another contest (which will start half a year after the finish of this one ) begins.

I know it's meant ironically ... however, I don't think it is worth opening a poll if it doesn't at least count 25% of the final results!
I also think it is best to have at least 2, preferingly 3 different judges and no poll.

So far I know they are up to it, although they have a stressy reallife right now. xD.Schurke told me he is having his final exams for school...but as long as the poll isn't done, we won't get the results anyway, so patience is required ;P

There have also been several times in the past we had some just registered persons voting for 1 member, and also there is the fact most of your friends will probably vote for you.

That is why polls are messy, clean judging is done by 2-3 judges and no poll, since judges shouldn't have any bias towards the contestants.

Why do you think we need any reasons to vote? I voted for the hero, which I liked the most from my point of view. If I was going to vote for a friend, I'll definetily vote for Xiliger.

Maybe you just are not agree with those people, who has different from you reasons for voting?
That's a poll, you determine your self, which points are the most important ones. For me - I didn't even look into the code - that's a part of judges (More work - more unfluence on results (75%)), I was just voting for concept/synergy/how interesting the hero etc.

So that's difficult to talk about any right reasons for voting here. (But I agree, that voting for friends is really stupid reason )

To Aspard,

Voting for a submission for any other reason than your actual opinion is meaning you are having bias towards some contestants, meaning you favor some and meaning you aren't voting as you should.

But since you can't actually make someone say a reason why they voted like they did, you can't do anything, and that is one more reason why polls aren't good, you can't expect everyone to play fair(not talking about this poll specifically).

Clean competitions don't have polls, that is my opinion and i am standing by it.

Naw, i Like being fourth ^^ Not as good as being 3rd or 2nd or 1st, ofc, but 4th is quite good. Oh well, in my honest opinion - yeah. Polls shouldn't be for competitions other than some not so serious.
