I don't wanna fight but i think it had been two days since i posted my character info, and i hadn't read the private message, but let bygones be bygones
 
gah, did we really have to fill up a page with an argument? As we said, the info should just be on the character profile. It's better than RPing it out, even though I had to do that just to show I wasn't godmodding or anything. anyways, I hope there won't be any complaints about the character info. Honestly, i don't know who the character is for, since I recall hearing that the ugretians are Gath's race, and I remember that someone else was going to use them. so I'm a little confused right now. If you'd like to make it clearer, please do. lol
 
After searching through I found out I never made a character for the Zyomanrai.

Name: Zarinitimon {Follower of Zarinit} (aged 1343)
Race: Zyomanrai
Occupation: Supreme Admiral of the 1st Fleet
Description/Apperance: He looks like a typical Zyomanraian with dark gray skin, long hair greased to a point, dark red orbs for eyes, and a form that is agile and binds light around it. He wears pure black clothes which form to every curve of his body with the symbol of the Zyomanrai on the right breast.
Background/Other: From his birth a voice has lived wthin his thoughts. The voice identified himself as the Great One or Zarinit. Zarinit was dead, his spirit fled but his body alive through artificial means, but yet it spoke to him. Twisting and forming his mind to a deep hatred of all life not of his own race. From an early age he worked on the great extermination fleets slowly building in rank and becoming the Supreme Admiral of the Zyomanrai all though the guidence of Zarinit. Now he has no family all driven mad, because they couldn't live with the voices plaguing the mind of every Zyomanrai. Only a young son unknown to him now. After becoming supreme admiral he renamed himself Zarinitimon meaning Follower of Zarinit and lead the great fleets of the Zyomanrai into an even greater path of destruction plaguing to within his lifetime bring the universe to its knees. Recently obliterating the worlds of the wolf people scum he now sets his eyes on another area of the galaxy planning to bring destruction upon unexpecting races. Bird people, fire loving freaks, wolf people survivors, reptilian like life forms. Extermination awaits them all.

Weaponry:
Crystal powered armor, like an exoskeleton, increases his strength, speed and mobility. Left forearm is bladed. Dual pistols and high powered long range rifle

Background/Other: Born into a military familly of heroes, got to where he is with his willpower and unforgiving character, will do anything to finish his given task, and always looks out for the interests of the Urgentien race.

I'll have to find a way to increase my defenses... but how? D: I can funnel most trans-system arrivals to the gates (with the exception of rifts), but how do I keep people from passing the defenses I set in place? Unless...

Most homeworlds are hidden, off record. The ugretian character seems a lot nicer, while yours seems to be close to godmodding. Especially when you decided he's going to attack. I highly doubt any being could live for over 1000 years. There would be too much stress on the body. heck, there would be too much at 200.

Scouts can be sent, scouts can be intercepted there are lots of ways to know of a race. Also notice how he barely knows anything most likely just the location and what they look like. And he doesn't nessicarily know where your homeworld is.

Hes a man from a past full of death and destruction and him and his race blames everyone for it therefore... extermination. Remember they have been taught from birth that the only way to end their suffering is to kill everything.

If you had a problem with the over 100 years lifespan you should of said that when the several other races with over 2000 years lifespan were being approved. Keep in mind different races ananomy are completely different so what might seem impossible to one race could be completely possible to another.

Hes not a Ugrentien and isn't suppose to be nice. You approved the race how could you say now that they are suddenly godmodding. And if you have concerns name something thats godmodding. At the least he would give yall a challenge considering now yall can steam roll everyone basicly.
 
Well, I wonder if the Chozo could talk their way out of extermination, as they ahve only been in the galaxy for 20-ish years with hardly any contacts or socialization with any other empires or races. :/ Would they still qualify for extermination?

Well, I could be a godmodder if I wanted. Anyone could godmod. I can also appear to be capable of godmodding with how I use the various weapons in my arsenal of a fleet. I could develope a fleet of mellee ships and give them physical weapons, and super reinforce the hull, as well as powerful shields and navigating engines, and thus "godmod" in keeping p with enemy warships. But, I don't. There is always a way to win, even against me. It simply lies in the mind, whether their races developement has a sudden jump technologically, and godmod, or whether it's steady and logical to an extent. Besides, why can't someone send spies? Though they won't easily be able to get onto an enemy ship, due to a busy enviroment, they would have a very hard time getting any codes, as well as replicating voices and translations. But, it is possible. Though I tend to think his intel suggests the Chozo have been in the galaxy for ages, due to their level of technology. :P

Gath, what exactly are they suffering from? The quickest way to end it would be to kill themselves. XD I highly doubt they would leave any race they find alone. btw, how close can they get to the sun? I know my ships can get pretty close because of the heat resistance, while ships like the Koldir can't. Gath, the only 2000 life span race I can think of is the Holis, since they are energy. Also, I wasn't here when most of the races were approved. So you can't use that against me. Besides, it only the life span being longer than 500 years where it gets questionable. I know the Time Lords from Doctor Who can live a long time because of their regeneration, and there are some other ways of staying alive.

I know that every race is different. So you don't have to tell me that. The Koldir and the Chozo, Liminoth, Hols, Ugretians, and Vultarans can all breath the same air, if the Holis breath at all. The Vultarans breath a completely different atmosphere. One filled with ash, toxins from underground, and smoke. They can still live in a world filled with oxygen, but part of the problem would be the lack of atmosphere and heat. Vultarans can change how much heat they emit. when they are angry, the temperature goes up. When they are calm, it goes to normal, about 200 degrees. However, they can lower that so that they can be around beings that can't take the heat. This heat that they naturally emit, allows them to survive in space longer than we can. There lungs have a form of circular breathing, where part of them takes in the atmosphere, and the other part recycles it from the body, with the option of putting the atmosphere back out or back to their lungs. This way, they can still breath in space, but for a short time. I don't know how long your race can stand in the intense temperatures and atmosphere, but most races would be crushed by the pressure before they even die from the toxins. The Koldir didn't die right away, if you noticed. And the Chozo wouldn't stand a chance.

On the part where your character would know some things about our races. My Vultarans are new to this sector of space. Always expanding, and always killing enemies and taking their technology. You wouldn't know what the Vultarans looked like, except for maybe a captain. They don't stay in contact for long, their language is completely different from other races, and their atmosphere is filled with a sort of fog. Gath, you wouldn't be able to get a living spy in if you tried. lol And robots would stand out too much. XD
 
Name: Orgehai "Hullripper"
Race: Shantaron
Occupation: Brute or "Wolf Soldier" (Generally he kills things.)
Description/Apperance: Orgehai is extraordinarily large and muscular ( The height and muscularity About 2 and a half fully grown and daily-training-in-the-gym-for-six-hours Human Male. Explanation in Background/Other). He has a strange tendency to Growl silently when he breathes, even if there is no reason to do so. His fur is all White, making him look fierce but then again it is a great disadvantage in stealth (a thing the Brutal Orgehai never uses.)
Background/Other: Orgehai were a great warrior of the Shantaron. A general of some kind. He got his name "Hullripper" for surviving being thrown out of a spaceship into open space by using a laser to cut through the hull of the spaceship, getting in and closing afterwards, therefore surviving. He admits himself that is was a crappy hull, but that's beside the point.
During his career of war, he killed quite a lot of people (ofcourse, duh.) and therefore got quite alot of enemies.
At some point he killed a fellow general out of rage, due to the other persons lack of tactical knowledge. This act were taken seriously by the current dictator, and Orgehai were frozen and left in a container on a far-away-from-where-things-happen planet.
During his time frozen, a strange gas coming from the core of this planet got into his container and begun affecting him in strange ways. Though he were frozen, he started growing. He did not age, just grew.
When frozen and left on this far-away-from-where-things-happen planet the dictator told the other Shantaron that Orgehai had died in battle, for he was a war hero and the people would not like what the dictator had done to him.
So when Orgehai finally grew large enough to shatter the container and regain his consiousness (if that is spelled correctly...) he were presumed dead and gone.
He returns now, huge and ready for war, to the galaxy.
Without Nationality, Without thoughts of Vengeance, Without Friends of any kind, but with a Will to Kill, so kill he will. "Whoever i join, there will be war."

If there's anything wrong with it, tell me. I am sadly enough not that much into the lore of this RP yet :(
 
I don't get it... How could a gas effect someone in stasis? Their metabolism is frozen almost to a stop, just like everything else. And, due to the size of the container, one could never grow 2 and a half people tall, even if it were big enough. There is just too much ice! The ice cannot compact that much just for the body to grow rapidly, and using a small metabolism. Besides, how exactly is a gas supposed to get through the thick ice anyway? The containers, or machines do not take the atmosphere to the subject, in case they may be floating in space. With this in mind, I seriously have to question the size (if a standard human is between 6-7 feet, he'd be 15 or 17.5 feet. That's a bit big for most ships.)

That's the problem I find sticks out the most.

dragonson he was in no way being hostile to you, he just pointed out the flaws in ur char bio., which is always a good thing. And the the fact that it's not earth doesn't mean anything goes, there still needs to be some kind of logic involved.
 
Sorry to disappoint you, but I find holes in things. I use logic, which, I'm afraid, I don't see too much of it in life from others (outside the internet) If something doesn't make sense, I question it. I try to make it so that everything has an explanation: technology, anomalies, other scientific possibilities, but the only way that gas could get past the ice is if it was ethereal, between dimensions.

It's realistic, as everything else was realistic. Blue is still blue, not red, and there are no martians on the sun. Science as we know it still exists, for the sake of RPers' minds. Coming up with our own physics is a pain, as it alters every possible part of the RP. If gravity is opposite, then so too, will theforms of creatures, ships, etc. But as the physics remain the same in and outside the RP, we ought to have little problem with gravity or anything else. Sorry if scientific is too much for you to RP with.

Although I admit it would be possible to alter a form, it wouldn't be safe in cryostasis, due to container size, and the etabolism making it very hard to commit. Now, outside, for however many monthes or years he spent trying to find a way off the planet, then the enviroment could have some chemical changing properties, enhancing hs form. Yet such enhancements woould come over time, perhaps almost a year or more. But, outside of stasis, with his metabolism returned to normal, it would be more likely.

Gas has to be able to move. That means, as ice is solid, or whatever form of container is used, ususally with a casing, the gas would not be able to pass through the solid material.

I find that kindof insulting, as I may be logical, but I am not some lost soul begging for attention. I am here simply to RP as my Chozo race, and in this thread, critique your race and technologies. So, if there is anything else you find as a problem with me, take it up in my profile. Otherwise, let's discuss your race. >:3

When i point out points (as i am doing now) i don't feel like being agressive myself :) Offensive maybe, but that is not something i try to be. I argue, cause i've grown up with arguing as the way of life.

But hell, i think i will just stick to fantasy rp. Much easyer to make things be "realistic" when a old man can make ten-ton rocks fly around by waving a stick and mumbling something ;)

dude, chill out.
1. We want this to be as realistic as possible. We try to refrain from teleportation as it is a cheap way of getting past security. We don't change the gravity, or known physics of materials and space. Also, nobody has time travel. that is basically outlawed in this RP.
2. well, gee, Since when have we known about any kind of gas that has this effect on someone? It HAS to be alien to us.
3. I don't see how a gas would get into a sealed container, unless the hull was trash. lol I'd say it was the gas effecting him when he got out. A very painful process.
4. You don't need to keep repeating this about the gas.
5. Well, since our laws of physics are pretty accurate, I'd love it if you stayed with it as much as possible. That means that you won't be able to barge through an army, taking hits and not being hurt. I've seen it where people did that. There is no invincibility. And there is no super weapon that can't be destroyed. It may be hard, but not impossible. Things don't just blow up because you put a charge on them. lol

Dragonson, you haven't read part of this RP have you? You don't know what we are capable of, so you just assume we might go all out and ballistic. We love logic. It keeps things in check. I'm surprised you even made that comment. You did say that if there was anything wrong about your race or character, to tell you that. and that's what we're doing.

I have a question. If he's on a deserted planet, how does he get off? If he finds a ship, it won't be working. He's a warror, not a mechanic.

I am sorry for any offensive things i have said/done, but i have realized this is not my kind of RP.
For an example: The phrase "We Love Logic" makes me want to run away and scream loudly.
I play games to get away from logic, to enjoy a good time away from the laws of the world, shooting things with fireballs and cutting other things down with swords.
And no, i did not read that much of the rp, and i admit that if i had done that you could have avoided wasting time discussing my char.
This is not my kind of RP.

Life Span: Immortal parasites as long as they don't get lost from a body in nowhere for 2 years

Description: Demonic humans with powers of darkness. Most have dark rock flesh or bone like horns on there body. They are not seen by morals but can influence them to cause war and other evil acts. This power is telepathic and only the strong willed or immortal can fight this power. Other powers are elemental control (pyskic), near godlike mental powers, fast heal though will and the greatest of them all, dark convergent. Which takes your body and creates a home for a Darkusion to live.
Other/History: The Darkusion are from an era where the two universes were at war. The Fredolis, the Laminari and other elder races fought the race know as Darkusion. They came from the ruins of their universe, Hel. The war was great and few of the elder races survived. In a battle, the Fredolis gave up there lives to seal this threat to wait until all races can fight back. This battle was on Barukus and ended with the holis project that completed the cycle of life. Their bodies died out but the spirits remained. Now after eons of waiting they are now awakened by a fleet of ships that took the belt of memories. They didn't act until now, after the only threat was gone. The holis leaving had set in motion a war that will consume the universe in war. They now send luring signals to call any foolish group to free them.

This race I hand over to you as the dark race you keep yelling about.

no immortality. evil voices? controlling the elements? 'near' godlike mind? rapid heal? How about... no -.-

Besides, I never really cared for the artifact plots. They always release something new. And, as I have no purpose for a belt, I could simply put it back. :/ All transmissions are recorded, so, it's a simple matter of replaying or recreating the sound and pattern. :/
 
I feel I need to make yet another race for him. :/ He killed off the North'throdir I made for him :/

Sol, when designing the tech, you want to leave variety, allowing for others to find ways of using weaknesses against you, and you can use your ships to protct those weaknesses. As great as it would be to create a ship with no weaknesses, turrets on all sides, There has to be weaknesses. :/ As for the physiology, I tried to base it off of humanity in a way. A 200 life span, as any longer makes it rather awkward, and a history that involves their developement, as all races have different ways of developing, and often conflicts. They will not always get along, and there will be factions with several issues, as shown by the ancient Chozo empire. One of their problems was that they were in a dead system, and the refugees took a risk in leaving the galaxy to head for another, that may be filled with hostility, or also be dead. But, with a scientific background, they remained an advanced race, and rebuilt their lives on a new world in an organized fasion.

So, something with boundries, problems, and solutions, etc. makes up a good history. As for physiology, the Chozo have lacking phycic powers, as technology replaces what needs for any powers they developed, and, being birds, they can't take much of a beating, as they don't have the thick bones other races have. Sacrid's Vulturan race cannot take extreme cold for very long, and must maintain a hot body temperature. This makes settling on other planets very hard, and thus eliminates almost any conflict they would have with other races over homeworlds.

There is also technilogical variation. The Chozo are scientific, and have a warpath history. The Vulturans developed their technology to withstand temperature difference, and need metals and such as close-to-the-sun planets will be dried up from their existance there. Elenai had bio-metal ships, a mixture of metal and organic materials. The ships could heal themselves if supplied the materials required to merge it into the hull. Otherwise, one could simply burn the hull's organic components, weakening the structure's integrity. DarkKnight's Koldir are a mellee race, and prohibit ranged technology, as it is illiegal and against all they believe in. Though, this greatly weakens them, as it leaves them with a gap that needs closing, between their ships and energy weapons and explosives. This puts pilots and ships at great risk, as they must close the gap before being able to attack. Well, I think that's enough examples. Have fun! :P
 
var, you forgot that I also have biometal ships. Those are the Spirit Cruisers and Wraith destroyers. They literally grow, becoming more dangerous as time goes on. Given enough time, they will become a destroyer, and placements for beam cannons are made. They start off with laser turrets anyway. lol
 
But don't forget, the Koldir atleast somewhat compensate it with rather high sub-light traveling speeds, and their pilots are unmatched in combat, also in hand to hand and sword combat, the Koldir have great skill (They could pwn a Shaolin monk after about a minute of fighting while having one hand tied on his back (even the women)) Also, the gap between women skill and men skill is realy small...

Well i just saw that every1 has their own races and that kind of inspired me to make my own, i'm not giving up on the urgentien character though.

Name: Qui'Saari
Home Planet: Ethma
Controlled Planets:Degma, Trifna, Quadragna, Pentathna (Located on the Cygnus arm of the milkyway galaxy)
Life Span:450 earth years
Govenrment: Monarchy
Leader: Silanur Uq'Dor
Description:
Physiognomy can vary drastically between members of the species due to genetical engineering, but the unaltered form is very human-like, but their skin is a pale silver/gray, usually stand between 8-9 feet, and are muscular by nature due to a hormone Ci'p'nar ( can be compared to the human testosterone, but more powerfull), some have been modified to the extent that they have wings, and there are others, unaltered genetically, but still better than those who have been, The Royals ( as the name sugest they are usually in a noble familly) these are very rare.

Other/History: The Qui'Saari are a highly advanced race (technologically), their ships run on multiple fusion reactors, which can produce enough energy for light-speed travel. Their weapons are state of the arc plasma technology, using gravity projection fields to launch the plasma at incredible speeds. Their armor is made of an ore ( Talonite ) that can only be found on Ethma and Degma in the entire galaxy, and quite possibly the universe, because these are old planets this rock has been molded by the planet's interior pressure and temperature making it very tough but not too heavy, it has a white/bone-ish color, but most Qui'Saarians paint their armor.
Evolving on a planet with an ecosystem similar to Mezozoic earth, the Qui'Saarians have adapted to endure the most intense of battles, and the longest tests of stamina. Their Empire was founded approximately 3 millennia ago, and through the internal struggles it has actually managed to persevere With the help of the iron fist of the Uq'Dor dynasty which has stayed in control for almost 2500 years ( last Civil war was 168 years ago). The current leader plans to expand the empire much further, even though their planets are enormous.

Religion: These people are highly scientifical they do not believe in gods, instead they follow the steady hand of science.

Race:Qui'Saari
Occupation: Admiral of the Empirical fleet.
Description/Apperance:
Millitary Bio:

- Platinum Star for bravery ( Saved the Duke of Degma ( he got stranded on an island filled with wild beasts when he went hunting, much like modern day safaris)
- Tacticians commendation ( For retaking the Palace during the civil war, even though he was very young for a commander )
Descript:
Tall for Qui'Saari standards, muscle density superior to average Qui'Saarian, physical endurance is extremely good.
Takes care of his men, and will go to the extent of risking his own life to save one of his crew.
His looks can be intimidating, standing tall and muscular, with a sinister expression always on his visage.

Background/Other: One of The Royals, from the noble Dynasty Hi'nor, he is in charge of the empire's right hand, the Fleet. He has full noble gear, ( Reinforced talonite armor, Starslayer Mk VII assault rifle, Blade Mk IX high powered-long range rifle, and Hero Mk VIII sniper-pistol)

Main:
Two Pacifier cannons, each with it's own Nuclear Fusion Reactor, firing with incredible energy, equivalent to the force of the volcano that created La Garita Caldera on the earth. Though the fusion cores can overheat and backfire if fired too rapidly.
Side armaments:
10 Annihilator, ship-to-ship canons, not nearly as powerfull as the pacifier cannons but can still do some serious damage.
105 Anti-fighter plasma turrets, (200 meters appart each, range is 800 meters so one can compensate the loss of three other towers)
1 Volvux Canon, approximately half of the pacifier's energy, but overheats much faster. ( usually used when fighting numerous enemies, or when attacking a planet)
Shields:
Has two shield barriers, one is a gravity projection field, that deters projectiles from their course ( can even pull fighters that are close enough, and the other a plasma field that will fry anuthing that get's through the gravity barrier.

I know the ship seems to be goddmoding but bear in mind that this is the best ship in the Fleet, other destroyers can be maximum 2/5 of this ship's power.

lol It's nice. However, I'd love to know what a Royal is.(to be a royal means you have to be a prince, princess, king, queen, duke or dutchess. although nowdays, those are merely titles that keep the paparotzy on you at all times.) We need to know his military bio and what he looks like. If you can find a picture of what he looks like or a general idea, that'd be great. Try the same thing with your ships. I put my Vultaran stuff in a gallery album. lol (simpler that way.) Don't forget to tell us what kind of weapons and shields it has. You might also want to tell us ho close they can get to the sun, since my ships can get pretty close. lol Remember that first contact is going to be rough. nobody has your language down, and you don't have ours. XD

According to this royal is basically anything in relation to the king/kingdom (including the king himself, so Royal would mean that they are of noble origin and possibly blood tied with the emperor)
The planets are actually named by their numbers (ethma-one, degma-two and so on)

And about the language, the Qui'Saarians are a fairly old race so they might have had contact with your races before :D (note i said might)

Actually muscles are more dense, so in a smaller muscle they pack bigger power, they usually grow taller than normal Qui'Saarians, due to their muscle density they weigh more, but can endure physically what the others can not.
Bones are tougher and less brittle. Reflexes are better.
They are basically an amplified version of the average Qui'Saarian, and even though they are better naturally lots of royals will put implants in themselves to make them even better. The emperor is 648 years old, even though their natural life span is predicted to be 450 years, due to the fact he was genetically altered.
 
Well then, I guess I'll have to overheat your ship's cannons. I have to wonder how much damage it would do to nano-steel (nanosteel is reinforced by compacting the molecules together, and strengthening them with a specific synthetic crystal) Also, what exactly is the cannon? Do they fire one massive shot of energy (like a shell) or is it a sort of beam cannon?

As for the shields, well, I have energy weapons. All I need to do is plaster lasers and beams onto your shields :P And, if that doesn't work, well, I have Planet Crackers and their array of explosives and bombs :P (a special mining bomb made for pushing a planet apart from the inside, is best used to split fleets apart as it explodes at a distance. If a direct impact is made, and proper lining is not present, then the target is screwed, as it's like poking a nuke as it blows up. :P)

But don't worry anyone, my Planet Crackers are simply mining ships. Massive, but slow. Lots of armor, but hardly any turrets to worry about. :P I won't be abusing it. lol And, only 3 exist. :P
 
You know, I thought it was up to everyone who is active, not just Gath. lol Your race has my vote. lol It's interesting, though I would think that someone who's bones and muscles are denser, would be shorter. Also, people are shorter if they weight more. And I'm not talking about fat people, or the really fat people. lol
