JUDGING SCORE:
47/60
VOTES: 20
OVERALL SCORE: 67

Cameras Movement/Positioning:
+ The cinematic was in first person, which is something that not many cinematics have done in the past, but I think you have done it well in this cinematic (+2)
- Sometimes the cameras move a bit to fast for my liking, and sometimes it would do strange things, that didn't really look very realistic (-1)

+ There was good detail in the terrain, although not all of it was completely visible because of the lighting, it looked really good (+1)

+ I think that because of the atmosphere you created in this cinematic, using lighting, terrain, sounds and basically everything else in the cinematic you have made a good dramatic cinematic, and I liked it a lot (+1)
Score: 6/10

+ / - MODIFIER:
+ The cinematic was always full of action, and never slowed down (+1)
- There was a bit at the start of the cinematic, where it shows the normal game screen, you should make it start cinematic mode using the map initialization event, so that doesn't happen (-1)

I can't believe they had same score, there should have been one winner. I'm satisfied that I didn't fall so back in the judging points. But I also disagree with some of Bob's comments about the maps but I will leave it.

Ok well the 15 next to the name was just a typo, and it actually does equal 16, its just for some reason is had that 5/10 score up the top, shouldn't of been there. probably accidentally copied it there or something. Well fixed it now :)

Yeah, finally I'm a winner, too!
I agree with Bob's judging in nearly every point, really nice.

I think we can both feel satisfied with this result, can't we raging? I also thought that my cinematic was technically slightly better, but yours was more original and so won the poll. So I like the solution with two winners!

Congrats! I think it was a fair decision.

Stop getting pissed off at the reviews.. =P Nah I'm just kidding...

Anywho, great contest. I wanna host the next one but not until I get a virus off me WE comp.. That comp also has Photoshop and everything.

Except the systems I used, everything was made with GUI in my cinematic, too!
And concerning the count thingy, Griffen is right. But I think it's too late to say that the 3rd place is not a winner since it is actually the 4th. So just let's call it 1st, 2nd and so on PRICE instead of place and the problem is gone since many persons can get the same price!

Thats the main post that made me first suspicious about it. I mean no offense but your cinematic isn't any where near as good as ragingspeedhorn's or Waldbear's. Then I just checked the IP's confirmed it. And as for the score he got Just_Spectating would of been 32/60.

And as for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd thing yea its a bit late to change it now, so i'll just remember that for next time.

Could you fix our icon bob. It has ugly white dots around it, make those transparent aswell!

Hm, this was my first idea, too, when I saw it. Now I use to take these dots as a glow, but nevertheless this is a very optimistic view. But the idea of glow itself is nice I think, prevents it from looking too simple; maybe just make them yellow and add some more also to the edges and one would better understand it.
Anyways, if you like to do it Bob, we will be happy about a little graphical update even if this was not a texturing competition!

Fixed the award icon.

Bleh, it's because gif's can't handle transparency right. It can only handle opaque and transparent areas; not 50% transparent or anything like that. 'Twas a simple fix.

(If anyone wants to know how I did it, I clicked Save for Web (this is in photoshop), then on the right I clicked the "matte" color and changed it to that of the hive's background (332C29), then saved it. I also went and used the eraser tool to get rid of the white bits)
